The lemon cake is perfectly moist and delicious, not too bitter or sweet.
The decor in this place is spot on and the aura/energy of the building is tranquil.
I'm sitting downstairs watching a Funk documentary while I'm waiting for a bunch of flowers to be made for my Nan.
The flowers in here look AMAZING and the floral scent floats around the building.
I've walked past here hundreds of times and feel sad that I never noticed it ☹🤦🏼♂️❤

The energy of this place feels so pure and acts as a haven that is so relaxing; one forgets that your right in the hustle and bustle of Finsbury Park. -North London's very own 'Garden of Eden'. I'm looking forward to visiting again with a vase to fill with flowers and treating myself to a homemade candle.

It's a flower shop and a cafe at the same time, the owners are a super friendly family with Caribbean roots, they make hot chocolate out of real chocolate with rose, orange and cinnamon twist, it's warm and small, with comfy chairs, they have a string of regulars popping in and out that they know by name, and they play reggae and soul all day long. Do yourself a favour and drop by.

S. H.I can’t say enough wonderful things about this beautiful flower shop. I’ve just moved to the area and always try to have fresh flowers in the house. Not only is it in the perfect location right by the tub and bus station but they have the most lovely people working there. I walked in and was instantly greeted with smiling faces and asked how I could be helped. They had wonderful arrangements available to purchase right there and had no problem adding more to them. I asked for Gerbers In my aragment and they didn’t have any extra so they pulled it from an existing Aragemnt to meet my needs. It just felt like a place of joy. Every staff member talked to me and asked me how my day was going and seemed to be in such a wonderful mood. I can’t rave enough about the customer service and friendly faces representing this business. I’ve yet to stop and stay for a hot drink but can’t wait to come back on my next day off and drink a tea surrounded by immaculate Flower arrangements and friendly faces. Well done to you and your staff for creating such a place of joy and warmth in this large city!!!

Lovely staff (like genuinely nice- the real deal), great coffee and the flowers/gifts are of such a high quality that they will make any recipient more than happy. Sadly I have moved out of FP and Mento will be one of the places I most miss....
