Reviews of DEBRA Furniture & Electrical
I was in the shop for 20 minutes browsing and the whole time the staff member was on the phone to her friend complaining about her ‘job’ & management. When I proceeded to ask her a question, she had an attitude & her behaviour was as such that she clearly didn’t want to be there. Don’t volunteer then, simple. Volunteers are the foundation of charity’s such as these, such a shame they have an unprofessional demeanour, judging by my experience & other reviews. However, the shop had a variety of items from furniture to mirrors, and were very well priced. I wouldn’t want to give a bad review for this shop as it’s a charity but also trying to spread awareness about this entitled behaviour from volunteers which hopefully you won’t have to experience.
I just bought a small wall hang lovely and the people working in too are nice.
The gentleman who picked up the Furnishings were very polite and friendly and on time
Reasonable collection of second hand furniture at fair prices
Well stocked. Not as cheap as some but worth a visit
Spacious place with a good selection of various items on display.
Some good bits and very helpful staff
Wonderful selection of items at great prices
Best charity furniture shop around
great place. Aladdin's cave.
Good place to look for furniture
Shopped in June 2021, served by Manager who was extremely helpful. Highly recommend this store as they have furniture price's plus delivery cost are reasonable. Value for money. Will buy again.
lots of stock electrical and furniture,
Good stuff
Really helpful and polite would highly recommend shopping here
In shop before and after covid opening up. Spoke to Mgr. who has always been exceptionally good. Happy with pre-owned furniture.
They have a good collection service you can book by phone/email for large items you wish to donate and the store itself is big for a charity shop. However, I would actually avoid the store itself as the staff there could be more professional; I could hear a member of staff talking about me in the back room while I waited for him and another staff member left me to wait for his colleague rather than attend to my need himself.
All fine - they came and collected some furniture from my second floor flat. Only thing I would say is that the guy who answered the phone clearly doesn't like his job! I wouldn't go as far to say rude but he sounded like he needed a cuddle. Anyway - would use again.
I got a bargain bookcase and a bedside cabinet, not as much choice as I hoped for but it depends what's donated :)
Great store, very polite and helpful staff, fantastic prices. I can't wait to go back and look around. Great Store Manager.
Very good charity shop that supports an excellent small charity. There is parking on the side of the shop to allow for unloading and loading
A good selection of house hold items some a tad on the expensive side for the quality however all for a good cause
Great company. Collected items when they said. Friendly guy on the end of the phone.
