First time in the store I had no idea of the range of furniture sofas settles beds etc etc I had thought they only sold oak furniture such as tables side units wardrobes etc, I was wrong, maybe they should open up their range better as advertising seems to focus solely on wood.

I bought an accent chair from Oakland’s Furniture store and absolutely delighted with it. It was delivered a week early by very thoughtful delivery guys. Will definitely shop here again and highly recommend the staff at The Fort in Edinburgh.

Called into the store yesterday and was greeted by a lovely lady. I think her name was Moira or Morna (the blonde lady). She was very attentive and helpful. Confirmed everything i needed to know about the bedroom furniture. I will definitely be back again if that's the kind of attention and customer service provided within these stores. Also covid procedures make you feel safe whilst within the store

Went in today to resolve a problem with furniture we had bought a few years ago. The manager (George Anderson, I think) was absolutely brilliant. Totally restored our faith in the brand - we went from 'never again' to we WILL be back , due entirely to his input.

Just taken delivery of a dining table, bench and chairs, great service and they look fantastic however very disappointed in paying £1,400 and having to put them together with an allan key. The point in us buying from here was to get solid furniture not to build our own, could've gone to IKEA for a lot less money if I wanted to build them up! The amount of packaging in this current environment is staggering, it's taken 3 trips to the recycling centre to dispose of it all. You could maybe consider adding building furniture and removing packaging to your delivery options as other furniture stores do this. Can't fault the furniture or service that was 5*
