We wanted the old kitchen taken out and a new one installed. We wanted someone who would provide the full service, removal of old, installation of new, plastering of walls, tiling of walls and ceiling as well as a new door from the hallway to the kitchen. We found that someone in Carringtons. From the moment we walked into the shop to when Alex came to see us to make sure that we were happy with the finished result we felt that our wishes were met. Lawrence talked us through the design of the kitchen and when we changed our mind about a small item he reduced the bill even though it was our decision to change. To say that Adam was the joiner would be an understatement. As well as doing the joinery, he coordinated the work of the others to fit with his work. Luke did a grand job of the plastering and floor leveling, the gas plumbing from Connor just fitted in seamlessly, and Lee fitted the tiles producing a lovely finish. Whenever we needed to discuss anything Georgia and the other Alex in the office were always helpful and knew who we were. All in all, a professional job and the personal touch producing two very happy and satisfied customers.

Tell them your ideal budget and they will accommodate and tailor a kitchen that works for you. Carringtons were the fourth company we contacted to get a quote/design for our kitchen, we decided to go with Carringtons because they listened to our wants and needs and Georgia was so helpful when we initially came into the showroom to discuss our plans. From start to finish Carrington’s surpassed our expectations, our kitchen looks amazing as it is everything and more than we expected. Absolutely over the moon with our kitchen. It was a large project as we had a wall knocked out and the kitchen made bigger with bi folding doors put in with an existing door blocked up. From the start we were helped with the design and selection of alliances by a knowledgable team.The construction team were highly skilled and very professional. The project was finished in the timescale we were given and the project manager was in contact with us all the way through ensuring we were happy with the work. The work was completed to a very high standard and the kitchen looks amazing we couldn’t be happier. Having all the work carried out by one team and project managed meant we didn’t have the stress of coordinating as it was all done by Carringtons. Carringtons installed our kitchen in early 2022. We're so happy with the kitchen. The finish is great and the plastering etc. is very neat. They managed to fit us in fairly quickly and we even got an upgraded oven for free because the one we chose was not in stock. They have lots of options to choose from, and can help you choose what works for your kitchen. We never felt they tried to 'upsell', instead focusing on giving us the best kitchen for our budget. They managed to fit in some additional storage space above the refrigerator and maximise the space next to an awkward bulkhead. They arranged everything from plastering to electrics, including fitting a new consumer unit and replacing the ceiling lights. We were happy with the price, although we went a bit over budget to go for a quartz worktop which looks perfect.

Having them do the whole install- electrics, plumbing, plastering, tiling, joinery meant we could relax and let them get on with things! Our kitchen is finally finished, it looks fantastic and we love it. As with all projects some things don’t always go to plan but the last fix problems with electrics have been resolved and we are absolutely delighted. We have to congratulate Carringtons’ team on the system they work to, which meant we knew what would be happening at each stage of the project and that’s really appreciated when you’re cooking on a camping stove in the garage and washing up in the downstairs loo. We have to say a special thankyou to Adam who went out of his way to ensure that everything was perfect, and managed to stay relaxed even after a wasted journey on a Friday evening. Thankyou Adam. Finally It goes without saying, we would recommend Carringtons to anyone who is contemplating a kitchen renovation.

We’ve just had our kitchen completely refitted and are delighted with the results! A five star design, impeccable service and reliable communication made our kitchen project an enjoyable experience. One thing we needed for our project was some building work prior to fitting the kitchen and luckily Carringtons were able to carry this out too as well as taking care of the project management from start to finish. We were really happy with the service received throughout. We felt this was something missing from your so called ‘high street’ kitchen brands such as Wren, Wickes, Howdens etc who were simply going through the motions with our design process. The family run aspect of the business leaves you feeling with a more personalised service and the team at Carringtons really work with you to get all the little details just right. Communication was first class with regular updates throughout. The team of tradesmen and fitters were all great to work with too and were punctual, polite and tidy. They all worked to a high standard and were very efficient. Overall the finished product we received was just what we were looking for and we are so pleased with the quality. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Carringtons for kitchens :)

Carrington's managed our smallish kitchen fit from start to end including all the trades - fitters, plumber, electrician and plasterer. The few issues and queries that arose along the way were addressed immediately and without any quibble. On first contact Lawrence and Georgia were open to our ideas and also firm in their view of what would and what would not work helping us to visualise what our kitchen could look like maximising the space we have. Both Lawrence and Georgia obviously have a great deal of passion in what they do and that shows in their enthusiasm. In contrast we had approached a couple of other local kitchen planners\fitters and they really could not be bothered.

