I absolutely loved my shopping experience here. It can be a bit stressful trying on loads of styles, and I was a bit nervous but Annabelle made it a fun and enjoyable experience. I had the best wedding day and loved the way Annabelle helped me alter the style of the dress to suit me and tailor it to my needs. Thanks to the alterations team also! Would highly recommend this store.

Best service I have experienced! I got helped with putting on different dresses and the lady even found alternatives for me to try on and some other dresses that she thought would suit me. I now have my wedding dress thanks to her. Thank you so much Annabelle! 23/02/22- I had an appointment for 11 and when me and 2 of my bridesmaids were nearly there, i got a call saying that most of the stylists have called in sick but Bethany still let us have a look around and then an hour later she started measuring my bridesmaids! I was a bit late for my appointment due to motorway traffic but I was still welcomed with no issues. My First dress fitting with Shelley. I explained I don’t wear dresses and was a bit uncomfortable trying on dresses. She had great energy and made me feel comfortable immediately. She even managed to get me in things well out of my comfort zone. She knew exactly what I was picturing when I explained the venue. I left feeling really happy with my experience and didn’t hesitate to rebook the following week to try on my favourite dress and a few more. Highly recommend David’s bridal.

We had such a good experience here at the weekend. Went for bridesmaids dresses. Our consultant Freya was helpful for all four of us, showing us all different dresses in the colour we’d decided on. She was really knowledgeable and friendly and made the whole process even more fun. We found some beautiful dresses in the end and got them ordered no problem. Dresses to fit and flatter all body types, short, tall, small and large and so it was really easy to find ‘the one’. The shop was super busy but it all went smoothly. Would definitely recommend this! I had such a great experience with David's Bridal. I went in on 3 separate occasions searching for my wedding & bridesmaids dresses and both Gina and Kathleen were amazing. They couldn't have been more attentive if they tried, nothing was too much hassle, and they really seemed to understand and care about what I wanted, which made the whole experience so easy and comfortable. We went to David's Bridal Watford to look for bridesmaids dresses towards closing time on a Sunday, without an appointment. This was after months of failing to find a suitable bridesmaid dress elsewhere. When we arrived, we were kindly assisted by Leona. She was extremely helpful and accommodating, listening to our situation and preferences, giving useful advice and helping us to find several suitable bridesmaid dress options that we all really liked. Leona and Shelley allowed me to try the dresses on without an appointment, made me feel very comfortable doing so, and even stayed late to offer good advice and answer all of our questions. We will be back with an appointment and the full bridal party to try on and purchase our bridesmaids dresses in the near future and will definitely be requesting Leona. 5-star customer service and a great store.

I had the most amazing experience at Davids. They had a great selection with generous sizing. Annabelle was fantastic, she knew exactly what I was after and was so calm and kind. I never thought the experience would be so easy, stress free and even enjoyable. You get an in house appointment, no deposit and no one messing you around. We had such a great experience here. We were served by Amy who was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable, she was absolutely brilliant. I had called ahead to explain what I wanted and they’d put it aside for me and were really prepared for me coming which I thought was brilliant! I had my first Bridal fitting at David’s Bridal in Watford today. In the days preceding I was very anxious about fitting on dresses of a larger size… All the usual dreads.. will they have a dress that fits me.. will they have dresses I like… how am I going to feel. From the minute I walked in the door I was greeted with happy, professional staff that made me feel like a million pounds!! Beth was my stylist and she went above and beyond her duty ensuring I had a lovely selection of dresses to try on… that fitted perfect (almost) and matched shoes and the most outstanding veil!!! I would highly recommend David’s Bridal, and all the staff - as other members including management were so complimentary and got involved. Really looking forward to going back for my 2nd fitting!!! The brands, the large amount of stock, the styles and the staff were 10/10… you won’t be disappointed!!

Had a great morning helping my friend find her bridesmaid dress for my wedding. Unfortunately due to illness, the shop was unexpectedly short with Consultants however Soolmaz stepped in to assist us! Having only been there 3 weeks, she did a great job and we found the perfect dress! This is my second visit for dresses and both times I've had really professional, positive service. I very unexpectedly had the most amazing experience and found THE dress. I went in with my mum and made of honour to try on some dress styles, Julie was amazing! My experience at David‘s Bridal this week was outstanding! 🥰 Starting from the appointment booking process on the website which was very quick and easy, to the very end where we have been sent off with smiling faces made not just me, the bride, happy but also my family who came along with me for the wedding dress consultation! We were welcomed with smiling faces and after filling in the form we were immediately welcomed by the lovely stylist Annabelle. Annabelle was very attentive to my ideas of a perfect wedding dress and was able to suggest some amazing pieces from various collections to me. This was my first experience trying on wedding dresses (for myself) and I was a bit nervous but Annabelle was great, made me feel at ease and explained how it would work, showed my mum and I around the dresses and was supportive and complimentary when I was trying them on. She brought over some other dresses she thought I would suit which I appreciated as I wanted to get a view on a range of styles. Just a small grumble about the short notice change of appointment time but understand sometimes that can’t be helped.

