Used Alex to to convert the value of a relatively small deferred defined benefit pension into cash and transfer to a SIPP. From our first meeting Alex was thoroughly professional. He kept us informed throughout the process which at times was frustrating due to the bureaucracy (and at times incompetence) of the 2 pension companies involved. We also had the additional complications of the Covid lockdown but Alex was pragmatic and we overcame the additional obstacles posed. We were also grateful to receive a 50% refund of the upfront fees paid when it proved impossible to achieve a transfer of a 2nd pension (for legal reasons). AS a former Bank Manager, I have dealt with many financial advisors over the years and feel Alex is an advisor I can trust.
