I went to a 'Shout!' Business Expo event here on Friday 25th March 2022.
I must say, the event was exceptionally well organised inside the historic and spacious surroundings. The event was a superb opportunity for businesses and individuals to network.
Good on site toilets, excellent eating facilities and nice central location in Preston.
P. P.
I can't wait until it re-opens. Walked by the front of the building, Google seems to think I ventured in.

My son loves coming to the library here and signing up to the reading scart challenge that run over summer he loves the leaflet and post cards there and the magnets they do there absolutely lovely
M. J.
Fab night, I got discounted tickets, but the seats were still good and we were sat altogether. We were impressed with the show (Aladdin), the kids enjoyed it ranging from the little one who was five and the big one who was 12, they got to meet and greet with the actors afterwards which was good 😊 think we will be going to pantomimes at the guild hall every year from now on 😊
G. C.
Easy to park. Covered walkway which is good in poor weather. Better size than some of the huge arenas for watching bands etc.
D. M.
A nice little venue, we watched the world grand prix snooker, though we was at the back, because the venue was small we could see what was going on clearly. Good atmosphere, when you go to a snooker game, prepare to have sore hands from all the clapping. Be prepared for the price of the drinks £4.90 for a peronni, ouch.

I took my 13 year old son to watch Horrible Histories - Terrible Tudors here. Really enjoyed the show put on by 3 actors. The atmosphere was great and their story telling was brilliantly entertaining. Only downside was that it was very warm where we sat on the balcony. Also it would have worked out expensive for us to go as a family of 6.
I. D.
Went to see Cinderella with 8 and 9 year olds, brilliant show, great singers excellent costumes and story. Very professional performance the kids were thrilled we were too. Definitely go again.
B. M.
Great Venue although wouldn't have got the really expensive tickets because you get a good view from all seats. Opened the doors late, so was a bit chilly waiting.
S. P.
Visited the Level. It has a lot of activities under a single roof and unique to Preston. However staff weren't very helpful...and even my daughter and her friends who went there for a birthday party felt they were quite rude. Having booked the laser tag event...I got the girls there and found that some others who hadn't booked the slot had been allowed in. They then made the girls do the event with those people who were not part of the group...absolute shambles..spoils the experience
J. W.
Huge venue for music and events. Easy to get to, loads of parking and plenty of bars and toilets.
S. F.
Went to see "Legend of a Band" who are a Moody Blues tribute band and they were brilliant. It's nice to see some good entertainment coming back to Preston.
M. C.
Been here a few times to see snooker. Great venue. Great parking, but, cash *only* in a car park, in the 21st Century, really?! Come on - get with the programme.
J. K.
Excellent sound from a great venue .watched FM and Dare there was a great night of rock!
P. C.
Preston library closed for refurbishment so ground floor area below Guild Hall being used.
B. A.
Taking the grandkids to lasertag whilst we babysit and watch them does not sound that entertaining but the staff and venue was really good. The grandkids loved it so everybody had a good time !
M. B.
This is a really nicely laid out venue that’s well suited for all sorts of events. We attended the BBC community heroes awards here. The door staff were friendly and the drinks reception was really nicely delivered. The reception room has quite a low ceiling so it did feel rather claustrophobic but there were a good number of us in there! The bar service was slow for most of the night, and I think some people would have been happy with the slower service if there had been some confidence in the staff to manage the queue, they seemed quite unsure how to establish who was next in line and that put a lot of pressure on them, this was even the case when the bar was quieter. They were friendly though and happy to help. The main event room was beautifully decorated and the seating arrangement was good - the tables in the back corners had a limited view of the stage, but there was plenty space to move chairs to accommodate. I can imagine that for a stage production this is a really wonderful venue.
The sound was good, and there are accessible entrances and exits for wheels.
