Just outside of the main shopping area, this little store is well worth visiting. Homeware are organised by room and are of very high quality. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Homer is a fantastic example of how a focus on quality allows a local shop can beat larger cheaper rivals. Homer has such superb quality items, a collection of interesting and unusual items for the home. The scented candles are superb and half the price of other stores. Try this place!

One of my favourite things about Homer is their premises – a town house flat converted into a shop. They've roughly kept each room as it was, so much so that you'll find all the kitchen items for sale in the 'kitchen' and the living room objects in the 'living room'. Ever had trouble imagining what something would like at home? Well, here that's no problem at all! And what do they sell? Almost everything you could ever need for a well-accessorised home: big cosy blankets, art by local talent (such as Emily Hogarth), vintage suitcases, design books, toys, napkins, wooden letters... and the list goes on. The only thing not for sale is the flat itself!
