After reading the reviews on this branch I was worried about visiting however, I was treated incredible, the shop was clean and an upbeat mood was felt. I was there to an exchange a dress that I had changed my mind over, which was no problem to the manager. I requested 4 dress names and was told they are waiting for me in the room. I suggest getting to the store at opening time or expect a waiting time, not sure why people complain of this, it is clear that it is a walk in shop and the assistants will give everyone a service they deserve. Also don't complain if they don't have your dress in stock... you can call ahead and check the dress stock! My assistant was knowledgeable, happy and confident. I never felt rushed at any point and was given time inside the changing room alone and asked how I felt in it. I was advised on what looked good and what didn't. There is no forcing of sale and you are given time to think and be in the dresses. Amazing service and great vibe within the store by all assistants. Thank you Southampton branch, so happy I chose to visit and purchase an absolutely stunning and high quality dress.

Had a wonderful experience at Wed2Be Southampton today, and I was fortunate enough to find THE dress! This was all thanks to Yaz who was so friendly, helpful and very skilled. She understood what sort of things I wanted to try, straightaway and had a great eye for detail and the products available. It was my first time shopping for a dress and Yaz made sure it was an exciting and fun experience. I was very uncertain but we worked through things slowly identifying what I was after. She was absolutely with me and my family for the whole journey and without such great service I doubt I would have been so confident so soon. Can’t recommend enough. A nice easy process and amazing high quality gowns. We got there at 10am ready for the 10.30am Sunday opening and I’m glad we did. Very popular store, understandably, and a line of people behind us, so get there early. Thanks again to Yaz, Jade who helped us complete the purchase and Wed2Be in general!

Found it slightly impersonal and my daughter wasn't so keen with the assistant being in the cubicle with her all the time, and found it embarrassing as she was trying to maintain her dignity. Beautiful dresses, but it was only possible to select 4 to try on, which wasn't enough for her to ensure that the one she likes is truly 'the one'

I visited on a Friday morning and the shop was lovely and quiet. I was slightly nervous before the appointment but Amy made me feel relaxed. I got to browse all the dresses in my size and didn't feel rushed. I picked 4 dresses initially and I ended up loving the second dress I tried on. It’s a great shop, so much more reasonable prices, I think the max price in there is £799. They have a lot of dresses and the staff let you try on as many as you like. There are missing some of the more obsure styles like detachable skirts and sleeved dresses that aren’t just lace, but they still have a nice selection. Veils and petticoats are a bit of a rip-off there though

I went in with absolutley 0 knowledge or expectations as an individual who doesnt wear dresses often but given the circumstances, figured a wedding dress would, y'know, be fitting for a wedding LOL Anyways, had a lovely lady by the name of Mia help me out in absolutely every manner of the word; helped me find a particular style that I liked, narrowed that down to the dress that I liked etc. whilst I floundered about with wishy-washy replies and haphazard responses. In the end, I did find #TheDress and took it home on the day. Not only was the dress affordable but so was the storage box they offered with it as well as accessories for said dress. Loved my shopping experience at Wed2b. I hadn't been wedding dress shopping myself anywhere else but had been with other people before and I think I preferred the Wed2b experience. I was welcomed in by Jemima who explained how everything worked. I cant remember the name of the lady I had for my first 4 dresses I tried on, but I had Izzy the second round. They were both so nice and so helpful. They listened to what I wanted but also suggested a few ideas, they were interested in my wedding and engagement, they bought me veils, jackets and belts to try on to get a general idea of look. I ended up getting my dress there and I love it and cant wait to wear it! I cant believe it was £550 rather than the thousands it would have cost from a boutique. Me and my mum got there quite early (about 10.30 on a Saturday) and were there until 12.30. It was starting to get busy then, so I recommend getting there early on a weekend if you don't want to wait for a fitting room (you can try 4 dresses on at a time, come out and pick another 4 and then go back in, if the fitting rooms are full you have to wait but I didn't have to wait once).

