It wasn't an issue arriving early. I was put on a bay and instructed to drop the trailer and hand in the keys. Once tipped and reloaded the chap gave me a knock and handed over the completed paperwork.

Had a bouquet of flowers delivered to my daughter and she was absolutely delighted with them. They arrived the next day as promised and were very well packed. They kept me informed by email as to what time scale they would be delivered and they arrived as promised, so she knew when to expect them. She sent me a photo of them and they looked lovely and fresh and exactly like the advertised picture of them. I thought the price was very good. I would highly recommend them.

Fast but if your delivering there they make you drop the trailer out put a lock on and take your keys 🥴 , health and safety once again gone crazy or maybe I'm just getting old.

I currently work at Castle Donington for the Staffline agency via M&S and was offered the opportunity to work at Morrisons Flower World around beginning of February temporarily (prior to no work where I am), which was supposed to be for 3 days. Ended up being 2 days after some miscommunication between the agencies on both sites. The early mornings are the worst. Very disorganised, toilets in the main area to check in look absolutely disgusting, although the toilets near the canteen are better. The only main rubbish bin provided is near the canteen. My first day I was absolutely freezing and my 2nd and final day I was a lot warmer than expected. The canteen was amazingly cheap like £1.55 for a large breakfast (you can have more if you pay more obviously), bearing in mind you will need small / exact change like you would when you pay for bus fare and be absolutely ready to pay. At first I thought the staff in the canteen were completely rude because of this, but then I eventually understood why they were pressuring people as we only had 2x 15 min breaks and 1x 30 min break. Staffline at Castle Donington send your rota via email once a week. Staffline at FlowerWorld send your rota via text message once a day for the following day (no later than 6pm) if you’re needed in, otherwise you have the day off. This was the main reason why I was not needed in after my 2nd day. Castle Donington accept card only payments and is quicker and have friendly staff. FlowerWorld accept only cash payments and is slower and have rude staff. Staffline at Castle Donington have a quick registration system when you turn up for your shift. Staffline at FlowerWorld have a slow registration system (waited an hour an a half before I started my first shift due to lack of communication), but is often slow due to lots of people and everything is paper based. Castle Donington are peculiar with health and safety standards and you usually have a site induction on your first day. FlowerWorld is like a guessing game where you have to rely on your common sense, no site induction at all and didn’t explain health and safety standards, didn’t even show us fire exits. As a result, I assumed they are 100% confident with health and safety standards! Castle Donington have better competitive pay rates. FlowerWorld is only National Minimum/Living Wage. You can probably see where I’m going with this, but I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to at least be offered work so I’m very grateful for that. It hasn’t been too bad working there overall and the job is really easy. However, there are things that the site in general will need to pick up on if they are going to maintain / hire staff. I’m pleased that the opportunity I took was only short term! Some advice I would like to share if you’re starting / staying at FlowerWorld. Make sure you wrap up completely warm when it gets really cold and you have the correct change / cash (bit like when you are travelling on a bus) for the canteen. If you haven’t got any cash on you but have your bank card, there is a cash machine where OneStop is so you could pop there before you start/finish your shift or during your 30 min break as you won’t have time when you’re on it for 15 mins. Very nice flowers and very decent food in the canteen however!