The meal was basic, but in fact the food was very tasty, and the venue made a great deal of effort to cater for dietary requirements which was much appreciated. Some of the service was a little rusty, plates and forks stacked at my place setting, dropped, wait staff unsure what ‘dietary dish’ they were bringing to the table. And we were missed from the tea and coffee. It’s not an easy environment to serve in, but that’s my main area for improvement.
I’d like to visit the Preston Guildhall again for a theatre show or similar, I imagine this is where is excels.
S. A.
Great little venue, very intimate for music. Saw pigeon detectives and enter shikari here and the atmosphere was fantastic.
T. L.
been to watch the snooker all the staff were really friendly had a good afternoon
c. d.
Good place for bowling but little else
K. A.
Home to many performances with an authentic atmosphere. The chairs are comforable although sometimes a little chilly depending on the time of year. Competitions and shows run all year round and it is a large place. The concert hall has a great view with plenty of seats for the audience. It is relatively litter free with kind staff and people. Theatre is often shown with positive reviews and this place is popular
X. E.
Decent venue big enough for the biggest of bands. Well organized
P. S.
Been to a few different events here over the years. It's no Grand Hall but it serves its purpose well enough. The event area is big enough for all. At 6ft+ the seating doesn't hurt too much over time. The bar area is wide and spacious and easily accommodates a full arena of people.
E. M.
Great graduation ceremony for Uclan University students
J. M.
The venue is great. Toilets updated but no mirrors. Very few bar staff for crowd when I attended. Some not trained well and inefficient. Please please stop using plastic cups and make the easy switch to PLA, a biodegradable alternative as the amount of waste created at this venue is terrible.
P. T.
Lots of excellent events take place at the Guild Hall and Charter Theatre all year round, with a wide range of entertainment available. Whether it's sport (snooker, darts, wrestling), music, pantomime, or other shows the facilities are great and I've always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I've not had a bad experience in the many years I've been attending.
S. C.
Ideal place for gigs. Great atmosphere
S. S.
The show was fantastic and the building was good. The major let down however was that out of all of the bars, only 1 took card and it only had 1 card machine. We waited well over 30 minutes before getting to the bar itself, let alone waiting to be served. None of the bar staff knew what drinks they had and regularly got orders wrong, some even tried to serve 3 people at a time, that is obviously a mistake waiting to happen.
T. A. B. D. T. U.
A very good venue for all kinds of events.
I've been to raves here, and I've been to vintage toy collector fairs!
Two levels, and whilst the main arena upstairs would benefit from having a bar in it, this is still a well run. Unit with a great central location.
J. A.
Great intimate place to see a show. Cheap meal deal with restaurant, and cocktail bar in the same building. The bars in the venue have different functions which is very confusing and getting a drink is very difficult as it gets really busy. Parking is better but still a pain.
I. M.
Very difficult to find when you have never been to it and are not local. No signposts.
I needed to use the lift to get to the concert but it was locked and there was no one to ask to unlick it. So i had to struggle to use escalator. Very dangerous as I am disabled.
The concert hall itself was good and the service was good.
P. C.
Visited for the Grand Prix semi-final. The car park on Lord's Walk is enormous and enjoys a link bridge to the hall which is obviously pretty convenient if the weather's poor. The link itself is a little tatty and old-school - a splash of cash wouldn't go amiss here. The venue itself is also pretty ancient in its appearance but the facilities are good & clean (toilets need work though, too small and poorly designed) and the service friendly. The environment inside the hall was a climate control masterclass and probably one of the best I've experienced. All in all a pleasant venue and one well suited to snooker tournaments.
D. B.
Still basically the nice place it has been since built in 1972. Current refurbishments make access a bit tricky. The seats in the main hall look rather weary and become rather uncomfortable after a while due to lack of lumbar support. To be fair we are lucky the place did not close down, so we should be patient about problems like this!
E. D.
The guild hall is a very nice place containing many shops, small cafes and restaurants and even some entertainment facilities like the 'level' which contains a bowling alley, crazy golf and an obstacle course, it joins onto the bus station which is a beautifully designed building. Great place to do lots of things!
