Never thought I would see myself shopping inside this place until I was looking for a bed and fell upon one advertised by this company on their Internet site. Thought I would go into store to check out the item for myself. Pleasantly surprised all of the furniture seemed decent quality. The downside was overly eager sales assistant who couldn't seem to get her prices right. I was given the price of the bed which had a knock down price on it already , I told her that it was cheaper on the Internet by nearly £100, and was told then that they hadn't updated their prices. So I would recommend checking the price on their website before purchasing in store.

Very nice sofa's/furniture and delivery is very good but the sales try to sell you the cleaning service/stain guard which they describe as a cleaning service which you can call out whenever for a lifetime all for abit extra. No one from Oak furniture land knows the contact details and try to put you through to a insurance company like the sofa is broken. This was the only thing that lets these down!

Helpful staff. Products seem well made, most seem to be made in Vietnam. Prices vary as there is always a sale, long waiting times for certain items. Delivery rates can be expensive.

Brilliant shopping experience here. We'd looked on the website first and easily found what we wanted. The shop was lovely. Full of oak furniture and yet somehow uncluttered. We found the wardrobe straight away on entering. We spoke to a lovely salesman, who dealt with the order very efficiently, sorted out delivery and took the payment. All over and done in less than 20 minutes! I'd give 10 stars if I could!

The furniture is nice, seems to be well made (time will tell), but I was disappointed to find that they're being a little bit naughty with the prices - you can't have any of their furniture for the price it's advertised at, even in store, there's always a delivery charge added to it. (Didn't Ryanair get into trouble for advertising products that couldn't be bought for their advertised price?) The piece we bought had a price tag on it in store of £319 but there's no way we could actually have it for that apparently. The only two choices we were given for this "in stock" item was to pay either £20 extra to get it in 2 weeks time or pay even more to get it within 7 days. For an item that's in stock already. No option to collect, no way not to have to pay either extra charge. Nice work if you can get it.

I visited Oak Furnitureland looking for a couple of pieces of livingroom furniture, the showroom was very good with plenty of variety, i was looked after by a gentleman called Ciaran, his knowledge, help and product knowledge was second to none, advise on my purchase was greatly appreciated, left the shop feeling like I had been looked after (a rarity these days). As I had such a customer freindly experience with Oak Furnitureland I returned with my wife a week later, only to be served by the same gentleman and again taking advantage of his product knowledge my wife and i purchased a new leather suite, again a very professional service. Thank you.

Just had a dining table and chairs. Did all the other shops in Derby, couldn't touch the value for money. Sure, if price is no object, there's more luxurious stuff out there, but you're talking thousands of pounds! I'm really happy with what we have. Thanks to all the Derby team.
