Took a chance with magnificent bouquets! Glad I did. I usually go to the local florist in the city but thought I'd take a punt with a florist outside of Leicester. The really nice florist was a likeable, friendly person and gave an exceptional service. She made the bouquet on demand and to our requirements. She's been doing this for 20 years and trained in Holland. Don't be put off by the fact that she operates her business from her home. She literally has loads of flowers in stock and she can make you a bouquet based on your needs or occasion. She takes card payment which is brilliant. She's a one person business but her service is brilliant. If you want to try something different take a punt you won't be disappointed. Check out her website and maybe call in advance. I was really impressed with her service. She has a knack for writing in italics, so she kindly wrote a message in the accompanying card for us I turned up at her door and after giving her my requirements and price range she made a beautiful bouquet!

I ordered flowers for our anniversary for the last 2 years and each year they have been magnificent. Previously when I have ordered from other florists some of the flowers have started to die after the first week. For the last 2 years the flowers are still going strong 2 weeks later. My mother passed away on Christmas day and we wanted something special for her funeral. Mum loved teddy bears - she has hundreds from car boot sales and charity shops. We asked Jo, at Magnificent Bouquets here in Oadby, if she could make us a teddy out of flowers. Jo was lovely and took time to discuss what we had in mind. She has a book of pictures of her work and listened to all we said so we knew we would be in good hands. Jo contacted us a couple of times as she prepared to make the arrangement - she cares about her work. We also had a spray made for the top of the coffin. The day before the funeral Jo called to say I could come over to see her work... When I saw the flowers I was quite moved - the coffin spray was beautiful and the colours Jo had selected were exactly how we'd asked for them. The flowers were fresh and healthy. Teddy was a very cheerful chap - Mum would have been thrilled! I'm sure she wouldn't mind that I've attached some pictures from the funeral so you can see him. The family travelled behind the hearse and teddy was looking at us and all the neighbours as Mum made her last journey. The day after I collected the flowers and we put them in Mum's garden - a week later they still looked as good as ever. Thank you Jo for all the care you put into making these displays. We will use you for other occasions and recommend you to anyone who needs a great job done by someone who listens and cares.

I had only just been told it was my sister inlaws birthday as I’m terrible with dates and Miss Last minute over here thought nobody would be able to help! The lady was so kind and guided me to her website too to get ideas of what I wanted. Oh my where to begin I am from Windsor Ontario Canada (originally from Leicester)and have been sending flowers back home for many years. I have tried numerous flower shops. I am here to tell everyone that Magnificent Bouquets absolutely live up to their name. My Auntie and Uncle just celebrated their 50th Golden wedding Anniversary and after contacting Jo by email she replied instantly and help me every step of the way. I chose the upright bouquet and they were ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS they bought tears to my eyes and NOT only did Jo create such beauty Jo and her husband went above and beyond and hand delivered them to my Auntie and Uncle and gave her a personal message from me,and THEN took an array of photos of My Auntie and my dear friend Helen (sis) with the flowers and sent them to me.I was supposed to be in the UK for the celebration but Covid stopped that😢 I dont know how to thank them for what they did. I ordered 2 bouquets, both were absolutely stunning. I never write reviews however Jo deserved a mention. The little touches Jo added was thoughtful and beautiful. She added little flower on the message card, so sweet. So much care was taken with the delivery as well. The bouquet was placed on a fold away table, COVID safe and I received photo to say it was delivered. Jo created divo shaped bouquet for Diwali. I was amazed that she managed to capture the flame and smoke of the divo considering I ordered at last minute. Great deal lot of love and passion went into both the displays. Jo created the flower arrangements for my Fathers funeral. She was incredible during a very difficult period for us all. She listened to what we wanted and delivered a beautiful set of arrangements. We arranged for a family consultation where we were shown some design books and Jo asked us about my mother. She gently guided us through the process and was able to help my father, who was in shock, chose a very special heart tribute as his final goodbye. I ordered some flowers from this lovely lady, for my parents anniversary. It was a last minute order, but she was very helpful. My mother was really pleased with the flowers. The delivery driver however asked to take a picture of my mum holding the flowers, i assume this was for confirmation that he had delivered the flowers. Unfortunately, i asked him to delete this, as i felt it was an invasion of privacy, so i'm hoping theres another method for the driver to show he's done the delivery! This is absolutly the best florist I know and have ever come across. Her dedication and love that she puts into creating the bouquets are incredible. I didn't take a picture of my first bouquet from Jo, I forgot. But the roses in there were absolutly stunning.