D. P.
Great venue, took the partner put for some drinks and a night out and found this place to be very pleasant and staff was very friendly and accommodating. The venue was very clean and couldn't fault this place,,as we had a great night all round. Recommend this place.
W. W.
Been here a few times for different events from graduation ceremonies to concerts. Some of the interior is a bit worn but, on the whole, a good place. Most recent visit was to see Gary Numan in concert and, have to say, the accoustics were really good and the seats were comfy...I'm tired of going to see bands at all standing venues and not actually 'seeing' anything at all, only being 5'3", so the raised seating was great!
D. B.
Great to support careers event #hospitality #Careers #Chef #hospitality
K.
Attended for the Snooker semi final. Once in the Arena area it was fine and we enjoyed the match. The waiting area is small and dull with little choice of overpriced merchandice. Then when allowed into the arena we were herded like lambs through a single entrance up 2 flights of stairs which was a very uncomfortable and claustrophobic experience. An accident waiting to happen! Why the other entrances were not open and people be allowed to enter at their own leisure I do not know.

We went on Friday evening to watch Alijaz and Jeanette ( apologies if I spelt his name wrong) and what a fantastic show. First time I have been to the theatre and was impressed by the easy way it was connected to the car park. I would have awarded 5 stars but on reaching the circle the heat was overpowering, everyone was fanning themselves and taking clothes off and still it was unbearable. The seating was very tight you could not sit with your knees comfortable and I am not a giant. My husband who has arthritis in his knees was so much in pain I had to ask if he could move to the side where the disabled sit although he usually is fine anywhere including plane seats where there isn’t a lot of room. Apart from those two issues the show was one of the best we have seen. If these issues were attended to I would love to visit again.
G. W. C.
Went to watch the Panto Aladdin and it was great. What wasn't great was how hot it was in the Upper tier, most of the people around me said it was way to warm.. But apart from being like a sauna it was a very good day out.. Only other issue is the space between the seats is extremely tight and if you are over 6 foot it's going to be an issue..
S. S.
Comedy night excellent. Very small and not many people in audience. But entertainment and line up were surprising good for such a small venue. Venue itself isnt top draw but only came for entertainment so who cares about that
G. M.
Visited the Charter Theatre to see The Drifters. Show was great but sadly very very poor service in the theatre bar both before and at the interval. 20 plus deep at the bar on both occasions and at times only 2 staff serving. Surely the management know what the turn out of theatre goers is going to be in advance and staff accordingly. Sorry but you need to up your game, Guild Hall.
D. H.
We ate in the new Bonds (of Elswick) cafe on Friday and we were pleased with the quality of the food and price in comfortable surroundings.
The staff were very nice and polite and we did not have to wait too long before we were served with our food (soup and a sandwich for me and just a drink for my wife).
Definitely will eat here again as the menu looks great, and if you are wondering why Mrs H did not eat, it was purely for medical reasons as she was to undergo a procedure the following day.
J. G.
Great size venue so no one far from the stage. Getting a drink at interval was manic , would help if they had a soft drink only section! Happily go again
A. M.
Still a reasonable venue but looking tired these days. Bearing in mind it's now nearly 50 years old, it's a money draining extremely large behemoth that the council couldn't get rid of quick enough. All credit to the new owner for trying to turn it around, I wish him all the best.
P. H.
Great show, great staff, concert hall is intimate but out dated
a. c.
Great customer care at pigeon detectives gig yesterday. Courteous bar staff and reasonable prices, great security staff too. My teenage son really enjoyed thus gig and venue. Fab for gigs, we enjoyed sitting in stalls before the support acts started too, would deffo come here again! Last time I was here was 1988 for my graduation and 2017 for my son's graduation- thanks PGH!
j. h.
Good venue, small which I enjoy as you really feel a part of the show, unlike some of the bigger venues where it can feel you are sat miles away. Major downside was the queues for the toilets which were ridiculously long.
