r. p.Painty is totally fab. I was very unsure about going to an event as I couldn't draw or paint and i was nervous in attempting one. With Craig Gilmans great teaching skills and step by step instructions I was successful in my painting. It is also a good event to go on your own and friendships can be made.
I recommend it highly for everyone to have a go!!
B. W.Love these Painty events! We go to the one at Portofino in Hanley and it is so much fun. Very laid-back and friendly with great food. We were a little nervous the first time - as we hadn't painted anything since school, but Craig put us at ease right away. He has a very calming, light-hearted way of guiding you through the chosen painting each time. You can follow him - or try your own style - he doesn't mind. We got a few canvasses now that we are quite pleased with :-) I think our favourite one is the Lowry-inspired Stoke potbank scene! Try it yourself and bring out your inner-artist!
