Went to Ipswich furniture Village today and had a very positive experience buying a sofa. Gerrell Harris, sales consultant, was very friendly, knowledgeable and did not pressure us at all. We felt very much at ease and rate the whole experience 5 stars. Thank you we would shop here again

Been lookong for a sofa so did the round of the usual furniture shops! Have to say that the staff in Furniture Village were by far the best and were helpful but not pushy. We bought a sofa and chair from Gerrell who made everything very easy, explained everything and had good product knowledge. As my wife said, "he is wasted in just selling furniture". Overall the store is quite big and a very good selection - recommended.

Had a very easy and pleasant experience ordering a sofa today. Gerrell was very polite and helpful, and judged it well to leave me alone to ponder over fabrics for ages. Great that the staff help each other too, since some of my queries required detailed knowledge, so there's no hint that commission makes them over eager to make a sale.

I came in with my Son this afternoon as I was looking for a new Divan and Mattress and was unsure what to buy. After looking around for a while we were approached by Chris Hunt who I presume is one of the Senior Sales Gentlemen. After a chat with him, rather than making an instant decision , my Son and I decided we would go and have a coffee and a chat. We did, we came back and with Chris' help I decided on my choice of Bed and Mattress and we were then introduced to Reece whom I presume was an apprentice sales advisor. Both Gentlemen were very nice and very kind and made me very comfortable and at ease within the store. Went into Furniture Village Ipswich this evening to purchase a dining room table and chairs as well as a sofa bed and was very well looked after by Sheikh. He was absolutely fantastic, made us laugh, worked hard to explain the products to us and knew his products well and nothing was too much trouble. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with the staff offering good advice but certainly not pushy. When we had decided upon the purchase it was very quick and easy to set up and make deposit, as well as arrange proposed delivery etc. My only gripe, as such, is that I do not seem to have been sent a link to set up the repeated payments option that I had chosen.

I went into the ipswich store to have a look for a new sofa an was greeted by Chris Hunt he was very professional an helped us pick the sofa which was best for us, The sofa had a foot stool that matched which we couldn't afford until our next pay day Chris was happy to put this away for us until we could afford this. This is a mixed review. Service from Furniture Village, in this instance, has been poor. Paid £1500 for a settee in March. Settee not ordered or received and many long phone calls trying to chase up to no avail. A very stressful experience despite many promises. However, Mo in the Ipswich branch, managed to sort out a full refund this week. He did this in one day doing his utmost to resolve the problem successfully. Hats-off to Mo. Thank you for your support 💐 and for great customer service.

We went into the Ipswich branch on Saturday to purchase a new otterman double bed frame. We were assisted by Gerrell who was very helpful and polite and gave us some great advise. Telephone order was good but had a phone call last week confirming order being delivered on 25/2/21. The wife booked the day off for only a delivery of 4 chairs and no table. Call them to be told another 5/8 weeks for the table to be delivered as it’s from a different supplier. Half contemplating cancelling the order

Went to FV in Ipswich as I had seen a dining table I liked online. Half an hour later I came away with the perfect table for us, four gorgeous, equally perfect chairs and a bench-seat for an AMAZINGLY good price. Delivery a tad longer than hoped for but, as they say, good things are worth waiting for ! Chris was the perfect person to help - non-pushy, professional, friendly and knowledgable about all the alternatives and questions I had. All in all, the perfect shopping experience. We visited the Ipswich Store on Saturday 1st February to buy a new sofa and we were greeted with a very pleasant and friendly welcome. We were greeted by a young gentleman, Dave, who was very informative and friendly and had great enthusiasm in telling us all about the materials that are used and the guarantee etc. He knew what he was talking about, but there was no hard sell, which probably secured the sale, as there are many furniture stores to browse and we were torn between two shops. However, we liked the atmosphere and most of the settees in store, as they are all very nice and good quality. Dave said "spend as much time as you feel you need to" in choosing what we liked. Tea, coffee and biscuits were offered and the sale was a very pleasant experience for us. Will definitely go to Furniture Village again.

Not the same experience in the big high street department stores where you are expected to view/buy on-line, there's limited, or no, stock to see, and staff have not been available to provide service. My boyfriend and I went to furtinure village before the second lockdown came. We fell in love with some sofas. During lockdown I saw they had a sale on called the team and spoke to a gentleman called Jerry first. He was lovely and gave us a great deal! We continued to speak to the team to make sure we could collect the sofas on the day we wanted. They always answered and all the team were always so helpful. On entering the shop and been seen looking at mattresses, the sales person politely asked if he could be of help. He then showed us different alternatives that were available. Once having made the decision to but, he took us through the ordering process, and although the system had been altered recently making it difficult for him to select that appropriate code for the item we had selected, he was apologetic for the time it took but at the same time humorous. you have asked me to review Furniture Village far too soon. I put in an order for 2 bed headboards which I was told would take up to 3 weeks to deliver to the store from where I will collect them. To date my experience has been good with an efficient and polite salesman at the store who looked after me well. I am not able to comment further until the goods I have ordered arrive within the time frame I have been given. For the experience to date I would give you 5 stars but the Ipswich store must forfeit one because of your untimely request for a review. I suggest you ask me again having given time for the delivery.

Had a very successful visit to the Ipswich store , wanted a chair with a foot stool saw exactly what we wanted and was served by a very pleasant salesman called Chris who was very knowledgeable and helpful and certainly didnt give us a hard sell brought chair given option of colours and insurance and job done only downside is that have to wait 6 weeks for delivery , Felt that store was very covid safe had temperature taken on entry and given hand gel plenty of bottles around store ,asked if we wanted to help ourselves to coffee ect all in all a very pleasant experience indeed woukd certainly use again and reccomend to friends , thankyou Furniture village
