R. R.I had attended two weddings at Alrewas Hayes and loved the venue. After getting engaged in 2019, I went to view the venue and can’t believe I booked it for my own wedding.
The venue is stunning and just cannot be compared to local venues. The venue is so versatile and it was clear to me that two weddings held at Alrewas Hayes cannot be compared.
I loved that the venue was exclusively ours for the day - this meant I was able to utilise the space and ended up using the orangery for my civil ceremony, the lakeside marquee for an afternoon tea, the courtyard for a canapé drinks reception and the great barn for a huge reception party.
The venue is so pretty that it can require as little or as much decoration as you want. Bonnie and Toby are always investing in the upkeep of the venue and are always adding new features to keep the venue ahead of its time. All of my guests loved the venue.
My husband and I booked the honeymoon suite. I highly recommend this for all couples. We came down in the morning to breakfast and the honeymoon treatment allowed us to hold onto the buzz we had from the wedding. We felt so spoilt and of course - breakfast was delicious!
Unfortunately my original wedding day was booked during the first lockdown but Bonnie and Toby would always respond to any emails promptly to rearrange. Whenever I needed a chat, they were always happy to give me their time and speak with me on the phone. Regardless of how bad the situation got as a result of Covid, Bonnie always remained positive and passionate to ensure I felt valued and remained excited as a bride. They honestly did everything they could have to work with me and remain flexible to ensure that I got the wedding I originally planned for or where I choose to go ahead with restriction, the closest thing to what we planned.
The day was absolutely special because of this. I cannot recommend the venue enough and I cannot thank the team at Alrewas Hayes for all that they did to make my wedding special and important.

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. It is so private, gorgeous and grand, yet still has a real 'homely' feel to it, which we and our guests all fell in love with. The accommodation is stunning, there are endless photo backdrops, and the actual interior is incredible. The decor of the entire place is just amazing.
One of our favourite parts of getting married here was our meal tasting night, which was put on like a big event in itself. The team couldn't do enough for us and the other couples, and the food was out of this world, as were the drinks. We had so many compliments on the day about the food - both day and night offerings, and the wines.
On our actual wedding day, everything was perfect, and that's all down to the Alrewas team, but especially Emma, our wedding planner. Emma was an absolute godsend during the build up to the wedding, and she's just a genuinely lovely girl - I always enjoyed our chats! She had great suggestions for suppliers and ideas, and I really valued her opinion. On the wedding day, she ensured everything ran perfectly, and it was so reassuring knowing she was there and had it all under control. Tom also made both our meal tasting and wedding day so special, and his knowledge of wines is highly impressive - we were so grateful for all of his advice! Bonnie and Toby were also another big reason we fell in love with this venue, as their genuine care and passion for the events they hold is so evident - even down to being present and serving drinks at our wedding! We loved the homely/family vibe that really shone at Alrewas, and that stemmed from them entirely. We are so grateful to you all, and the rest of your fantastic team for giving us the best day of our lives - you're all incredible at what you do! Thank you a million times over! X

Large amount of craft stalls...lovely ambiance..quality goods..teepees were a great addition along with the firepit and bar! Baileys hot chocolate was a pure delight! Extremely busy..have to be prepared to queue at times! Great afternoon out!

Pre-event admin was excellent; event itself was tremendous with a beautifully decorated marquee, very helpful (and obviously well trained staff), and excellent food. The bedrooms at the venue are also very good, as is the breakfast.
I can’t think of anything at all that we would have wanted to be better.
Would we use again - you bet!!

Everything was perfect, we had so many compliments on how amazing the wedding was, partly due to how smooth everything ran, for example - no waiting time at the bar, food came out on time and everyone served at the same time, food was pipping hot. We'd like to send a special thank you to Gemma, our planner on the day and run up to the wedding - She was absolutely perfect, her effort, her attitude, her presence, her energy on our wedding day was amazing we will forever be grateful for all her support on the day.

A perfect venue for a special wedding day

C.Such a beautiful place, gorgeous setting for a Christmas Market - it was extremely busy though and I think it could do with some better entrances and to use the place where they had tea/coffee and vip area to hold the stallholders area as it seemed a much bigger area. Beautiful market though and some very lovely food available to buy. We had a great day!

G. Y.We'd booked our tickets for the Xmas Market and had awoken to a blizzard outside. We decided to risk it as this was our first visit and so pleased that we did. Great range of artisan goods being offered by around 60 local businesses. Full marks to everyone involved for faultless organisation in far from ideal conditions. Particularly impressed with the Tea Room area and the way they'd projected Winter Wonderland scenes onto all the walls. It's in our Calendar for next year 👍

S. A.What an incredible place. I cannot recommend Alrewas Hayes highly enough. We were so lucky to get married here last week and we couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue. Emma and Amie were outstanding - the friendliest, smiliest girls - who made you feel like nothing was too much trouble. They helped us through everything and made our day run perfectly. We postponed our wedding twice due to Covid and Bonnie and Toby were just so understanding about everything. They couldn’t have been more accommodating.
On the day, every single person from the waiting staff to the bar staff were so friendly and made our guests feel so welcome. It was just such a lovely atmosphere and everyone felt completely at ease.
It is the most beautiful setting and the photo opportunities are spectacular. Just the most amazing place.
We just want to say a massive thank you to the incredible team behind Alrewas Hayes and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our day so special. You are all utterly brilliant. Xxx

A. W.Great place for a wedding! 💗 The staff is friendly, dedicated, and very professional! The green area around the venue is huge and has a lot of potential! There is a car park on side, and easy access for everyone, even for a wheelchair. The food is delicious!

Fabulous rooms, amazing food, and the Team were so accommodating, nothing was too much bother - our stay there was a total pleasure.

Ceremony room did get rather hot & would have been good idea if they had opened the doors leading to the terrace.House made a beautiful back drop for the wedding photos. Marquee was dressed to perfection, bar staff were on the ball. Food was delicious. The weather was lovely so the wedding guests could enjoy the well manicured grounds & enjoy mingling on the terrace. T. H.Went to a wedding there. Njoyed the location as it was quiet. They have a fairly big marquee and dance floor. A good inner courtyard with wheel chair access. The meal wasn't great as I always find places like this try to be like top London restaurants. Just use simple foods instead. Drinks are expensive, pink gin with lemonade and a beer £9. Another round was £24 for a double archers - double pink gin with lemonade and a bottle of carona and a bottle of Becks.
Don't know what the rooms are like as we didn't stop. Gents toilets were posh but very small, as you did your thing and then turned round to face the sinks to wash and you only had to take 2 steps.
r. b.Beautiful venue with loving surroundings makes an ideal location for a wedding or large event such as a charity ball. Unfortunately you pay for the privilege of being here and by that I mean food and drink is vastly overpriced; if you have money to spend this is the place to go.