M. Y.
I went to see White Lies there recently, and whilst the sound quality was very good, the stage is barely raised so seeing the band was next to impossible for anyone not stood in the first few rows. Not what you want when you pay to see a music act.
S. L.
The place in Preston for shows and larger scale events but still small enough to host private functions like awards evenings and dance school shows. The bar is reasonably priced for a show venue and there is a wide variety on offer.
R. M.
Went there for a graduation and obviously space and seats are at a premium but the major flaw in the design is the seats.
As a taller and more "chunkier" gentleman I have found seats with Ryanair are more comfortable than this! The leg room (6 foot 2) was atrocious and my knees suffered immensely and as for the seat width I think even if the love handles were shaved off I would have struggled to fit in!
The actual hall with the acoustics is great but please modernise the seating
D. P.
Attended a charity boxing event, paid for VIP table which was supposed to be table service for drinks. After waiting over 45 minutes for the drinks we ordered, they then turned up wrong and half the drinks missing. The event was really good but the service was terrible
K. B. B.
Great mid size theatre. Big enough for many, small enough for intimate atmosphere. In a complex with plenty of parking. Went to see Francis Rossi tour. Excellent.
W. S.
Evening was spoilt because the theatre was too hot. Felt quite poorly by the end of the show. Also spoilt by people being allowed in after the show had started and also by people sitting along the sides of the theatre dress circle causing problems by blocking exits and the usher speaking to them quite loudly to make them move 😠. Shame because the theatre itself if lovely.
M. K.
Absolutely fantastic event rooms from balls to weddings, proms,.grand dinner and gala nights. There is enough room for all your activities from small meeting rooms to graduation gallery and theatre rooms. Located in the very heart of Preston city, you'll be spoiled for choice should you need a quick shopping or restaurant.
S. S.
Good venue. Lots of choice in shows and entertainment
j. *.
Variety of activities.
No food though. Sad

I would just like to thank the lovely staff at The Guild Hall, Preston for all their kind assistance. From the booking of the tickets (Dream Boys) to the exit after the show, the staff went out of their way to assist my elderly Mum and I. The lift was out of order, but the kind security/doormen were extremely helpful and courteous and escorted us in the goods lift as my Mum was unable to do stairs. It is so refreshing these days to get good, helpful and kind staff and we are extremely grateful. Many Thanks.
C. G.
Pleasant visit though we didn't do enough to give an in depth review. The building is a bit of a monstrosity and a bit incongruous set alongside its neighbours. It matches the bus station and multistorey car park
M. M.
The service and food is amazing, especially compared to the stores near it. Service is great however sometimes a little slow but not to the point of anger, and the food is great. The selection of drinks is also original and lovely, I would recommend going here whenever in town.
C. D.
Positives: Good reasonable convenient parking, indoor access, comfortable seating.
Negatives: Beginning to show its age, facilities out of the main hall need improving.
C. S.
50% Of staff were just plain rude (in particular the box office lady), unfortunate for the staff who don't speak to paying customers like crap really.
Very jaded building in desperate need of attention. A real pity because the arena is great, seating is quite well spaced and set out. Toilets were grotty with hand dryers next to urinals so you are basically standing up against other people peeing (so much so nobody used the 1 dryer as it was Impossible while people were using the urinals) ! Only 1 toilet also meant a ridiculous queue across the bar to use it between sessions.
Visited for World seniors Snooker 2016.
P. S.
Visited today to watch the annual pantomime in the charter theatre. A fantastic experience, and lot of happy memories revisited seeing Charlie Caroli Jr on stage. All the cast put on a first class show. There might even be a second visit from me before it closes.
W. B.
Went to see my Granddaughter in a WRIST production. Various Junior Schools in the South Ribble area.
Was taken up a lift as I am disabled and left on my own, not happy. My wife who had gone in advance to get seats had to come and find me so I could join the group.
