A. M. [.I ordered two bookcases and they arrived very quickly. They were well packaged with no damage to them. I was informed about delivery and times and the ease in which they went together was amazing. The instructions were clear and concise and they are amazing.
I intend to order a slimline one to complete the set. I would like another shelf with fixings for the larger shelving unit but that is just my personal like. But you will not be disappointed.

L. G.We were kept well informed about the status of our order until it got to the delivery when sadly the company and the delivery team let themselves down. We were allocated a delivery date that didn't suit us as we were at work. I called Oak World to change the delivery date as there was no option on the link they sent me to do this myself. To their credit they were quite good at answering the phone which is pretty rare these days. I managed to get the date changed but sadly the date came but the delivery didn't. After waiting in all day our delivery never arrived. When we called Oak World we were told they couldn't do anything until the latest time had passed so when this happened everyone had gone home but we were still waiting for our delivery. Luckily the delivery company were open until 6pm and I managed to get through to them. I had to look up their number myself as Oak World said they weren't allowed to give it out. I was told by the delivery company that they were unable to deliver on the day due to a shortage of drivers and we were allocated a priority slot for the next day but nobody bothered to contact us to let us know or ask if anyone would be home. Luckily we were so I called the delivery company again the next morning and was told our delivery was scheduled between 1 & 3pm. Not exactly what I'd call a priority but there you go. Our delivery eventually arrived at 3:30 and the driver was really helpful and polite. Our furniture is lovely although I think it was quite expensive it was exactly what we were looking for and we hope to order a wardrobe next. On the whole we were satisfied with our order but a little more communication would be good in the future.
l. b.Delivery of my wardrobe was quite quick from ordering. I phoned and asked a few questions and was given plenty of assistance by a very pleasant sales person. I had a text telling me delivery time and date, and it came on time. The delivery men were good and checked there was no damage before they left. Two people built it, they were a lot of clear pictures for instructions, and it is lovely. Strong, good quality, and looks very nice. Thank you Oakworld for good service.
b. m.I ordered a three drawer bedside cabinet and was delighted with the item. Of excellent quality, already assembled, it is exactly as described and makes an excellent improvement to my room. The service from this Company was excellent, the item came promptly and was well packaged and the price paid was very fair and reasonable. What's not to like. Wardrobes are great and easy to set up, you need 2 people to do this.

When putting the wardrobe together the instructions are absolutely rubbish.
No items are labelled.
No arrows to determine which way up items go.
A number of holes weren’t drilled so we had to do this ourselves.
It took a while to put together due to this.
If you’re on your own with limited tools, this is not the wardrobe for you.
When we put it together a lot of the shelves don’t fit flush to the sides of the wardrobe so not happy about that.
For what we paid for this wardrobe, it’s not worth it.
Terrible instructions and it doesn’t fit flush as it should.
We only bought one to see what it was like, glad we made that decision now.

I originally looked online, and it stated that the items I wanted would take 7-10 days to get delivered, but as I had such a bad experience with Furniture Village that still isn't resolved, I decided to call them to check availability, the lady I spoke to was a great help and told me yes we have the on stock and would be delivered in the stated timeframe, she then also took my order and payment details, this was on the Friday at 4.50pm, on Monday I got an email from their delivery partners informing me they had my order and would be informed when its going to arrive, Tuesday got another email saying it would be delivered on Thursday, I got a call Thursday afternoon saying my order would be delivered in 20 minutes, and it was by 2 really friendly guys.

J. W.Initially I bought a TV unit, and was so pleased with the quality I also bought a sideboard, a side table and 2 smaller side tables. Each item was so well packaged, even the roughest of delivery drivers would have struggled to damage them. However, that would not be a problem as the delivery guys actually offered to unpack the items for us.
After several arguments about positioning, the items look absolutely wonderful in my livingroom (sorry, it never occured to me to take photos). No longedr do I have to sit my glass of wine on the floor where the dog is likely to drink it!!
From ordering to delivery Oakworld kept me informed. One item was due to take 5-6 weeks for delivery, but somehow they managed to deliver with the other items within 2 weeks.

