Could not recommend it enough. Lovely group of people with a lovely set of charter boats that are kept at a lovely standard. Absolutely enjoyed this charter. There are not many places where you can charter a classic yacht like the Halberg Rassy 36 and get to understand all what makes this yacht so famous. Thank you to Alex and the team for making this such a lovely experiance.

Alex and the team totally delivered once again for our Isle of Wight festival weekend and our yacht Appaloosa was well maintained and beautifully clean. Information provided in advance was superb, the video handover was clear and concise and made familiarisation really easy so all in all, it couldn’t have gone better. Fantastic experience, really easy handovers, very helpful staff in the office. Highly recommend and will defo be back for another charter. I took Loxley B as bareboat, she was clean and everything worked as expected. She handled choppy solent and 35/Force 7 no problem at all, lotta fun!

You get great customer service and very well looked after yachts with Hamble Point Yacht Charters. We hired Yacht Spirit last weekend (December 2022) and had a great 4 day trip for the price of 2 days (winter offers). The yacht was spotless and had even been pre-warmed for us. We had asked to hire the asymmetric spinnaker and they went the extra mile to get us one at short notice. Ask for Karen or Alex as they look after you really well.

Excellent service, as usual! I've forgotten how many charters we have had with Hamble Point, must be at least 15. Anyway on this one we lost the boat keys in Yarmouth. No problem, a spare key was delivered by RIB in atrocious weather. Absolutely brilliant! BTW the original keys were found washed up near Lee on Sea. Incredible!

HPYC were great at sorting everything out from first contact to a timely confirmation of no additional charges. As with all things boats - failures and the weather cannot be planned. We had some equipment failures during the trip and HPYC were professional and prompt in addressing everything. I will certainly be chartering from HPYC again.

I wouldn't use any other charter company for a Solent cruise. They've got a good choice of varied boats (we had a stunning Hallberg Rassy this past weekend) and they have always been in good condition with everything working well. Their service is excellent - responsive, helpful and friendly - both prior to charter and during the charter. And their prices are not bad. Can't wait to go with them again!

Had a fantastic week chartering Blue Otter, Alex was incredibly helpful and sent loads of information and date checking prior to booking. There was a handover video and both the handover and return were really smooth. The boat was lovely and well maintained and Lee was really helpful in recommending places to visit (and helping identify the steering issue as an autopilot takeover - doh!). Definitely will be back and would fully recommend!

Really enjoyed our 3 days sailing in the Solent. Hand over was easy and informative. The boat was solid and served us well. Could have done with a few more instructions for us as a relative novice. Heads operation for example. Instrumentation was good, but the log impeller was not working, not a big problem, but when reported this apparently was the case on most of the boats at this point in the season.

Took my dad for his 60th birthday in august along with 4 other crew members. Could not have asked for a better day! we booked a couple months in advance, the process was easy and the team at the charterers were beyond helpful and guided us through every step of the way. On the day, we went to the office initially and got pointed to our boat which was immaculately clean (important - especially during the pandemic). We felt totally at ease and were given an extremely helpful and knowledgeable skipper. To top it off, they even booked us a birth at the isle of wight for a spot of lunch during cowes week. No extra costs! On return, the handover was again super easy and met with great customer service. Couldn't recommend them enough and i will definitely be using this charterer in the future. Had a three night charter on Petruchio, and we were blown away by the quality of navigation equipment on board, with a while suite of brand new B+G electronics. Any issues that we had were solved straight away, and the team at hamble point were really helpful with the organising and booking of the yacht. Just back from a lovely week in the Solent. Great service from HPYC from first enquiry through to return handover. Very straightforward to deal with, and the yacht was in excellent condition. We've chartered from many companies in the UK and abroad and the attention to detail (and flawless inventory!) was second to none. Great staff who go out of their way to give a premium service and to make things even better they were cheaper than any similar boat I've chartered. Marina excellent with a great cafe/bar/restaurant serving quality food. If you want a charter go here for sure.