K. W.
DNA mindreaders were great however the venue is VERY expensive and cold - my partner was driving so I asked for a coffee to be told no! I know how much it costs to make 1 jug of filter coffee and judging by their other prices they would have made a huge profit by just selling 1 cup! We sat throughout the performance shivering, I'm sure they could have put the heating on for an hour or so. Staff maybe need a refresher in customer service and learn how to smile
C. H.
Large building with a good hall with lots of quite comfortable seats and good views to the stage area. Plenty of parking over the huge bus station with a walk through passage straight through to the guild hall.
L. M.
Very strange venue, attended for the Evil Blizzard, Part Chimp and Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs gig. Decent sound for what is essentially a round theatre venue, raked seating surrounds the standing area on the 2nd floor, the bars are on the 1st floor and the entrance is on the ground floor. It's around a 10 minute walk from Preston train station, a few restaurants and take aways are dotted around the Guild Hall.
T. S.
Took are disabled daughter to see Aladdin, the show was very good, the theatre is plain and practical, the main problem at present is parking as you can't get from the Bus station to the Guild Hall due to so called improvements.
J. A.
Visited the new 'Live' venue 500 capacity standing, whilst the roof was low the acoustics were good and there was no problem getting a decent view of the stage
E. E.
Tribute bands fantastic show! Although seated we were encouraged to get up and dance! Such a great night out!
J. M.
Brilliant entertainment venue. The Guild Hall is definitely on the up as it is being renovated at the moment. Good shows and easy access if you live in Preston. Recommended.
S. G.
Went to see the Opera Norma, the venue is quite OK but looks a bit forgotten by the time! with a bit of taste and small changes was possible to turn at least the entrance more warming and charming!
M. S.
Great venue for plays and theatre productions. Lots of attractions in the building including restaurants and amusements. Unfortunately there was a cold draft during the show making the second half a little uncomfortable.
a. j.
Went to watch the grand prix world snooker 1st round and QF fantastic arena most seats have great views parking was a doddle, pre-paid with tickets for £3 for 10 hours all staff and security are friendly and helpful and bar prices ok to
Superb value for money, returning tomorrow for the final!
D. S.
Visited to watch Cash for Kids show. Great night with lots of hard work done by all. Only downside was there was no icecream available at the interval and we were looking forward to this.
A. F.
Lots of different activities to do, especially since the unveiling of the new 'Level' complex; just be aware that sometimes there can be quite a wait, the staff will allow you to start the activities but then you'll be left to queue behind people in order to start it.
But once you are doing the activity, you'll soon forget about any queues.
J. R.
A good, medium sized venue for music or comedy with reasonable seating. Access from the bus station car park is all under cover so you can avoid the rain.
S. C.
The play was great, the Guild Hall is always a good venue. Seats could do with new upholstery adding. Overall though, not bad.
W. C.
The Guildhall looks a far cry from its pristine appearance in the 70s and later years. It looks tired and neglected. I wouldn't recommend, that in its current state, anyone should go to it for whatever reason. Its become an embarrassment to this wonderful city.. What should be the showpiece of Lancashire, is just an eyesore..
J. G.
Attended the North West Festival of Remembrance. Its a nice venue although a little tired in places. Good sound quality and relatively comfy seating.
t. l. l.
Good place to watch the snooker ..one of my personal favourites
J. M.
Great venue. Works really well with the snooker.
T.
Aussie Pink Floyd were excellent. Venue especially seats thin and worn and toilets queues long and not pleasant. Poor row and block labelling. Egress very slow.
H. G.
Went to see Dirty Dancing, great show. Great that Guild hall is back on the map for bringing great shows and StRs back to Preston.
Seating a bit tired but ok. Clean and tidy.
S. C.
Great place to go and watch snooker qualifying matches. It's only a fiver in and you get to see all top players. Nice layout as well.