Went to the Southampton store around 11am. Was greeted straight away, shown how to sign in and and how the wed2be process works. Found 4 dresses from a list I had prepared and directed straight into a changing room. No waiting or difficulty in finding dresses. I’ve just returned from an excellent shopping experience at wed2b. The staff is were so friendly and welcomed us into the store. They very clearly explained the process and how everything worked. There was a short wait to try the dresses I had chosen but it was an enjoyable experience on a very comfortable sofa looking at bridesmaid dresses. The dressing experience was wonderful. Issy made me feel very comfortable and it was a lovely dressing experience with other brides nearby. Issy was very patient and enabled me to switch between dresses. For the final decision I was given excellent advice without any pressure to buy. I am so happy with my purchase and the whole experience at wed2b Southampton. This was my first experience with wedding dress shops but have to say that it was brilliant- you choose 4 dresses at a time and a lovely lady comes to help dress you in each one. Lizzie helped me choose the perfect wedding dress; in fact the dress I bought was the one that she picked out for me! It was the opposite of what I thought I wanted but she knew exactly what would suit me and it was absolutely gorgeous. All the staff at this store are so positive and friendly and they really help you to choose the right dress for you- also, they don't put any pressure on you to buy a dress you're not 100% happy with and they let you try on as many dresses as you want and as many times as you want. I went on a week day at 10am and there were only 2 others trying on dresses at that time so would recommend going then to get the full attention of the lovely staff! There weren't as many dresses as I thought there were going to be but there were still plenty to choose from (I ended up trying about 12 dresses on!) with different styles and sizes. Definitely come here first as not only are the dresses inexpensive but are also of an excellent quality (a seamstress told me it looked three times the price)! You also get to take home the dress on the same day , mine barely needed altering- only the length as I'm rather short! Excellent shop, wonderful staff and dresses :)

The reviews were pretty good too so I visited the Southampton branch with my mum for a casual browse. As it turned out, I found the most perfect dress at Wed2B. Jodie helped me try on and purchase my dream dress. She was really pleasant and knowledgeable on the styles/sizes, she shared excitement with me and also made my mum feel part of the experience. I had a really great experience buying my wedding dress from WED2B (Southampton) with my mum and sister. It was my first time wedding dress shopping and the girls in the store really put me at ease. Tia was brilliant, she gave me all the time I wanted looking through the amazing selection of dresses and then helped me try on my choices, all the time talking about what I liked/didn't like about them and forming an idea of what it was I wanted. She then picked out a few she thought fitted my description. She was so knowledgeable and helpful and patient and in the end we got there and I bought my dream dress! (which amazingly is a one off!) Great shop! Beats any other boutique where you have to book in advance and the pay a fortune for a dress of your dreams.The staff were super friendly and welcoming. I had a lady called Izzy take care of me. I had no intention of making a purchase, the visit was more out of curiosity as I hadn't looked at wedding dresses before. Then walah, there I had found my ideal dress. The style I loved most was just a tad too tight but Izzy was right on it, finding me another size. Overall, a great experience and would highly recommend! Now to look forward to wearing it in May!

I went in today, knowing roughly what I wanted. Everything was explained clearly, and everyone was friendly. Jodie was my dresser and I never felt any rush, or pressure to buy. Being a plus sized bride, there is always that fear of judgement, or embarrassment, and I did not feel that way at all in the shop. I tried on 5 dresses overall, and the third one was the winner. I honestly had not expected to find my dress that quickly as this was the first shop I looked at. I have never been wedding dress shopping before, and felt a bit nervous about what to expect. A really lovely lady introduced us to the shop (I wish I could remember her name, but she was a petit red head!) and handed us over to our stylist Leia. Leia helped me get into a few dresses, and made me feel really comfortable and body confident. She went over and above to find another dress of a similar style when I found one I loved that was too small. I fell completely in love with it. Leia helped by adding belts/veils/hair pieces, but I didn't feel pressured to buying anything - I felt like she really cared about making me look and feel my best. The lady who welcomed us in came over to have a look at the dress once I'd made a decision, and both of them were really lovely about it. Both my mum and I had such a good time, and at one point were both quite emotional. Thanks to both ladies for helping me find my dress and making me feel fab!

Such good value, the dresses feel as great as those I had tried in expensive boutiques (which take months to order!). I went to the Southampton store today not knowing what to expect and never having had tried a dress on! Straight away I was greeted with a smile and led to the dresses to have a look! I was then greeted by Lizzie who saw how nervous I was and straight away put me at ease I tried my first 4 dresses on and after listening to what I was saying she gave me a few suggestions to what I should try. I then tried those on and she showed me lots of options as to what I could do to make the dresses even better. + Very quiet when we arrived, which was lovely for browsing. + We could try on as many dresses as we wanted without issue + The sales assistant was patient with us and was able to recommend a dress / style which we eventually purchased (big kudos for knowing your dresses!!!) + Unrivalled choice and cheap prices, not scrimping on quality Big minus.... Although she said ‘yes’ to the dress... this ruined it a little for us. Staff had left their sales conversion figures on the side, in full display of customers. This included the name of the bride, whether they had purchased a dress, accessories etc. This then made it very difficult for us to view our particular host as authentic. It seemed that every sales tactic in the book was being laid on heavy, perhaps as we were now overtly aware due to the figures we saw. It was a real shame and totally jaded the experience for us. The sales tactics (although necessary in the bridal shop world) were way too full on. Overall a positive experience and I would return, but with the understanding to expect hard sales and the need to use the word ‘no’ a lot.

