This is an Aladdins cave. Absolutely packed full of quality unusual stuff you won't find elsewhere. We went in for a look around and ended up spending £400 on 3 lovely items. Then left with plans for more purchases online where they sell with low delivery charges. The guy told us he only sells unusual stuff until he sees it popular on the internet and moves on to the next new item. Very friendly and helpful and a must visit if you're in Barmouth. Or browsing the Internet for house items

5 August 2022: My partner and I purchased two plush velvet Croydon Wing Chairs (near-identical to the attached image) from Pieces for Places. There is quite a long lead time before delivery (20 to 24 weeks, but can be longer), as each chair is crafted to order. I can assure you the wait is well worth it! Refined. Robust. Ridiculously comfortable! 10/10 from us... or five gold stars if you prefer. :)

Just had the best delivery experience from one of my favourite places thank you! I was given an hours time slot for over a 3 hour drive, very kind, helpful and professional staff delivering who took all the packing away with them. Staff in the shop are always so helpful and they’ve kindly stored the furniture in their warehouse until I moved house. Excellent all round. Many thanks 😊 First of many deliveries I feel!

I ordered a 60cm fire pit online. Service was incredible…somehow I’d left my house number out of the form. They called to check within 24 hours, advised that the pit would arrive 3 days later, which it did. It’s superb quality. Great price too. Delivery charge entirely reasonable… it’s a heavy thing! We are thrilled! Thoroughly recommend. Go Wales!!

Such a great place to buy all those things you didn't realise you really needed for your home. When I need new furniture this will be the store to go. I do have lots of their knick knacks around my house, and they are tasty, definitely not tacky.

Nothing to complain about, a great shop for buying furniture and items for the home, Pieces for Places has a great old-fashioned mixed with modern aethstetic. Some items are very expensive but the quality makes the products worth it. Great items for a millennial home. Great staff also.

This store is on the High St and has a distinctive entrance and appearance.The store is a converted Chapel that has been tastefully done. The furniture and household items are spread over 2 floors and are clearly high quality items. It is not cheap, but you will find furniture items that you have to have. A quality shop.

An eclectic mix of good quality industrial, weathered oak and modern furniture, fabulous comfortable sofas and stylish tables, lamps, pictures etc in a converted Chapel covering three floors. A great selection of cushions, tableware and unusual designs make Pieces for Places well worth a visit.

I recommend Pieces for Places (PFP) maybe because things went wrong. Let me explain: Our furniture was delayed owing to a courier issue. Then when it arrived there was a stain caused by a quality control sticker. Also the manufacturer changed their spec and placed black plastic legs where matching wooden ones should be. All of the issues were satisfactorily resolved thanks to the excellent service PFP gave.

Both myself and sister bought beautiful sofas here without stupid prices. Great individual pieces of furniture and lovely homeware bits and pieces - all very different to the norm. Worth the distance we drove. Owner nice young guy - no hard sell. Well done on this fantastic business!

Great selection of weird and wonderful furniture and a great place to get ideas from. One way sysyemnin place for covid and was rather busy when in there but didn't have to wait. If you're visiting Barmouth for the day, definitely visit here!

Went to Barmouth on a day trip yesterday and called in this fabulous place. Loads of gorgeous items, great customer service, and I wish I had bought more now, but time was limited for us. Love the quirkyness of a lot of the stuff. Would recommend a visit here if you go into Barmouth.

Wow, what an emporium. Just a shame they're not closer to South Wales. We saw so many unusual nick nacks, tables, mirrors and Welsh items. Bought a few things but not nearly as much as I now wish i had. Will visit again.