J. O.
Bond's is a long-standing series of franchises. It is on one level, and the toilets are accessible by physically disabled people. Bond's of Elswick started as an ice - cream parlour and is run by the people who used to have Leaf and Bean cafe, directly opposite. Much of the same is available here, but on a larger scale. Please come prepared with cash and wallet well hidden, as my PIN was stolen in the Guild Hall.
A. S.
Loved watching a special showing of Cinderella. We had a fantastic time. Thank you to Rock FM, Cash 4 Kids and all involved. 😁
C. B.
Great expo, always good to be back face to face.
S. C.
Great venue, took a while to find it, not having been to Preston before, it was disguised as a shopping centre, could do with a few clearer signs, the ones outside look like advertising.
K. A.
I went to watch dirty dancing last night with my sister and my mum in a wheelchair and I can't thank the lady that works there enough, she kindly showed us to our disabled area and kept coming to check on us,unfortunately i didnt get the ladies name but she was so loverly ,attentive and went above and beyond...absulate credit to the guild hall..
P. S.
Good sized concert venue. Well located for transport links. Good food and drink options in the building and surrounding area.
i. c.
Great entertainment venue good acoustics easy access and parking ...seating needs refurbishing in the circle no food cafes / restaurant open on the evening I went
p. m.
It's looking a bit tired, but still good for gigs with decent acoustics and comfy seats. Cheapish parking next door too.
M. C.
I loved the way this venue felt. Almost like a big beer tent at a festival. A good place to watch live music
M. T.
Great old venue, bar is very small in the charter theatre but this is a minor gripe. Good parking at the attached bus station car park.
O. W.
A project worth doing! the guild hall has been a waste of space for many years but since its new owner has got hold of it it has been slowly transforming into abit of a party zone. Wasn't keen of the removal of trees from the front of the building then the multi-coloured benches got me worries about this places future. but they seem to have seen sence and atleast got rid of the taky benches. and although the outside of the building looks nothing like the stated picture nor will it ever probably atleast the building is being used better now and has had abit of money pumped into it. hopefully good things for the future.
C. M.
Went to a show the seating was great even at back you got a great view restaurants just outside was handy didn't have to walk far to venue well recommended
A. P.
Much better than it used to be. Actually Guild Hall needs major refurbishment, very dated. Saw Jason Manford stand up comedian who was great!!
K. N.
A nice place for an event, the food is good and the bar is well stocked.
The catering staff do occasionally get confused when serving large numbers however
M. M.
It was easy to find my way through and had a range of different shops like a cafe or great places to spend time with friends and family E.G bowling or the charter theatre
L. B.
Went to an s2s fest event here and it was like a maze, not signed very well to show which room was which. Toilets were very unpleasant. Other than that, its okay.
S. H.
Without the Guild Hall Preston would become a cultural ghost town. The current owner is striving to reverse years of neglect by the local council. Parking is easy with an enclosed walkway from the bus station car park.
E. (.
Fantastic venue for a stand up comedy show, plenty of capacity and easy to access. Place is just a little dated.
B. C.
went to see a play on..ok didn't know couldn't photo stage etc..but a nice sorry don't use mobile be nice...but no on my broken collar bone still healing the stuck up cow of a woman slaps me twice on my sore shoulder..idiot what about a nice please don't use mobile not slap me on damaged shoulder...see what doctor says then solicitors stuck up cow so far on a power trip..pitty didn't see her after the show as I be giving her much deserved boot up the ass!!! STUCK UP BINT...THE PLAY WAS GREAT BUT RUDE STAFF WOMAN. SEE WHAT HAPPENS EH
P. B.
Great gig. Good beer. Walkway from car park is a great idea. Good range of acts and value for money.
J. C.
Love this venue. Great seating for wheelchair users too. Heather Small on stage was awesome as always.
B. A.
I saw Cara Dillon here.Great artist and good venue for a variety of gigs.I really enjoyed myself.
M. F.
Looking a bit tired and in need of a refurb. Pleasant enough though but at the time of writing (January 2018) it's a bit of a nightmare getting to it from the bus station car park.
