Ciaran has been working on our house renovation, and has, so far, done three projects for my husband and I. One was fixing the poor workmanship of another carpenter, which was executed professionally and in a hassle free way. He really came to the rescue. The second was making some stunning bedside tables in fumed oak, which were made beautifully and with real passion. We love them. The third (and most recent) was a complete redesign and rebuild of wardrobes in two of our spare bedrooms (see, my (rather amateur) photos below). I have no hesitation in recommending Ciaran. He is clearly a talented and creative carpenter, with an eye for detail and design. He has a real passion for working with wood, and we particularly enjoyed working with him on the bedside tables, which we adore. The wardrobes were a spectacular transformation (the old ones were unimaginative and wonky). We have been so pleased with Ciaran’s work that he is lined up for another furniture project, which we are looking forward to.

Ciaran stepped in at the last minute to enable the new kitchen to go ahead. He worked really well with his then new colleague, saved the day and did a great job. It wasn’t easy as no walls were straight, fitting was a bit of a nightmare and the pressure was onto finish quickly. He was always calm, good natured & reassuring to an anxious client.

I would highly recommend Ciaran who built a dining table for me. I sent Ciaran a few images for ideas and he came back with some working drawings and suggestions. The initial design was out of budget but he suggested alternatives to bring the piece back into budget. He is a highly skilled craftsman, and I'm very happy with his work.

Ciaran's work is excellent. He built part of my new kitchen and finished the cupboards and drawers to a very high standard indeed. The decorator I engaged to paint them commented on how excellent the workmanship was, and I have had many compliments from friends and family as well. This led me to re-engage Ciaran twice to build shelves - for my bedroom and then for a rather awkward hall cupboard. Again the quality was excellent. When I decided in the bedroom that I wanted three shelves rather than four, it was no trouble for Ciaran to take the top shelf down and put it in the hall cupboard for me, and most recently he has fitted more shelves in the cupboard to blend in with some existing shelves. I highly recommend Ciaran. He is professional, responsive, a great carpenter and I think he prices very reasonably. I will certainly be re-engaging him in future.

I was given one of Ciaran's fantastic chopping boards as a gift over Christmas. I was delighted! This chopping board now sits pride of place in my kitchen where it's sturdy look and great design fit in well. The board is very strong and doesn't stain! Really beautiful product. I would highly recommend. Ciaran is now one of my top three carpenters nestled between Jesus and Karen.

Ciaran’s work is not only beautifully crafted but strong and reliable. I purchased a chopping board from him for my boyfriend who loves to cook and it has proved to be the best one we’ve ever had. Nothing stains it...not even beetroot! It can withstand all manner of food prep and it looks gorgeous in our kitchen! He even added personalised initials on the edges for that extra touch! Would highly recommend his work to anyone!

Made me a fitted wardrobe for my small flat. Very good and timely experience fitting around my needs. Well spoken and organised young carpenter - cute dog too. Would book him again as definitely easier than putting together flat pack furniture myself!
