Reviews of Novum AV

British Gymnastics and Novum have a very close working relationship which has continued for over 10 years, servicing a wide variety of gymnastics related events including competitions, festivals and awards dinners.
During this time Tim and his team consistently demonstrate an incredibly high level of professionalism and technical knowledge, and always strive to achieve exceptional service often going over and above the call of duty to help resolve situations which are not strictly within their contractual obligations. It is clear from working with the Novum team over this time that they operate to the highest standards of quality and integrity, a theme that is pervasive throughout everything they do.
It is a real pleasure to work with Novum on all our events, and the collaboration is such that it feels as though we are working with an extension of our own events team. Communication throughout the planning stages of our events is excellent which gives us immense confidence that each time at time of event delivery everything will go exactly as planned.
I would have absolutely no hesitation to recommend Tim and the Novum team to anybody looking for an AV company with the highest level of service, quality, and attention to detail.

We got in touch with Novum on about 3 weeks notice to do AV and lighting for a one-day event in a 1200-person venue in London, including scaffold raising for speakers and lighting, and audio and video mixing for live broadcast and recording. Within about half a week we'd gone around the venue and been provided with an initial floor plan based on the venue's CAD, along with 3D mockups of the layout and lighting, giving us the opportunity to have things tweaked to better meet the overall feel we wanted for our event. Prior to the event they were very productive and flexible in meeting all of our core wants and needs, while (mostly!) keeping to a decent budget, and communicated promptly and thoroughly with us.
At the venue, just about the whole team was professional, eager to please, and invested in the success of our event. Technical issues that have plagued us for years at previous events were caught and resolved, and they made sure to have a detailed idea of the requirements for a long and varied stage schedule, keeping things smooth even when the schedule itself changed. Josh on lighting got the feel we wanted basically spot on and our photographer was glowing about how easy it made her job, Tim and Dan gave our band a sound their fan club tells us is the best they've ever sounded, and Charlotte had things smooth enough in the separate panel room that we never really heard about it until after the event. Paul on video went above and beyond, bringing a GoPro unprompted in an attempt to improve our video offering, and coaching our cameraman when it came to the events that really mattered to us.
The only real issue we had that could be attributed to them was that the PC packages they brought were missing headsets, but this was resolved by the start of show day, and Tim was apologetic and professional about the whole thing. Overall, our event was a big success, and we have a lot of good recorded material that we can use moving forward.
Post-event, Tim and Paul have been eager to keep in touch, and have followed our event at least long enough to post their own photos. The impression we got of Novum on our first event with them is that of a friendly, knowledgable and professional group that can produce great results at short notice, who take pride in the work they do, and will do what it takes to make an event a success. Budget permitting, we'd love to work with them in the future!

Couldn't recommend any higher. This is the best production company I have used in the UK. They have run concerts for me in many different venues and have transformed rooms and halls to fit all of the crazy ideas we threw at them.
Friendly, Quality and have a great crew! Not only do they achieve what you ask them to do, they get involved in your vision and help make what you want to a level you didn't know was capable.
Tim Jacques, their Commercial Director not only is kind, hard working and has a great sense of homour but is the best Front-Of-House engineer I have every worked with and witnessed.
They have also done instals in old church buildings that I help manage and did it to a excellent level!

We asked Novum to install a screen, loop system, projector and PA system from scratch in a 14th century church building. The result was great; the guys doing the install knew what they were doing, turned up when they said they would, recommended just the right kit and installed is effectively.
We would thoroughly recommend them.

To all who it may concern, This company is one of the best that you could use.
I have worked alongside the crew and staff in the audio visual industry for over twenty years and I can honestly say that Tony Cant, who was The MD, is one of the fairest and understanding people I have ever met. After I left Onview Presentation services in 1999, where I was a project manager, I went to America to pursue the then new sport of paintball.
I was subjected to having my drink spiked in a club shortly after my arrival and was the victim of gay gang rape in the carpark of the club. I was found by passers by who called the authorities. This incident was terribly traumatic and I came back to the uk to start fresh. Tony took me on in Gearhouse, who later became MCL CREATE, and helped me to overcome what had happened to me. A man's anal vaginity is a very personal thing and after being so brutally defiled it took many counciling sessions to come to terms with my ordeal.
Tony and the staff at mcl who are now at NOVUM, where there for me after my life got torn apart.
I just want to say thank you Tony, thank you so much for being there for me as well as my other work and social friends.

Love working with Novum, always deliver over and above what is required, very easy to work with and very competitively priced.
Only wish I had more events I could book them for!
