Anna is a great teacher who has taught me loads of little tricks. She was very patient with me as I had no prior experience with upholstery. She was also very good with showing me the steps and what I need to do. The classes are very relaxed and I was able to learn at my own pace. Thanks to her teachings, I’ve also gone ahead and upholster a simple bench seat on my own. Couldn’t have done it with Anna. I’m definitely looking out for more projects to join more classes!

I’ve attended a a couple of workshops and had a wonderful day both times. Ania is a perfectionist and very happy to pass on her expertise in a very friendly and relaxed environment. If you’re at all creative and have a project to upcycle, you’ll not regret coming along!

I have done a saturrday class and a 6 week evening class and thoroughly enjoyed them. The classes are small, the atmosphere fun (but relaxed) and the teacher, Ania, is brilliant. She has lot of great ideas and guides you through your own project really well. One slight draw back is that there is nowhere to leave your project from week to week. However, the lovely Paul will assist with the carrying of your piece so no real problem... he also makes a great cuppa! Can thoroughly recommend the courses as a great way to learn a new skill in a fab atmosphere. Will be signing up for more classes though they fill up quickly.

I am on my third block of six week evening courses, and yesterday also did an all day course with Ania. I am transforming my third piece of furniture and am hooked! The courses are super. Expertly taught by a knowledgeable, talented and enthusiastic expert who is a fab and fun lady to spend an evening or day with. The classes are relaxed and fun, and Ania is good at challenging us to try something new or different to ensure we broaden our skills. Always excellent refreshments on offer and lunch on the day courses is a treat. Excellent value for money. I can’t wait for the next lesson already!

Love Ania's upholstery classes. I'm just starting my 3rd block of six week classes. Ania is very knowledgeable and despite choosing the most difficult material for my very curvy first project, I completed it and think it looks fab. I also now have the confidence to work on projects in my own time with her expert guidance!

I have completed 2 courses with Anya, she is always so supportive of my choice in chairs to upcycle. Both really difficult projects which required additional time and accommodated by Anya with private lessons also. Anya is a great teacher her classes are informative and fun a great couple of hours a week to relax and try your hand at a new skill. I would definitely recommend Anya and her courses and her work!

My Mum and I recently had a full days class with Ania and it was such a great day all round. We walked into it not really knowing what to expect, having had no experience with upholstery of any kind - yet Ania’s relaxed demeanour and evident skill both set us at ease, whilst enabling us to walk away with two awesome chairs. Her workshop is absolutely brilliant. Very well equipped, bright and airy, and the sizes of classes she runs mean everyone has plenty of space to work. Armed with a piece of furniture and your fabric of choice, Ania provides everything else you could possibly need. On top of that - the lunchtime spread was spot on. Not a cheese and pineapple cocktail hedgehog or cold party sausage roll in sight. Homemade chickpea and sweet potato curry with a host of delicious sandwiches, fresh salads and homemade fat-rascals. Absolutely brilliant 👍🏻 All in all a fantastic day, we’ll be booking on to another course in the near future and would recommend to anyone who’s thinking of getting into upholstery. Thanks Ania!
