We booked an elopement wedding at Millbrook, we loved how intimate the location was and the accommodation looked brilliant. Well, the photos do it no justice at all, it's outstanding!! The team are great, the accommodation is fabulous, the whole experience was beyond expectation. We loved every minute of our wedding and stay at Millbrook.

Wow, this was a fabulous place to have your wedding, it was immaculate, lovely manicured lawns, the buildings were pristine. We were met by the Wedding Planner and given a tour of the estate. Three Alpaca's came over as did the chickens and the loacal cat. The setting was idillic and the setting was beautiful. A wonderful place to get married.

Had my wedding here it was lovely place that was kind personal and relaxed. Bob owns a lovely estate and tbh the pictures do not do the place justice. Mandy was excellent in calming the bride so there was not a run away and the Devon registrars were lovely. Wheel room was well equipped clean and warm. They have lots of land for our dog to run free. There are no negatives to say but I understand this places reputation now for initiate weddings. Best place to go for reliable, honest and beautiful wedding. We will return!

We had the most amazing, magical and wonderful time at Millbrook - I don't even know where to start with my review! From the moment we arrived it felt like we'd arrived in paradise - we stayed in the Wheel Room for three nights and were greeted on arrival by the smell of fresh bread in the bread maker, an apple crumble cake freshly baked on the coffee table, a treat box for our Border Terrier from Ruby (Millbrook's adorable family dog) petals on the bed and an itinerary for our wedding the next day which made it feel really exciting! Upon booking, Maddy was exceptionally helpful and always responsive to messages or emails and on our wedding day Justine, our coordinator, went above and beyond to provide us with everything we needed and made our day truly special. We are so grateful to Justine for making us feel relaxed and without her our wedding day wouldn't of been the same. She looked after our dog during our marriage ceremony, helped me into my dress, threw confetti photos to create the perfect images and was such a joy to have around we felt like we had been friends for years! We are eternally grateful for her kindness on such a special day. The grounds of Millbrook deserve a special mention too - they are STUNNING! We visited in spring time and the gardens and lakes were beautiful. The alpacas are very cute and there were baby goats in the field opposite our accommodation too which were lovely to watch from the window! We really loved the hot tub and BBQ hut during our stay too and we hope to return sometime for an anniversary - Millbrook now holds very special memories for us and we are so glad we eloped here for our special stay. Thank you to Bob, Kate and the wonderful team here who have created such a special place to enjoy :)

We can not thank Millbrook enough for how our magical day turned out! Meg was such a great help from the day we booked, regular calls to check things were going okay our end and if we had any questions. Yesterday 10.10.2022 was the day me and my new husband got married and it was honestly the most beautiful day, very friendly, helpful and informative. The grounds are gorgeous we didn’t have a photographer, my mother in law took one for the team and her photos have turned out so beautiful I can’t wait to get some printed off. We had our elopement wedding at millbrook on 12th October and it was better than we could have ever imagined. Maddy made the process so easy and was invaluable on the day with organising us, the registrars, photographer and caterers. All of the carefully selected recommended suppliers that we worked with were incredible and so efficient with their communication prior to the day that none of it felt like a stress. The estate is nothing short of stunning and feeding the alpacas was a fun addition to the day and a particular favourite with our 3 year old. We stayed at Rose cottage which was just pure luxury . Thank you millbrook for such a special day and memories that will stay with us forever.

Five stars isn’t enough for this place. My husband and I got married on 20th August 2022 and it was everything and more we could ever have imagined. We stayed at Lakeview and got married in the summerhouse. Maddy (our wedding coordinator) was first class from day one from when we booked the wedding in 2020 to our wedding day and went above for us. The grounds itself are stunning and you can walk for miles along the lake and not see anyone (apart from the cute alpacas) We met Bob the owner a few times who was lovely in helping us when we arrived with directions and made sure we was okay. I can’t recommend it enough, whether you are getting married or just a quiet weekend away this is the place to be! If you are getting married here, the suppliers are fantastic too and everyone worked closely together and we didn’t worry about a thing. Thank you to the Millbrook team - we are missing it already and can’t wait to come back at some point in the future!

