I am an American college student attending Boston University who took advantage of the program offered by Absolute Internship to intern abroad, in my case in London. In London, I had the opportunity to intern at Taj accountants, an accounting firm which specializes in small business and self-employment. This internship was my first career related job. Coming in to work on my first day in a new country, I did not know what to expect, from the culture to my tasks; however, I was welcomed by the staff. The staffs were very friendly and more than happy to guide me through my daily tasks, and they were always open to any questions, whether it be regarding wok or simply about the city itself.