great customer service from Shelly. She went out of her way to get my problem resolved. I needed a bridesmaid dress in Iris for a wedding in December. None of the UK stores had them in stock. It would need to be ordered in which could take up to 20 weeks! Shelly worked her magic and manged to find me one in the original style I wanted! which will arrive in time! Elisa, my stylist, was a superstar today!!!! I took my toddler with me in a buggy- Elisa made sure we were accommodated in a large changing room to fit the buggy which made my life sooo much easier. We had an appointment booked for prom dress shopping and was helped by Jen. She was incredibly helpful, friendly and full of good advice. We did manage to find a dress thankfully in the colour of choice. Although they were unable to carry out the alterations themselves due to brides dresses having priority in the time (naturally), advice was given on what was required for the alterations and the offer of a full refund if we were unable to get it altered in time. I would definitely recommend and I’d go back for any future special occasion wear!

Amy was absolutely incredible today. It was my first bridal fitting and she made me feel so relaxed and at ease. I have no complaints about the person helping us or those working in the store apart from the fact they are unable to give a decent service due to a lack of staff. I'm very glad I took my daughters with me. However, as a mother of the bride the choice of clothes was appalling. I particularly picked this shop because of the website dresses. Your excuse for holding precisely none was explained as 'that's our American website, we don't have any of those dresses in the UK and it takes weeks to get them over here'. Yet it is that website much of your appointments will be coming from. 90% of your bride's mother's offers were full length and in an evening style. I have to say, in 50 yrs of attending various weddings I have never seen any mother of the bride in a full length ball gown. I ended up buying the only dress in the shop that was available to me because it was very nice however, and am disappointed in the lack of choice. Thank you for your response below, I have nothing more to add except to suggest every dress not available in the UK without x amount of weeks notice should be written on the US website in my opinion. It sadly wasn't the pleasant experience I had been looking forward to.

What a fantastic experience I've had today! I brought along quite a large group (my 10 yo daughter, mum, future MIL, MoH and bridesmaid). We were first greeted with huge smiles and immediately felt welcome and at ease. I was a little nervous, but Sabrina made me feel calm and she spent lots of her time making sure my first bridal appointment was a pleasant one. She went above and beyond for me, and everyone I came with was extremely impressed with her! I cannot thank her enough because I came in really not knowing what I wanted, and I tried on lots of dresses (Alines, fiahtails, sheath, crepe, satin, lace, tulle...) she obviously was taking mental notes on all of the bits and pieces I loved about each of the different dresses, and right at the very end she managed to find a dress that had all the little things I loved on one dress!! The dress was perfect!! I love it! Thank you, Sabrina, for all your hard work today!! It was such a fantastic experience and you were so accommodating and happy to run around after us all! :) I hope you have a very well deserved rest this evening! The team at David's are brilliant and I've had a really good experience every time I've been in. I was a little worried about finding a dress (especially as a plus sized bride) but the team have completely put me at ease. Gina helped me find my dress and gave some great advice. Kathleen helped one of my bridesmaids find a dress after an online seller (not David's) let her down last minute. She was so helpful and the appointment went by very quickly! I had my alterations appointment with Despina and Richa who were both absolutely amazing, gave excellent advice and suggestions for alterations. I would definitely recommend!

