Fantastic showroom experience, however I haven’t given it a 5 as the sofas took too long to make, almost 3 months, however we were given 2 free cushions as compensation. The comfort and quality is amazing and I would recommend this company

Initial communication with Authentic was excellent, attentive and willing to go above and beyond to ensure the ordering process was painless and clear. Unfortunately our order of a two seater tufted glove sofa took almost three months from order to delivery. We were initally given one delivery date, which we could not make and despite us providing numerous other dates it was several weeks later before they were delivering in our area. This included one date, where they cancelled on the actual date of delivery siting vehicle issues( we had only the day before got rid of our old sofa to make room). Sofa was eventually delivered, this appears to be well made and of good quality. By way of an apology they sent along two free cushions which we neither needed or would have selected. Not the overall experience we were hoping for.

Really friendly and helpful people, Tim especially. No hassle or hard sales pitch and the showroom is really nice and shows off the range of furniture. We have bought a pair of leather chesterfield sofa`s and Tim was really knowledgeable about the best options etc. Great price in the colour we wanted and they are FANTASTIC. My wife and I had been looking all over the country for the right ones for us and when we came across this shop, it was bang on. Handmade, great quality and one thing you dont appreciate in the showroom........what a wonderful smell they have when they get delivered. thanks to everyone at Authentic Furniture, we will enjoy

True to it’s name, the furniture is beautifully authentic and of very high quality. We initially placed an order online for a 3 seater sofa and 2 Glove Tufted chairs but later decided to make a trip to the Peaks from London which I thoroughly recommend. Seeing the samples and sofas up close allowed us to finalise the style and colour but also we ended up adding a Grand Wingback armchair to our order which was love at first sight for the family! Gareth and Juliette really helped us in making an informed decision and were very accommodating with altering our order and requirements.

We recently had our Olive Velvet Tufted Glove delivered, and what a stunner it is. The quality and finish of the chair is beautiful and the fact it has been handcrafted by a local craftsman makes it even more special. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a more helpful and friendly service right through from our initial enquiry to delivery.
