Found the staff in store very helpful for the week or so it took us to decide which sofa to buy. They talked me through all the different futon options and the fabric choices. In the end we went for the Rondo 3-seater sofa bed. It turned out that it was faster to wait 10 days for the sofa to be delivered to the shop and pay a local man-with-a-van that Futon Company Bristol use frequently to deliver it to my door for £35 cash in hand. Incidentally that’s the same price they charge to deliver it from their warehouse. Unfortunately when it did arrive one of the pieces had a large splinter coming off it (must have happened in factory as the packaging was undamaged. I couldn’t be bothered waiting for a replacement so I opted to glue the splinter back down myself and let the shop know. They refunded me the £35 courier fee which I was perfectly happy with. The sofa itself was very easy to construct. It took me about 45 minutes to do muddle and it is super comfy both in the sofa and bed. Quality feels excellent and it looks nice and stylish. Essentially it’s posh IKEA!

This is not a review for this particular store, but a review about their sofa bed. I don't recommend it because it's highly uncomfortable. It's uneven, super heavy, and noisy. I've had mine for probably over 5 years and I'm finally giving up. The screws get loose constantly, but I now can't even tighten it because the nuts are worn down (the metal is too soft). Also, the part where the nut is fitted is too small to fit in a wrench so I can't tighten it anymore. Overall, the quality of the frame is poor. The futon itself is good though, which is why I gave it 3 stars.

After a stool I purchased from futon a few years ago broke. I took the parts back into the Bristol store in hope they could be re-used or upcycled. Intending to buy a replacement, I was over the moon when Ray and Tariq volunteered to repair my existing item. They did the repair within 15 minutes and I was soon on my way home with a fully functional stool. I was over the moon with this level of customer support and the sustainable attitude of the staff! Thank you so much Bristol team for all your help and support with this issue.

We recently ordered a futon from the Bristol store. When we visited the store initially Tarik helped us go through all the possible options available and demonstrated the way the sofas worked. He was really pleasant and helpful but not in any way pushy. Once we decided to order we contacted him again and he kindly kept the order for us until some work was completed in our house and we were ready to take delivery. Its been great to deal with someone so nice who also does their job so well. Would highly recommend!.

The shop in Park Street Bristol were very helpful. Initially I had planned to collect the futon but my car was too small so they kindly arranged for it to be returned to the warehouse and redelivered to my house for the original delivery fee of £35. The package was well protected and the delivery service was excellent. I love the new futon - it fits perfectly!

Brilliant service and friendly staff who gave us lots of advice and guidance. I love my new leaning desk and Tivoli chair. They were easy to assemble on my own and look great in my new place. I collected the items which were in the shop on the day from their back exit round the back off the shop (accessible via park street). Ray and his colleage carried everything to the car for me (!). The chair was delivered by APC and was prompt and communicative via email. I opened the narrow shelves to find no fittings but phoned the shop and they have some in the post on their way. Highly recommend for posh Ikea esq furniture which can fit in small spaces in your home.

Great service from friendly staff who were happy to unfold a futon to show us how it works. We've now had the futon for a few weeks and I can recommend the 'Ultimate Comfort' version. Not cheap but worth paying the extra IMO.

The products are built to last and they look great. Tarik, at the Bristol Park Street store, gave a great service from start to finish (the mattress had a slight fault so he personally delivered a new one to me with no fuss). Would recommend.

We've just bought a new cover for our sofa bed (which we just use as a Sofa) and it made me reflect on how good this shop is. We bought our sofa-bed 8 years ago, and with the addition of a new cover, it's still going really strong, and I reckon, had easily another decade of comfortable use in it. Their furniture, which features a lot of natural wood, is really well made and looks really great.. So yes, very happy to recommend this shop to others, so that hopefully we can go back and buy another replacement cover in another 8 - 10 years time!

Great service, good quality -prices are reasonable and whilst they do not deliver they can recommend some on who can deliver and also more importantly as the furniture is flat packed they will help you with assembly - this is a charge for delivery and then an additional charge for the assembly - it is always bought into your house-flat packed is easier for delivery and storage. The shop staff are friendly - prices are equivalent to big chains but with more personal service - also I did not have to wait long for the items to be delivered Great service and would recommend

I wanted to purchase a pot plant holder that had been reduced from £5 to £4. When I got to the till I was asked to pay £5 as the item was incorrectly reduced and the person on duty could not authorise discounts. The person on duty was very friendly though and the products seemed lovely.

I'm generally pleased with the Oak Ladder Desk which I ordered online and then picked up from the back door of the Bristol store. It was fairly easy to put together, and is nice and compact against our living room wall. The desk is a good height, and the 2 shelves are also a nice height and useful for storage and display items such as photos. The only disappointing aspect of the desk is that the the drawer has been divided into sections and the 2 larger sections are not quite A4 size, so not ideal for storing papers. Additionally due to the limited distance the drawer comes out the small back section in the middle can't even be accessed! I think just one big drawer would be more useful or perhaps there should be only one divide splitting the drawer into two parts.

Helpful service. Bought zip up bed and tatami mat, quite reasonably priced for very good quality product. Very comfortable for sleeping away from home, I also use a trifold foam underneath. Trying to get authentic Japanese experience!

When spending just under a thousand pounds on a futon ( and this was sale price !!), I would not have expected it to be so difficult to assemble. The frame is extremely heavy and required 2 strong adults. In fact I do not believe you should have to do this yourself. The futon panel was not even covered. The cover came in a separate bag and even this was difficult to put on . !!! WHY could it not be covered in the factory ? I think the least you could do is assemble the futon yourselves. I could have bought 2 sofa beds for the same price and they would have been in one piece not half a dozen. I like the futon but not sure it was worth the hassle.