They removed a wall, moved the electric consumer unit, dropped the ceiling and replastered all walls and ceiling. The price was very competitive and all work by the differing tradesmen was completed in a professional manner. Carringtons provided a first class service from start to finish. Steve came to our home to discuss our thoughts on our new kitchen ideas and measure up. Just a few days later an appointment was made in the showroom where Harry had created the CAD design and Steve sat down and went through every aspect of the kitchen design, allowing us to make any changes ( although for us it was virtually exactly as we wanted). Once agreed, it was only a matter of weeks before Adam, who headed the installation, arrived with a fantastic team of plumbers, electricians, plasterer and tiler. Everyone was extremely professional and kept us up to date with all stages of the fitting. Having a kitchen fitted is quite an upheaval for a family home but throughout the installation process everyone made this as stress-free as possible. Harry was available at all times and I can't recommend Carringtons highly enough for value, service and professionalism. They were also very local to us and it was important to us to provide business to a local firm and you certainly get that care you'd hope for when your kitchen is fitted. Thank you everyone involved. I must have contacted around 7 companies to survey, and quote for my complete kitchen refit. Carringtons were by far the most stand-out company among the group. Their in depth survey and discussion around pain points, combined with detailed renders of what the finished product would look like, and a comprehensive breakdown of exactly where the quoted price was coming from put them head and shoulders above the rest. During the project, they kept the site as tidy as possible, and being a bit of a control freak, they were happy to update me on what they were working on, and what the next steps would be. The fitter was excellent and catered for my "house that Jack built", leaving everything snug and level at project completion. Their project management of other high-quality contractors was also fab, I was never in the dark about who would be coming and when. Post-project care has been spot on, and true to their word, they have checked in long after completion to see how everything is holding up. Overall, really happy with every stage of the process and I would highly recommend them above others in the area!

Carringtons have recently fitted a new kitchen and bathroom for me and I would highly recommend them. I moved out while they completed the work (including removing walls and installing new ceilings and flooring) and it was amazing to be able to move back into my house after 3 weeks and not have to worry about a thing. Joel and Harry are always on hand with updates and are a real credit to the company. Harry and Joel were very accommodating during the design process, making insightful suggestions to help us make key decisions. We received regular updates and clear documentation throughout the process to give peace of mind at each stage. So I had various quotes. What made me choose carringtons. Firstly they offered a complete service. From design to completion. Second was Lawrence's guidance re my choices and ideas. I had a vision and he made this a reality. The process was quoted to take two weeks and a day. They stuck to this bar a supply issue which was outta of thier control. pre visited with workmen to know what was needed . I feel I have to say Adam I'm in oar.. he came on day one, removed my kitchen stripped out everything and built partition wall. Even with other guys coming and going he was my constant. That first day he worked his little socks of... I'll be eternally grateful. Then Tony came on day two and the wall was out the rsj was in.. another special mention to luke he came on his holibob to plaster the space. Then Adam was back to install and helped with choices, nothing was to much trouble. Alot of kitchen companies can fit a good kitchen however the key to a really good one are the small things. Carringtons did this really well, a couple of examples of this were giving a free upgrade due to a supplier letting them down and coming to fit the washing machine 2 weeks after completion! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a new kitchen and just wanting to walk in a week or so later to a brand new kitchen fully fitted.

Not only did he organise the kitchen but also he project managed new external windows and doors, internal doors and new radiators throughout our home. He kept us up to date on what was happening. We was kept informed of key dates ect, we changed are design a couple of times and it was good to get advice and help from Harry and Joel , we also needed a new window and this was also arranged and sorted ,it was great we could leave everything in their hands , the guys who came and did electrics ,building work and the kitchen fitters were all freindly and tidy workers.i also asked for a couple of doors to be changed the other way round after been fitted and it was no problem and was done to my request. Carringtons designed and installed our new kitchen. They also undertook a full rewire of the kitchen, installed new lighting and skim plastered. The whole end-to-end process was pleasant and stress free. It was a one-stop-shop for all our needs. We revived a personal and attentive service – making us feel like we were their most important customer. 😊 Joel, the Principal Designer was very affable – nothing was too much trouble. As an ex-kitchen fitter, he could advise from a point of knowledge and experience – he knew what would and wouldn’t work and how to get the best out of the available space. He also has a great eye for design and created a truly standout feature with a run of built-in wall units (with 2 x ovens) that were sunk into the wall. It has certainly given the kitchen a wow factor. The fitting of the kitchen was excellent – many thanks to Stuart whose professionalism and fitting skills are second to none. The job was completed in a week and Stuart even worked the bank holiday Friday and Monday. Stuart discussed every aspect of the fitting, explained what he was planning to do each day and tidied up as he went. He even attached a vac to the wall to suck up dust as he core drilled for the extractor fan. Stuart is a perfectionist and gave me a millimetre perfect fit. I also commissioned Carrington’s to undertake the electrical, plastering and plumbing work. This removed a great deal of stress trying to co-ordinate the trades, especially when unexpected issues arise which may necessitate a revisit from one or more trades. The pricing was competitive and straightforward. No pressure selling and no gimmicks. (I detest dealing with the likes of Wickes, Wren, Magnet etc who have constantly changing prices due to ‘sales’. You never know if you’re getting a good deal or not). I would whole-heartedly recommend Carringtons and would choose them again for any future kitchen installation. We are bowled-over with our new kitchen - great design, quality units and superb fitting, coupled with excellent customer service at a reasonable price.

Cannot recommend this company highly enough. I am delighted with my kitchen which looks amazing. The whole process was extremely well organised and communication was excellent. All of the tradespeople who came to do the job were professional and courteous and worked really hard to get the job done. I must mention Joel and Harry who work in the show room and were my main point of contact throughout the kitchen design and fit. They are both so friendly and positive and never made me feel that I couldn’t mention anything despite many phone calls! It was their organisation and attitudes that made the job such a success. As with any project, there were minor snags on completion. Harry and Joel dealt with these promptly and got everything sorted. On the money side of things, I feel that my price was very reasonable and was more competitive than well known rivals and resulted in a kitchen that I love! Thank you all so much.
