Everyone should get their wedding dress from Chic & Elegant, Linda is a visionary! She just knew the best dress for me, she listened to what ideas I had for a dress, we tried on many styles, then she took me out of my comfort zone and chose a dress she thought would suit me and it was the dress of my dreams! My sister got her dress from Linda over 15 years ago and she was just as fantastic then! Both my and my other sister have our dresses from Linda now. Her shop is fantastic, a beautiful space and she makes you feel like you are a supermodel. Thank you Linda. I'm so glad I came to you ❤️

I remember the day I met Linda and found my dress like it was yesterday. It was a few years ago as my wedding was postponed in 2020. I told Linda what I was looking for, she understood and my dress was the first dress she picked out for me. I loved it but as I’m a perfectionist, I had to have a think and try some other dresses on at other shops first. Linda was completely understanding about this and there was no pressure to purchase. A few weeks later I returned and fell in love with the dress all over again and knew it was the one for me! From day one up until the day I picked up my dress ready for my wedding finally in July 2021, Linda was so helpful, kind, honest, happy and funny (lol). Linda will go above and beyond to make you look perfect (just the way I like lol). She has her own seamstresses’s that can do all the alterations. Heather did mine and she did them perfectly, especially the opened back area which fitted like a glove! I absolutely love my dress and will never forget Linda who made the experience enjoyable and pleasant. Thank you Linda! X x

Linda is the warmest most welcoming lady and her professionalism is second to none. She knows exactly what suits the bride to be and selects the dresses accordingly. She is never pushy. We only had 8 weeks to organise a wedding for my daughter and we didn't hesitate to go to Chic and Elegant after already having bought a dress for another daughter's wedding. Where do I start! I arrived at Linda’s shop unannounced, hadn’t booked an appointment but she welcomed my mum and I in to have a look. When we spoke about wedding dresses she seemed to know exactly what I wanted and even had the dress I had seen online. I returned again with a few people from my bridal party and showed the dresses I had previously tried on plus a few others. I knew instantly that I had found my dress. Linda told me to look around before I bought which I did straight after the appointment and within an hour I was back paying for my dream dress. Linda and the staff at the shop are amazing. They have gone the extra mile for me especially when I was left down by another shop, so close to my special day. I can’t thank Linda and Chris for all the work they have done but most importantly how Linda helped me to find my dream dress and make me look like a princess on my day. Thank you so much xx

Where do I even start with my lovely Linda. From the first moment I met her she was the kindest woman I’d ever met and nothing was ever too much of an ask. I had visited a few other bridal shops prior to my visit to Chic and Elegant and the customer service I experienced was nothing like the welcome that Linda showed myself and my family. Other shop owners tended to be quite pushy and i felt pressurised to make a purchase on many occasions but with Linda I felt immediately at ease. I even left the shop after trying my dress for a think over some lunch which Linda was not only supportive of but encouraged me to do to be 100% it was the dress for me - only to run back up to the shop seconds before she closed to say yes to my dress. My dress was the first I’d tried on in the shop and I believe it was meant to be. The perfect fit - both the dress and Linda ❤️

I honestly don't know where to start when writing this...I feel like Linda made the whole experience of finding my dress truly special. I got recommended Chic & Elegant by someone who worked with my mum, so was a little dubious as it wasn't a close friend but didn't know where to start so thought why not?? From the moment I walked in Linda and her staff were welcoming warm, friendly and down to earth. Questions were asked 'What do you have in mind?' 'Do you like a bit of sparkle?' And I honestly didn't know. As a women who never dreamed of a big day, or said 'When i get married'... Linda helped me choose a range of dresses but soon within 2-3 minutes could identify the style and type of dress that would suit my personality. She suggested 'THE DRESS' which was a satin sweetheart dress with a long train. I thought it might be a little plain but she added on a lace jacket/top and belt and the dress was transformed. Throughout the process there were a few hiccups (mostly my own from loosing a stone so the dress needed many alterations) i think i visited at least 7 times if not more. Every visit was like the first, and I was made to feel so incredibly special. I think what makes Chic & Elegant stand out from the rest is that Linda becomes part of the wedding party and is lovely and caring and it s completely sincere. In addition, every visit you have the shop floor completely to yourself with no prying eyes and this is very rare. Its such a lovely experience choosing your dress and I couldn't have asked for better. My only upset is that I can't do it all over again. Thank You so much Linda and staff

Well where do I start, Chic and Elegant was recommended to me by a friend who had previously bought her dress from here, her words to me were you'll go into the shop and walk out with your dress and that's exactly what happened. I called Chic and Elegant and booked an appointed, I immediately felt at ease just hearing the most friendly, bubbly voice at the other end of the phone. Once arriving at my appointment I was greater by the lovely Linda, she was like a Ray of sunshine full of energy and just as excited as I was to find my dress, this lady knows her stuff, after trying on a number of dresses Linda picked one dress and asked me to try it on, adding a belt, head piece and veil (that I was never going to have 😁) I turned around to see the finished product I finally said yes to the dress, a few weeks later we came back to choose my bridesmaid dresses going in with one colour in mind and coming out with something completely different and ending up changing my whole colour scheme thanks to Linda's brilliant mind. I can not thank or praise this lady enough my girls and I looked absolutely breathtaking on the Day. Linda's knowledge and experience when dealing with Brides is second to none I would and have recommended her time and time again to anyone wanting to find they're perfect dress I had no issues with mine nor my bridesmaid dresses it was plain sailing and stress free from start to finish. Linda was amazing after only 5 dresses that I picked and tried on Linda asked me to try on a dress that she believed would suit me. . . turned out to be my dress . . Linda is an angel... She one hundred percent knows everything about making your day and dress special. Suggested a dress for me to try that was different from everything I was trying on, even champagne instead of the typical white and I fell in love instantly! Well let's start I came across chic and elegant by chance as we saw a stunning dress in the window so we decided to ask if they had any available appointments for that day and to our luck they had one later that afternoon so we booked in and went to an appointment I had just down the road after finding nothing and having tried the dress I thought would be the dress and it looking terrible on me.
