I have bought several items from Upholstery Designs over the years. I’ve always found the items in the store to be very good quality at a reasonable price. The leather suite I bought 12 years ago still looks good. Has not lost shape and is still very comfortable. The staff are very helpful and go that extra mile to make sure you are satisfied. The store is well laid out and is pleasing on the eye. The delivery people where the best I’ve ever had. What a struggle they had getting my three piece suite into our house. They didn’t give up. Wrapped it in cushioned bags so as not to damage it or any part of my house. You won’t be disappointed if you visit this store. There is something for everyone’s tastes. I always admire the window displays when I pass. A local business who have survived despite the current situation we are all experiencing. I always try to support local businesses.

I had an image for my dream sofa. I spent hours searching and nothing was quite right, either too big for my small space, or the wrong colours etc. Then Upholstery Designs stepped in to help, went more than the extra mile to not only have my furniture made at two separate places to accommodate for sizing, but also source fabric seperatley so it was the perfect colour. To say I was overwhelmed when it finally arrived is an understatement. I can't thank the team enough for for their impeccable service. I would highly recommend these folks, quality, at affordable prices and provided with the most friendly service. Thanks again to the Upholstery Designs team 💚💛

Wife and I bought two settees yesterday with a delivery date of 6-8 weeks as opposite to 3-4 months from the larger outlets. Choice and service was fantastic and excellent value for money. They have even agreed to get rid of my current settees(for a small fee) when they deliver our new ones.No hard sell tactics.A pleasant experience throughout.

Hi Just wanted to say a massive thank you for such a smooth process from start to finish. No big sell. No over promise and under deliver (like some of the big high street names) and a hassle free delivery. The guys moved my mother in laws temporary furniture out of the lounge (light weight garden furniture), positioned the new suite exactly where she wanted it, and wouldn’t leave until she was happy. No mess and no rubbish left behind for us to clear up. Thank you so much. When we are ready for our next suite we will be in to see you 😊

We visited this lovely store looking for a new sofa. There was so much choice. The husband and wife team where friendly and helpful and not pushy like many stores elsewhere. We visited for the second time to double check what we had seen. We have now ordered a sofa and chair. Would highly recommend a visit to this store

We visited the store for the first time looking for a new sofa after having suffered poor service from bigger brands in the past. What an absolute delight to be served by Nathan. He was a really friendly guy who spent most of the afternoon explaining the products to us and sharing his knowledge of soft furnishings. He had lots of patience and answered all our questions. Nothing seemed too much trouble and he was a really nice guy. Tony and Donna were also helpful, particularly as we changed the patterns on the cushions the next day! We placed our order for a sofa, a cuddler and an Accent chair. These arrived yesterday and the quality is amazing. The sofa is a patchwork pattern and looks very quirky and individual. I couldn't think of going anywhere else now. What you see is what you get - friendly staff, not pushy and top furniture. Thanks and well done for a great service. I'd like to be back soon, but that could be some years away as the quality is so good.

Visited 8 weeks ago and was very pleasantly surprised with the selection available. Had already been round the larger suppliers locally and was blown away by the superior quality of suites on show at this brilliant place. Amazing choice of fabric for the suite we chose.... also choice of fabric for (free) cushions. The young gentleman attending to us was absolutely brilliant!!!! Very helpful and knowledgeable without being in the least bit “pushy” .... he was also incredibly patient 😂 Was informed that order would take 8 weeks... and that it would be thoroughly checked before being released for delivery.... how refreshing. On the dot (minus 3 days) our suite has arrived and been checked. Lovely Donna arranged for almost immediate delivery and did so in such an efficient and friendly manner I almost want to order another suite 😂 Fantastic products, great prices, excellent quality and brilliant staff. What more can you ask for!!!! Look no where else if this is what you are looking for.

Fed up with the usual big chain stores, we popped in to check out the range of sofas and prices. Ian was very friendly and tried really hard to help us find the most comfortable sofa in the exact fabric we wanted. We ordered two sofas which were delivered on time and exactly as ordered - perfect - and they are proving to be the most comfortable we have ever had. We love our new sofas and have already recommended Upholstery Designs to our friends and family based on quality and value for money. I would give them 6 stars if I could !

We purchased a suite from upholstery Designs in 2008 then added a third smaller sofa. We have since had it recovered it is like brand new. Upholstery Design are not the cheapest suite provider in the city but they give a high quality service tailored to your individual needs

I bought two sofas about five years ago and they still look good I can't believe that they've worn so well because I have three cats which love to pull their claws on them but the material which is Chenille hasn't pulled. I found them to be really helpful and not pushy. This is a family business and I always think you get good quality products and excellent service from them. I would definitely recommend them.

This is a follow up from my previous review. We came back to the store saw a different member of staff who were just as helpful as the first person we saw.. We went ahead and purchased the 4 motor riser recliner chair in an espresso faux leather at a very reasonable price. We weren't expecting del before Christmas with the time of year but we had a nice surprise when we got a call saying our chair had arrived and to arrange delivery .. The chair was delivered and unpacted installed demonstrated for us.... All we have to say is 5 star 🌟 service all round from start to finish we will be coming back to buy new living room furniture.

Went to look at riser recliner chairs and was pretty surprised to see a large selection of furniture at reasonable prices. Very helpfull staff the only downside is that there is no finance facility.... There is plenty of parking and disabled access

Recently purchased a suite from here. Great service and not pushy like the the bigger brands. They also offer 0% finance which is great for people without £££ to layout.