Alternative companies on the high street generally give lead times of between 8 - 16 weeks, not for me, waiting time is far to long. S. D.Arrived quickly. Good instructions to put together - I like that all the pieces are numbered. It looks pretty good now it’s done and a good amount of space inside. Unfortunately I bought it because I liked that it had clearance for the skirting board - but our skirting board is so tall it doesn’t clear it - so be sure to check that. Would be better if the drawer had runners to keep it in place. I do think it’s a bit expensive for flat pack, but it does the job.

Only problem was delay in delivery after being notified it has been shipped and received an email from DPD it didn’t arrive until 10 days later with only a few hours notification of delivery so we were out but thankfully a neighbour agreed to take the delivery.

It was heavy and difficult to move but I was lucky enough to have help to put it together but someone else might not. S. A.Good soiid oak bedside tables, well illustrated on the website, so no qualms about ordering and a very fast delivery (under a week). Well packed so no damage, and the stout cardboard boxes made excellent play thngs to keep the grandchildren amused!
J. I.Furniture was late being delivered but as we got it at a very good reduction we weren't that concerned. Came on a pallet wrapped in "miles" of black plastic. Took longer to unpack than assemble the table but the final item(s) where very good. If it all survives Yorkshire winters as advertised we'll be more than happy.
C. A.A beautiful piece of kit. It will take a lot longer to put together than the description, but it is worth doing slowly and carefully. TIP: actually measure the screw lengths to check you are screwing the right one into the right bit. There are lots of screws, all with small differences. Also make sure you put the right cams into the right holes. A critical mistake is easy with this kit. Just study the pictures carefully. Simples! I love the finished item, looks amazing.

Longest lead item was 14 weeks
Called to ensure it all came as one delivery as I had chosen from two ranges and that was agreed.
1 week later called by courier to state one range was coming I said it’s not and returned again called them to agree what had already been agreed.
We agreed a delivery date of 30th if May following a delay with the longest lead item
Conflicting stories from customer service although it had been confirmed they had the longest lead item
Took the 30th off and they cancelled delivery last minute the evening before with another delay.
So I called them again arranged for all the items too be delivered barring the one missing item on the 2/6 and low and behold only two items come another wasted day off
So about 10 calls later they told me the remaining items excluding the one item is being picked up from them in the 9th this week and we will get confirmation of when and what time it will be delivered but it would be 11th it 12th
Well you couldn’t write a book about it the the furniture arrived today 10th at 10am Unarranged and unannounced my poor missus was doing her nut just her and an austistic child indoors that can’t be left unattended and a pallet load of furniture left in the road in the rain with now at to get it in as I was over a 100miles away at work as we had no idea it was coming so too top it off I had too phone around and pay two chaps to come over two hours later in the rain and breaking covid 19 rules as they are not from this household and all you you get from customer services is since writing my review i have been contacted and recieved further appolgies and they have agreed to reinburse me £200 for the incoinvienece

E. T.This company has loverly furniture, but I ordered 2 pieces for my lounge and a piece for my hallway and all my bedroom furniture in grey at the beginning of April 2019,
I received my 2 units for the lounge the middle of May which were well built and looked loverly, today 2nd July 2019 I received my Hall unit and 2 bits of my bedroom furniture (Wardrobe and drew unit) when I queried with the driver as I should also if had 2 bedside cabinets and another draw unit they told me to phone customer care, the answer they gave was that the other 3 pieces if furniture won’t be in the warehouse until 26th July which means it probably won’t be delivered until early August, which is crazy for it to take 5 months to receive all the pieces if furniture I ordered (they were ordered at the same time),
There is no communication as to what is on the delivery and what is not until you phone customer service?
I also payed an extra £60 for the guys to put it together for me, the guys had to phone the depot as there paperwork didn’t show that they were putting it together?
Before the guys left they informed me that the centre door did not fit properly and it is scrapping on the bottom, so not able to use as it will damage the paint on the bottom big of the wardrobe, I’ve phone customer service to be told to email and they will then marry my email up with the delivery note the girls wrote on, I now wished I went to Oakland, they may have been more efficient.
So after 5 Months I may have all my bedroom furniture inplace.
