If you are a mobile hairdresser and are needing confidence in your business skills, wanting to up your game or simply want a hairdressing community of like minded, hardworking hairdressers, joining The Hairy Business VIP will be one of the best things you can do. Stephanie is knowledgeable, approachable, very funny and will push you to improve in the skills you are lacking. She has been in our position before, as was a mobile hairdresser herself until recently. She is down to earth and relatable. She appears live on FB when you expect her, and live when you don't! She has lots of contacts in the world of business and invites guests regularly to give us advice on their speciality subject. If she can't answer your question, she will find someone who can! . I love being part of this group because it keeps me accountable, it gives me confidence in myself and my self worth and it makes me realise I am not the only hairdresser with questions. No question is a silly question and I learn so much from other hairdressers in this group too. Reading what they have learnt, new products/equipment they have tried, even mistakes they have made that we can all learn from. Stephanie is 100% a cheerleader of mobile hairdressers and her and this group have definitely helped me and my business in so many positive ways.

I first heard of Stephanie over 2 years ago. Floating around a hairdressing page. Then during lockdown I took part In her pricing for profits and social media boot camp courses. At the end I chose to join her vip membership. I very quickly found I loved Stephanies attitude as it boosted my own self belief and confidence. Before I joined my business wasn't really going anywhere and I was working too many hours for very little. As soon as I put my prices up I found a new client base and enjoyed working much more. Being part of the group meant I have likeminded people who are there for you when you need it and help with any questions. There are regular guest influences and hairdressers sharing techniques and knowledge. I plan to stay with the acadamy, my business is steady but even if I don't need anything right now, it's there when I do. I've had a couple 1 to 1s with Stephanie but hopefully we'll get to meet in person soon!

I joined The Hairy Business VIP group during our second covid lockdown in November 2020. I'd been a member of the free group for quite a while so I'd got an insight into what Stephanie did and I wanted more. I signed up for a block of 6 months thinking that would be plenty of time to do all the courses and then I'd leave. I never left. Not only are the courses and videos amazing, I love the feeling of being part of the group and always having someone to ask for help and advice. Being a mobile hairdresser means I work alone so having a group of like minded people I can trust really makes a difference. Since joining, my business has gone from strength to strength. I increased my prices after doing the Pricing For Profits course and I also had the confidence to confront my family and friends and stopped doing freebies for them. I now earn a decent profit each month. I know how to advertise properly and take decent photos of my work so my website looks a lot more professional and I've gained new clients through my social media pages. There's so much more I could write but to anyone thinking about taking the plunge, I would highly recommend Stephanie. She's funny, straight talking, encouraging and has really given me the confidence and knowledge to run my business properly.

I can not recommend The Hairy Business enough, I've been a member for over a year now. I followed the fb group for a while and during 2020 lockdown Stephanie run some of her courses, which gave me an insight of what the Academy/VIP group was about and I knew I wanted to be a part of. The group/ community is amazing!! Stephanie is always on hand with help and advice or one of the lovely members is willing to help you too. I like the fact that most of us are freelancer hairstylist and we can help each other out when needed- businesswise or emotional support or just to vent. The support from the whole group is great. The courses that are available will keep you busy and keep your business going (if you do the work). Doing the Pricing for Profit course has been an eye opener on the cost & running of my business & my finances, now I'm able to run my business as a business earning money. Twice a month we have expert lives to help with advice and information- website information/accountant advice/cutting experts/colour experts/ wellness information, the list is endless. One the best best decision I made for my business and myself was joing The Hairy Business.

I found Stephanie during the first lockdown and followed her on Facebook After attending one of her course I joined VIP I have been a member for nearly two years and love it. The community of hairdressers in the group is great for support, ideas and inspiration. Stephanie is so straight talking and so honest and puts her heart and soul into us. She mainly advertises for mobile and free lance stylists. I am a salon owner with 9 member of staff and still get so much out of her. She gives us the kick up our butts that we sometimes need and keeps us focused and keeping us updated with information about the industry. Not only does she help me with my business but also in life. I've been one of Stephanie's VIP group members for almost a year now after being a free member in the hairy business lounge for a couple of years. Stephanie is full of amazingly useful information and how to run your business. Her videos are spot on and she's always pushing you to do better, be better, go further with your business. My business is where I want it to be at the moment but I couldn't ever leave the VIP academy! I love it! Constantly learning. Help on hand from other amazing members or Stephanie herself. They're courses to do eg pricing for profits (it is worth it's weight in gold!), social media etc and also we have monthly sessions with experts in - whoever/whatever we are struggling with, Stephanie will get a expert in for us. Whether that's hair related or business related. Stephanie is a awesome business coach, everyone needs her in their life. The hairy business group is full of wonderful, honest people where u can bounce ideas around the group and get help from others in the hairdressing industry. I personally join vip during lockdown as I wanted to level up and get organised with business as I had never really took the time before as I was so busy with hair .I forgot all about the marketing, social media, stock costs , business cost , insurances . If you run a hair and/or beauty business then you need Stephanie in your life. I had been a self-employed home salon stylist for over 10 years before I found The Hairy Business, 3 years ago, I was plodding along ok but knew I could do better. Since joining Stephanie in the 1st lockdown, having time enforced on our industry I have learnt so much!. Working on your own can be quite lonely but the people in the group are genuinely lovely & always have a suggestion or can sympathize with a situation. Having completed several courses including the pricing for profits course, so I’ve been able to cost each service & price my business to be viable. Another enabled me to build a website to showcase my work & have a presence online that reflects my business. These being just the tip of the iceberg. Stephanie is a real tonic for me, she gives an awful lot to her VIP’s including an array of experts for all sorts of areas of our profession.
