After using my old Gas AGA for 20 years I had it removed and replaced with a new electric control AGA with the same colour and design all in one day on 18 January 2022. The whole operation was superefficient, and the AGA I have now is much more versatile than the old gas AGA. I can change the temperature of each of the hobs and ovens independently and find the controls very easy to use. I can strongly recommend going electric with this more flexible and efficient replacement.

We had our post 1974 two oven gas Aga converted to electricity about a month ago. The work was done on the date promised by Michael who was very pleasant and tidied up beautifully. The price of this conversion was lower than that of the main competitor kit offered by a number of other suppliers. Also, we much prefer it as it works very simply with turn knobs that are extremely intuitive and very much in the spirit of the Aga philosophy. Since the conversion we have worked out that the kitchen is nicely warmed (writing in early November) by just keeping the two hobs on eco mode and the ovens off. Also eco mode is perfectly hot enough to fry eggs quickly etc. If we need the ovens we just need to remember to put them on before we need them. Overall we are extremely pleased with our econtrol conversion. Recommended.
