Reviews of Exotic Zoo Wildlife Park

Absolutely one of the best days out I have ever experienced. This zoo is such a hidden gem. My boyfriend and I went today for the Lemur experience, which was a birthday present. We were both just over the moon. We got a whole box of sliced up banana and dried fruits to give to them. They were so adorable taking it from our hands and climbing over us. So soft too! Never imagined a lemur to be as soft. The zoo keeper that came in with us was also so lovely, answered any questions we had and also told us in general about the lemurs, how long they had them and what they are like.
After our experience we spent a couple more hours walking around the zoo. It is a pretty small place, but I think for me that made it so much better. There are zoo keepers all around, and regular feedings so that you can learn about the animals and watch them as they scramble around for their food - so very cute! It was like having a personalised tour around the place, but it was just for everyone to experience!
Would absolutely love to come back here again for one of the other experiences they hold. You can really tell how happy the animals are, and how much the keepers care about them. 10/10 recommend!!

Had a lovely visit out over the jubilee weekend. You can see they are still expanding and the enclosures and exhibits already in place are brilliant. The animals are adorable and staff so friendly. Especially love Edwina the tortoise and the Marmosets, so inquisitive. Would recommend for sure.

Had a fox experience today, which was my moms Xmas present off me, so 4 of us went, had such a lovely day, Yogi & Freya the foxes were amazing, their handler Ryan was great, very friendly. The lady on front desk was really polite an friendly also, well actually every worker we spoke to or passed was all lovely an friendly. Plenty of animals, plenty of fusses an strokes. Most animals are rescues. They are always expanding an updating the zoo for the benefit of the animals. We will definitely be going back again x

Great little wildlife park. Although small it has a decent selection of animals, bugs, reptiles. The keepers freely answered any questions about their animals which was a refreshing change compared to other parks where you just look and get minimal information.and the admission fee at £7.00 per adult fantastic value

Had a fantastic time finally redeeming the fox experience voucher we bought years ago, the keeper was knowledgable and answered all of our questions. It's was a fabulous half an hour, getting to feed Freya from my lap was a highlight. Would also recommend the rest of the park, it's very hands on and lots of experiences for both adults and children to enjoy.

Had an amazing time at the Exotic zoo this week. Big thanks to Emma, who helped us with the 'meet an armadillo' experience. Everyone was very friendly and kind, a great day out!

Moved location and recently opened. All nice and clean, great location and surroundings. Animals look well cared for and staff are very informative and friendly. Lovely touch that they allow you to get up close and even touch some of the animals. However I did feel that during this time visitor numbers need reducing. I felt very claustrophobic and anxious due to the amount of people considering the actual place is relatively small even though it's mainly all outside. I think also having people to queue up in turn to see and touch the animals close up would be a great idea. You feel you have to just jump in quick otherwise waiting patiently for your turn just gets ignored. I would of loved to have stayed longer but because of all the people I felt like I couldn't wait to leave. It's great value for money and I do really want to come back again but I think I'll wait until everything and everyone has calmed down.

Absolutely loved it, first time I think I've ever seen everything in a zoo, nothing was hiding away 🤣 kids got to touch lots of different animals and I had hugs with a goat, 2 adults and 2 kids plus 4 bags of food cost me about the same as 1 adult ticket at my local zoo

Lovely hidden little gem. Really enjoyed our visit got to see and pet the animals. Worth the £6 entry and looks lovely. Staff were friendly and informative. Only downfall would be the limited parking spaces available. But overall a fab experience and will definitely return

We can for the fox experience and what a wonderful experience it was!
Very quiet and laid back, the foxes appeared super chill and happy for a feed. Simon was knowledgeable and able to answer all questions we had about the pair.
The rest of the zoo was great and good for anyone with children, with good height windows at all enclosures. As two adults the zoo took around an hour and a half.

Met the absolutely beautiful Freya and the extremely handsome Yogi today for the Fox experience as a gift for my Dads 70th. It was an absolutely amazing once in a lifetime experience which we will never forget. Thank you Ryan for introducing us to these amazing creatures, you should be very proud of all the work you have done with them and for providing such a wonderful experience.
The rest of the Zoo is just as amazing and we got to meet and have a cuddle with the littlest Skunk too which was an added bonus.
Looking forward to visiting again.

We love this place! We went last week and returned today and did the Meerkat Experience, it was AMAZING! They have an excellent sale/offer on at the moment on experiences too! The staff are so friendly there and our keeper during the experience today was so knowledgeable, it just added that something 'extra' to the whole thing. Having staff around the place with animals you can meet, stroke/touch and ask questions about, also makes the trip worthwhile. A small, well-run zoo. Definitely recommend.

Great morning out. Saw lots of animals, some up close. Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Had an amazing afternoon. The new cafe is lovely too.

A super day at Exotic Zoo for us both; thoroughly enjoyed the meerkat experience with Kirsten and the fox experience with Ryan - very insightful and eager to help, with a genuine 'up close' experience! Would absolutely recommend!

We've had so many wonderful days at this wonderful zoo. The carers are all so lovely and the animals all so interesting! We had armadillo experience as a gift and it was the best couple of hours ever! My little boy regularly spends days there learning about reptiles, wallaby, rabbits... he's always coming home with a new fact! The move has really suited you and we can't wait to follow you for new adventures!

Was lucky enough to do the zookeeper experience and can't rate it highly enough! An absolutely fabulous day and really kind, knowledgeable (and patient!) members of staff who put the animals first while still making sure that we had a great time and learnt a lot.

Nice little zoo. Staff always ready talk to about the animals. Look forward to seeing new additions to the zoo

Absolutely amazing experience, thank you so much to the staff for helping me organise this at last minute. I paid extra for the meerkat experience and it was worth every penny but standard entry is very reasonable for what you get, the place is clean and tidy and has great facilities. The lady who did the meerkat talk had a wealth of knowledge and made it so interesting, one of the best animal experiences i have ever done, my little girl was amazed and had the best time ever, thank you to all the staff again, we hope to be back soon. Lovely little zoo with plenty to see. We went on a rainy day but still had a great time.
All the paths are good gravel so no mud. Loads of bins everywhere so no litter around at all.
Been to loads loads of zoo but saw animals that I had never seen before here.
A cup of tea for £1.50 was very good unlike £3 charged at other places.
Deffo going back when the weather is better. Admission price was very good too.
Had a fantastic time, thank you.

Stumbled upon this zoo when visiting Telford Town Park. It's a nice, small and upcoming zoo. Can easily view how its going to change and expand in the years to come. We really enjoyed seeing the animals, with opportunities available to stroke some, and they appeared to be well looked after. The rabbit walk through was good, too. Staff were friendly.
However, a particular member of staff seemed to lack knowledge in the animal which they were allowing people to stroke. I asked how old the animal was and what country it originated from. The staff member told me that they did not know. Shame, when these are basic questions. Also, the price appears to have increased. For an approximate 1-1.5hr visit, I feel it was a little overpriced. However, I am aware that they have to make enough to provide for the upkeep of the zoo.