I visited this store on Friday with my mum on a last minute trip to Southampton. I didn't know what to expect seeing as it's an "off the rack" shop, and to be totally honest I didn't really expect to find anything I would like. How wrong I was! We were looked after by a lovely lady called Beatrice who treated me like I was the only bride in the shop. She didn't rush me at all and made me feel totally relaxed. I was there for over an hour, and not once did I get made to feel like I was taking too long. I can't count how many gorgeous dresses I tried on! And the worst part about my experience... The Southampton store is really well organised and the assistant gave helpful opinions and helped me put the dresses on and take them off! I went to wed2b to look at wedding dresses with my friend. My stylist was Jodie. I can not rate it highly enough. The shop was welcoming and clean and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Jodie explained how they work. You sign in your details then you can pick 4 styles of wedding dresses and try them on. And keep going if the first 4 dresses are not for you. Jodie helped me find what I was looking for even though I was nervous and not sure what I wanted. She was very polite and professional helping me climb into wedding dresses and answered all my questions. The first dress I tried on turned out to be the perfect one. They also allow payment over the phone as it was my nan who had offered to pay for the dress. I was shocked and pleased at how reasonably priced the dresses and accessories were. They package your dress and other items in a handy case as you buy and take away on the same day. They also offered for me to come back with my dress if I wanted to show any other family members. Also they supply you with a local recommended alteration list. A truly comfortable and enjoyable afternoon. And I came away with my dream dress. Many thanks to Jodie and the other shop staff for excellent service. Would highly recommend to my friends and family.

I wasn't too sure about getting my dress from here but omg! I got the same amazing shopping experience I would in a very expensive bridal boutique, found the dress of my dreams and Jodie who helped me the three times I went to try the dress was more than amazing. The quality of the dress is unbelievable and i spend £400 in total including complements. Couldn't be happier!

Nice large space with plenty of gowns in a range of sizes. It's a good place to go if you need to narrow down your initial dress search. It was tidy and well laid out, with a few different styles being shown and nice displays. The staff are helpful and friendly, they know about the ranges of gowns offered and guide without pushing. The way it works, is you pick out 4 gowns, then they basically put your dresses in line for the next available trying on slot. We had about a 40 min wait from when we selected the dresses, so enough time to go a get a coffee. It's a great shop for those on a budget and those who have no idea what they may want. I'd recommend parking in West Quay / IKEA, and walking through to the shop.

A special Thankyou and shout out to Hollie who helped me through the day and in and out of dresses. Hollie was very lovely and truthful. Shopping here was pure magic. It was a spontaneous decision to visit, my mum and I walked past and thought 'why not?", got to start somewhere! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the lovely Izzy. We gave her some idea of what I liked, but emphasised how nervous and unsure I was about what would suit me. We picked a few to start with, at no point did I feel embarrassed, rushed or pressured. After trying on three dresses and finding elements I loved in all of them, the manager (Tamara I think her name was?) popped round to see how we were doing. After explaining the bits I liked and didn't like, she rushed off and brought over another dress. On the hanger it was stunning and I had a feeling as soon as it was taken out the bag. Izzy helped me into it, and I couldn't believe it. They had found my dress. I frantically ran through a checklist in my head to find something wrong with it, but I just couldn't. It was a complete shock, the whole experience was a dream come true. Tamara was just like my own Randy from the Say Yes to the Dress TV show!!! However, I was a little at war with myself. Where the trip had just meant to be a bit of fun, my sister (who works on cruise ships) wasn't there with us. I was so conflicted, as I knew it was my dress but didn't want to say yes without her. The wonderful staff were so kind, they let me come back the week after and repeat the fitting, so my sister didn't miss out on the experience. The two visits I made to the shop, I will never forget. We had excellent service at Wed2b Southampton today. It had been recommended to me by some friends who had got their dresses in London but Southampton was closer so we decided to try there. And I was not disappointed. We arrived early and were first seen by Ellie who was very accommodating and made recommendations as needed which were excellent! The dress I wanted in my size wasnt in the first 4 dresses I had taken in so after I found it and waited for my slot my bridesmaids and the mums and I went to look at the lovely bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dresses upstairs. We were then called and tried a few more on... this time I was seen by Ruby! Ruby was great she really listened to what I wanted and reminded me to not get carried away with what the clan wanted! When the curtain was closed we were able to have a chat about what I liked and didn't like about the dress and accessories! She helped all along the way and was really personable! She has a great eye for styles and knew when I wasn't happy. She talked me through everything and was great and very patient...I went back to the same dress 3 times! She took us to the desk to purchase and saw us to the door. The shop also looked after the dress while we went for food which I thought was amazing!! As we didn't want to carry it around town!