I brought my wedding dress from David’s Bridal and after having a terrible experience in another bridal shop, I was really looked after and loved picking my dress. I absolutely loved the one I picked and was perfect for me. I enjoyed the experience in the store (Watford) and all the staff were really friendly and polite. My only negative experience was when it came to my fitting and dress pick up. The communication within the seamstress department was absolutely painful. The first fitter was really good. I had put on some weight due to a year delay on my wedding so she worked out I needed the sides taking out a little, and a corset tie up added to the back. She really put me at ease. When I came back 5-6 weeks later, there was a load of issues: We waited 20 minutes then was told the seamstresses were still working on my dress! After having it for 5-6 weeks. They said they needed another half hour but waited until 6.10 to go in following a 5pm appointment. The panel was too small and the sides of the dress hadn’t been opened. After complaining the seamstress came down and said they wouldn’t take the side panels out due to the material. Why wasn’t I communicated this? I would have come in earlier than 5-6 weeks to try again and work another resolve. The back panel was too small and also wouldn’t do up. I’m a bigger girl, I didn’t want my dress pulled tight to be uncomfortable on the day. I wanted it to fit and tie nicely. We also found out I was charged for a hem lift when I didn’t even need it. I’m tall so the dress was a perfect length for me. We eventually left and was booked in to come back the Friday after. When we walked out over 2 hours later at 7.10pm, there were at least 3 women waiting for their 6pm appointment and didn’t seem happy. On the Thursday, I got a call to say the shop had a lot of cases of COVID and they had to get staff in from other stores to help with the work. This meant they had to move my appointment to Monday - 2 days before I was due to fly for my abroad wedding, a date which they were always aware of. I was paranoid the work needed wouldn’t be communicated properly again so I called up on the Friday or Saturday and wanted to relay the work again. The girl I spoke to said it would be and tried to reassure me. When we came back on the Monday. There were still issues with the dress - just as I had pre-empted, the notes from the fitter had been misread again and the work not done right. The corset panel had been lengthened but not widened. I still couldn’t do it up. I was beyond exhausted at this point, especially as the seamstress said I could come back the next day, a day before my holiday, and a 2 hour return journey for me each time I had to come back. Eventually the lady said she would take it upstairs and sort whilst we waited. An extra part of the panel was stitched on, and luckily covered up by the tie ribbon. On my final pick up day, Sophie from the Westfield Flagship store was on duty and was an immense help and support, along with the fitter on the day. She even brought us in ice creams as it was the hottest day of the year whilst we waited. She processed the appropriate refund for me and I felt really looked after. My recommendation would be to buy your dress from David’s Bridal, but do not use their seamstress service! My recommendation to David’s Bridal is that the seamstresses talk to the fitters, or get involved with the brides when they come in. Too many mixed messages between notes and phone calls, creating poor customer service.

Asharna&leah where absolutely fantastic this 5 star review was due to the 2 of you and the phenomenal work you put in to help me and my girls, I had an pre appointment where these two ladies worked together helped to find the dresses for my bridesmaids and went above and beyond board to help me and my bride dress ideas. Everything was explained the session went smoothly when I went in July everything was explained it was a stress free organised experience and the manager Grace who was there at the time was also very helpful and ensured everything was all ready for when all the bridesmaids came for their fitting all the information was put in the system i then called back two weeks later and everything was confirmed and I was told I could have the same 2 girls who helped me with my initial setting. Everything went well until the day before my appointment on the 3rd of September the manager had changed I got 3 phone calls to ask the same information and confirm my booking which was already done. My information which I called and clarified was not all there and I wasn’t able to get both stylists I was assured I would get. Asharna remained professional had a selection of dresses ready in my bridesmaids sizes and also had a selection of dresses ready for me ( the bride ) to try on. I was not very impressed with Annie the new manager when I had explained about my two stylist I was told that that’s not how things run it should have never have run that way and this is how things are now. ( in the long and short) When I had spoken to her the day before the fact I no longer had my to original stylist was not explained and she also said my confirmation was going to be put on the system which it clearly wasn’t as I still had the same phone call a few times after. Even though this had happened Asharna solo without Ella still helped me and my bridesmaids still had very versatile thinking was able to support all of my bridesmaids and was very very patient. Overall on my second visit was not as smooth sailing as the first visit and cause me additional stress on top of the planning of the weeding it’s self.However Again a very big thank you to Asharna and Ella for your help I would recommend these ladies to everyone, keep it up ladies!!!

Both dresses arrived really quickly within 5 weeks and are a perfect fit. They both need taking up as the girls are only 5ft 1 but this is to be expected. The staff at David's Bridal could not have been more accommodating and was happy to take the extra time to help us make sure we had picked the right dresses. Julie honestly turned my day and whole concept of bridal shopping around and made the experience 100 times nicer and so relaxing. Julie really went out her way to give me the best experience. The store in general was so clean and everyone smiles. The collections were very diverse (I’m a very petite person), they had loads of sizes, even a size 0! I’m honestly so thankful for Julie and the team.

David's Bridal has a huge amount of styles and colours. There are plenty of options to find something your bridal dream team will like and feel good in.It is so important you feel confident you can walk away with another job ticked off your check list. However, if you haven't been before it can feel extremely overwhelming and you could be disappointed. Firstly they don't have all styles in all colours and sizes, so it is likely you won't get your bridal party in the right dress and colour before you buy. After you have gone through the appointment and everyone is measured and ready to go, they only then check the order times on the dresses in the colour and sizes. I now have 2 dresses coming in 6 weeks and 2 in 18 weeks. Thankfully I knew this could happen as a friend used them before, so I went with plenty of time, but imagine not knowing and at the end finding out you wasted the 1.5hrs because they can't get it in on time!