S. B.
The new leisure and entertainment attraction, Level, looks very promising. Disappointing that it is only partly open. The staff aren't up to speed with training yet either.
G. M.
Nice place now but shame there isn't more independent shops inside it. Nice venue for theatre shows and music gigs
d. r.
Went to bongos bingo at this place and it's so spacious inside with a great stage and lights. Makes you feel like your at a proper show
J. D.
Not as good as "The Old Days" fairly quiet at some events, especially the ones in the bar areas, though other events in the main hall quite good
R. M.
Easy access from the bus station car park, over the enclosed bridge. Great small venue with two theatres.
D.
I last went to visit my very first Comic con. The Guild Hall and Charter Theatre does have some good shows playing.
R. P.
Good venue. A little dated but the new owner in investing millions and it is already showing with the improved restaurant and bars.
P. W.
Seen a few acts in the Live venue and others in the main hall. Main hall much better than Live venue where the ceiling really is too low for good acoustics
C. P.
It is good , but you can't get through to the bus station, if you are disabled because their are steps
As I was going to cut through
H. M.
Was there for my son's graduation, could of done with some more air conditioning,as it was so hot.but everything else was brilliant.
C. R.
Great venue but because of all the building work going on around it, it makes it hard to get to.
x.
Went to a Kim Wilde concert at guild hall , good bar and plenty of staff about if u need any help , bit rough looking but does the job.
J. B.
Good venue, relaxed comfortable. The gig we went to there was the choice of standing or sitting
n. t.
Aggressive security on approach, that need more training in being welcomingto the public . Rest of evening at venue was entertaining and enjoyable.
S. T.
Easy access.
Clean & tidy.
Friendly helpful staff
Good views of stage throughout the auditorium.
J. C.
Played Bongo Bingo here a great night however the bar was hectic needed more staff on and another bar open. Overall a great location.
A. D.
Throughout the years the Guildhall has had its ups and downs, but still it trundles on, it is very much outdated, and does need a good revival, but it's a very good venue if it gets the deserved attractions
J. T.
Great venue and the arcade is so nice now that it's been renovated, glad to see it thriving after years of decay
E. L.
Love Guild Hall more out of old loyalty I think. Just wish they'd extend to hold bigger concerts bigger stars like other cities
L. R.
Excellent venue for live music and spacious viewing - under cover Car parking is nearby
m. b.
Decent sized venue with great acoustics.skids and big country gig.great show.
J. S.
Fantastic show
Staff friendly
Lift out of action ..had to be escorted around the complex to use alternative lift. Tiring long walk.
r. c.
Very large hall, but had good Vue of stage. A great evening with The Lancashire Hotpots.
B. B.
Quality day watchin both sessions inbetween tea at The Villa Italian , highly recommend , going to book again next yr ! Ronnies 4 centurys in 5 frsmes helped ! 😁

FAB show!!! .. scenery malfunction at the start ... but did not detract from the show!
E. F.
Went to see Preston wrestling, great atmosphere, saw some fab bands back in the day. Shame we don't get good band now...
M. W.
Brilliant went to see rolling stones story,ad great seats,be there again end of month for wet wet wet xx
E. S.
Easy to get too from the motorway. Good venue for music. Food available from outlets within the guild hall.
S. R.
Good concert, Suggs. Well worth a watch. Venue is a bit tired on hard work to get anything at the interval.
J. C.
Charter Theatre psychic Sally Morgan. Amazing show, fantastic venue on my doorstep. Love shows here.
R. C. M.
Went to the snooker recently, excellent venue, view, facilities.Car park useful although very soulless and walk, albeit inside, to venue
G. H.
Brass at the Guild Contest 2018 January 2018.
S. M.
Amazing concert, great atmosphere. We had an unforgettable evening
K. E.
This is a great venue, been there for years but doesn't get the use it deserves.