If you have stumbled across Millbrook there is no need to look any further, you have found perfection! We had our intimate ceremony here on 04 September and it was the most magical, special day of our lives. There is nowhere else like it, the grounds are breathtaking, it's like walking into a fairytale. The whole process of booking and organising the day was so stress free thanks to our amazing wedding co-ordinator Maddy. We had to rearrange from March to September due to Covid but it was made so easy. The suppliers that Millbrook offer are a credit to the place, everyone is so helpful and friendly and go above and beyond. Arriving at Millbrook for the first time is a moment we will never forget. There are so many beautiful, personal touches that make you feel so special and looked after. You really feel like you are in your own bubble of perfection. We will definitely return to Millbrook to celebrate anniversaries in years to come and can't wait to experience the beauty of it again one day. I do not have enough words to describe the absolute magic that Millbrook creates, it’s like it’s own little heaven and all your daily stresses just melt away when you are there - we felt like we have been in a wonderful bubble the whole time! We got married on Wednesday and it was the most perfect, magical, incredible day of our lives! Maddy and the Millbrook team just excel in making everything about everything exceptional! The little touches, the tiny details, the lovely little notes and cards and thoughtful touches throughout the accommodation is exceptional! We stayed in Rose Cottage with our two little girls and it was stunning, it was just idyllic! I have literally never been so emotional and cried so many happy tears as I have during our wedding week at Millbrook, it’s turned me into an emotional mess! From the moment we got in contact to book our wedding, we felt looked after and included. Throughout the pandemic they kept us updated and informed. Millbrook offers a variety of magical experiences and after speaking to them we know the owners pour their heart and soul into the Estate. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our wedding and stay due to no fault of anyone. But I can say that throughout the process we were well looked after. Kate and Bob were very gracious and understanding and try hard to make anything work. They were professional but caring and the staff will work hard to create the perfect weddings and stays for guests. If you have any concerns or are holding back booking due to the pandemic- do not!

We booked an elopement ceremony through Millbrook, which happened in October 2020. We chose Millbrook due to its beautiful scenery, flexibility in choices, and their openness in supporting marriages done your way. From the outset, the team were very supportive. Kate and Bob kept in contact and helped us plan our day exactly how we wanted. All of our suppliers were recommended by them, which helped remove the stress of finding the perfect fit for us. Despite the stress of Covid, the Millbrook Team kept us up to date on all the measures they had put in place and offered a "master cancel" option to remove the stress of a lockdown preventing the marriage from going ahead. We booked the Lakeview for our accommodation. The property and grounds were absolutely beautiful, with thoughtful gifts left out (we really appreciated that the Millbrook offered a non-alcoholic choice). The ammenities in the accommodation ensured you were never bored, such as the variety of streaming services and an Amazon Echo integrated with speakers in the property. Additionally, the bathroom was very spacious, and the private hot tub was a fun addition! The Millbrook team provided us with a wedding day co-ordinator who gave us an itinerary that included the extra events that we had planned. Diane pre-decorated the Summer House for us with the colours of our choice, and she set-up the additional decorations that we had provided. The day flew past with no hiccups (all of the recommended suppliers knew exactly where to be with no guidance). The grounds provided absolutely beautiful backdrops for Michelle Ley to work with, and we loved that we could involve the llamas and chickens into some of the photos. We will definitely be returning for our anniversaries in the future as Millbrook had a wonderful easy-going vibe with absolutely beautiful grounds.

Amazing setting to get married in, brilliantly organized and felt as though nothing was too much trouble. Just because your wedding is small doesn't need to mean it is any less important. Also it was so refreshing to find such an LGBT friendly venue, we appreciate it! Thank you Millbrook for an amazing day.

Millbrook Estate is beautiful. Kavin and I got married in the Summer house on 4th January and it was perfect. Even our pooch realised it was a special day and was so well behaved during the ceremony. Maddy was amazing throughout and helped us plan our wedding and then navigate options when the tiers and imminent lockdown were coming. We had a gorgeous afternoon tea provided by Justine and it was all so perfect for a winter wedding with a roaring log fire. We would highly recommend Millbrook Estate for an elopement wedding.

Am just on honeymoon after having the most amazing wedding at Millbrook. Everything about the place is first class, the owners, the staff, the accommodation, the grounds, you just couldn’t ask for better. But it’s the little touches that make a place and this is where it’s head and shoulders above anywhere else. Joe and I are so glad we found Millbrook for our wedding, it really was the best day of our lives and having our pooch there made it all the more special. We can’t wait to go back.

Winter Escape We spent a weekend in Millbrook relaxing and enjoying chilling out in front of the fire. We loved all the extra touches as usual. I won’t list them as its lovely to experience them yourself. Whilst we were staying we met a couple that had eloped. It was fabulous to here about their amazing runaway wedding, they were so happy! If we were getting married again we would get married at Millbrook. I would recommend Millbrook to anyone that wants to Elope. It was an AMAZING weekend. Thank you Bob, Kate and the Staff.