This review is WELL overdue but I must must must share my experience of this wonderful bridal store with the world! I went in to shop for some bridesmaids dresses and I never looked back. The customer service here is absolutely impeccable. The dresses are wonderful and you wouldn’t have to look any further to find something beautiful with the range of styles, fabrics and colours. These ladies (and gentleman) clearly love their jobs as they were such a pleasure to be around. Gave their honest opinions, invested so much time and really made my bridesmaids and I feel at home. I have now been in with my newborn baby FIVE times!!! Each and every time I’ve had a warm welcome and now feel like it’s a second home. I was made to feel comfortable breastfeeding too which is a HUGE PLUS. I cannot thank the wonderful staff enough and they really deserve an outstanding review for each visit I’ve had there. I’ve found the perfect bridesmaids dresses and although I already had a wedding dress I left with a SECOND as I couldn’t help myself. Amazing deal, amazing experience and was made to feel so special, I couldn’t resist! I got to ring the bell which is a lovely experience! Hannah was fantastic during my visit today, very patient, calm, kind and helpful. I tried a few different styles on to get a sense of what shape I like for my body shape. Hannah helped suggest different options and I tried my first veil on - so pretty! I came away with two favourites in mind, one of which Hannah chose for me to try - she quickly had a great sense of what shape I like/don't like and how the dresses made me feel. Also lovely comments about my figure, made me feel beautiful - thanks 🥰 The store itself is very posh and overwhelming when you first walk in but all the staff I met we're lovely and made me feel at ease literally straight away. LOADS to choose from with varying and reasonable prices - on and off of the clearance racks. BIG bridesmaid dress section too... Will have to come back another day for that 😁 You will need the hour and a half allocated to you... more if you want to look at other departments, I didn't feel rushed or pressured at all even though the shop was closing. Will be back 👍🏻

This is the second time I went to David’s bridal I went last august and found a dress but it was a clearance line so only one size was available but it was amazing an price. It fit but the material was very thick and zip fiddly so I was a bit worried but I took it home anyway but then as the months have gone on seeing the bag in the closet has made me more and more anxious so it’s made me almost hate the dress so I knew I needed a new one. I went back to David’s bridal and had the lovely GINA who was amazing! She helped me find the perfect dress and this is the dress I cannot wait to wear now on my wedding day! Even though my old dress was clearance and couldn’t be refunded or taken back, David’s was nice enough to give me a discount on all the new stuff I bought - new dress and all accessories! We had a great time picking bridesmaids dresses at David's Bridal however there were a few things that let the experience down. It was extremely busy in the shop so I would advise not going on a Saturday and our consultant was a little insensitive about asking for sizes (some of my bridesmaids had only met for the first time that day!) and she asked for them all very abruptly. She did serve us quickly and helped the bridesmaids with their dress sizes but gave little advice on alternatives. That being said the dresses look beautiful and I can't wait for them to arrive!

I visited David's Bridal with my daughter to look for a wedding dress. It was the first shop we'd been to, we had future appointments booked for two others. Our bridal consultant was Toni - she was really helpful and listened to what my daughter did and didn't want. She left us to look round the stock and make note of any my daughter was interested in and then came back and got them ready for her to try on. Toni was very happy to help in the changing room - or not help if that was what my daughter preferred. After trying on a couple of the dresses and listening to the comments being made, she suggested my daughter try on a dress we hadn't noticed as she thought it could be what she was looking for. When my daughter tried this dress on, she literally lit up, it was definitely a good call by Toni! She still tried on the other two she had picked out but couldn't get that other dress out of her mind so tried it on again. She still loved it and so that was that, the other two appointments were cancelled and we bought the dress!! Toni was a great help - she listened, wasn't pushy and made us both feel very comfortable. We've got a future appointment booked at David's Bridal for the bridesmaids and very much hope it goes as well as this appointment did!

Toni l, my fitter, was very experienced and introduced me to the styles of dresses available, letting me wander around the store in my own time, viewing all the dresses. I picked three and went off to the very large changing room. My third choice was my favourite. Toni had chosen a fourth 'wildcard' to throw a curve ball in. Whilst it was gorgeous, my third choice was still my favourite but I still needed time to decide. Toni didn't put me under any pressure which was fantastic. Overall it was a great experience. I was surprised how different the dresses I liked were to the ones I had assumed were winners. You really do need to try them on, with the veil to get the full picture.
