Called to order some flowers for a family member and asked the florist if they could make something up for us - brief was "bright and cheerful" and they nailed it! Beautiful colourful bouquet, with plenty of flowers still to open up. The quality looks great - they should last for weeks! Well worth the money, we will order from here again. I don’t often post reviews but wanted to share how pleased I am with the product and service from The York Flower Company! Couldn’t recommend them highly enough as a first time customer, and will definitely be using them again. I live in a different county and was looking for a local florist to send some flowers to my grandma for her birthday, and the process was so easy - you can submit your order online with lots of options to choose and personalise the bouquet if you wish, or leave it to the experts to pick the best arrangement. They offer same day delivery; I was ordering for the following day, and received an email in the morning informing me when the flowers had been delivered (the update was very much appreciated as it’s nice not to feel you need to chase it up). I’ve been sent a picture of the bouquet itself, which was an absolutely stunning and generously sized bunch of gorgeous, colourful flowers - I’d picked the ‘bright and cheerful’ option on the website, and that’s exactly what was delivered! In past years I’ve had such bad experiences with florists who operate on a national scale; they always sub-contract the delivery service and that’s where so many of the problems occur. These guys do their own delivery and I definitely felt it was loads more efficient, and that they cared about getting the flowers to the recipient on time and in one piece! Again would highly recommend them and would use again without hesitation, I’m so pleased and so is my grandma!

My husband has bought me flowers from The York Flower Co since we first started dating, the pictures below are just a few examples of their beautiful creations. He would never consider another florist since this really is the greatest florist around. I’m always delighted with the quality and styling of the flowers, not to mention the divine smell! In my experience they have lasted up to three weeks! I’d like to mention how lovely the Lady is also, when delivering the flowers she is always so lovely and warm. You can really tell love and expertise is poured into every creation, thank you so much for putting a smile on my face on so many occasions :)

I would probably describe myself as a regular customer of The York Flower Company, and will inevitably order from them again in future. Despite the flowers being of a very high standard, skillfully presented, and delivered on time, my issue is with the payment, which I first raised with the organisation about 2 years ago. In my experience, PayPal does not work on the website, leaving costomers no option other than to use Debit or Credit Cards. Unfortunately for me, I have a shared account! When the bank statement reads 'The York Flower Company', it might as well read 'Secret Present for Someone in the York Area', and even set off some fireworks. In short, lovely flowers, which I regret that I've been unable to present as a genuine surpise since August 2019. I can only tell my wife so often that "they're for the postman", particularly when they cost so much!

The owner was very kind, helpful and sensitive as it was a very difficult time but she made it easy and stress free. The flowers were beautiful and 15 days after the funeral they had only just started to wilt after being left to the elements. I would definitely recommend The York Flower Company and will use them again as they are value for money, the service is professional but friendly and their arrangements are excellent. Excellent experience with York Flower Company. I called late on a Saturday afternoon U.K. time, from the USA, and reached the answering machine a couple of times, probably a busy time in the shop. Used the on-line order form, which was user-friendly and fast. I put in a note about colour selection for the flowers. They arrived on the Monday as requested, and the recipient sent me a photo, wonderful flowers, lovely composition, 10 stars!

York Flower Co rang me immediately here in Ireland on my mobile phone to say there was a problem as the recipient name didn't match on delivery.
