What a great find. A good selection of second hand furniture, in a reasonable condition for sensible prices. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It's a bit of a hike from Durham but if I was in the local area I'd definitely call in again.

I recently gave away several items of IKEA furniture to Orange Box. Contact with the office staff was friendly and helpful, hence the 3 stars. However one of the guys who turned up to collect the items turned his nose up and made comment that he hated flat pack furniture. At the end of the day, members of the public donate these items they have paid for for FREE and Orange Box sell them on - surely giving any donation should be appreciated as long as it's in good condition. And at very least shouldn't be sneered at. Not sure what they're expecting for free - Italian hand crafted marble?

Went there to help a friend look for a fire surround. There was a choice of 3. We plumped for one at a cost of £35 + £5 delivery. Interesting to browse around.

Great selection of quality furniture at very reasonable prices. Got a nice compact pine corner unit today for £15, amazing value. Staff were very kind and helped me carry it out. There is also a selection of general miscelleanous goods such as electricals, dvds, books, ceramics and other odds and ends, again all at greateprices. I would 100% recommend a visit if you are looking for a sofa, coffee table, chest of drawer, beds, units, chair and even office furniture.

Absolutely ideal for anyone with a low budget. We got good furniture for £23 and then had both items delivered for £5. They delivered it within 30 minutes which was outstanding. Lovely people, awesome service!

A great place to go if you need low priced furniture. We went along because we were looking for a small cupboard /table to put our printer on. We found exactly what we wanted for only £25. It's made from beautiful timber and in perfect condition. Anywhere else they would have charged an arm and a leg for it. The turnover for items is very quick so if you see something you like, don't hang around as it will be snapped up before you know it!!

A gem of a place. Fantastic staff doing fantastic work. The amount of stock hey have is amazing. An Alladin's cave. Fab prices on absolutely all sorts of furniture. They have literally everything you can think of...but it is first come first serve so you have to be quick. Check for updates on their Facebook page and see photos of new stock coming in. They also deliver for a fee which is a cheap as the prices for their stock. You can put deposits on stuff but there is a time limit which is only fair for everyone. Easy to get to at Brough Park Industrial Estate at Byker, the East End of Newcastle. Absolutely wonderful place with wonderful people.

Not many people know this place exists, it's cheaper than any charity shop...a 3 door wardrobe would cost a quarter, compared to high street charity shops and you get a discount if you are in benefits...I tell all my friends and family. The people who do the voluntary work are lovely and kind and genuine...can't fault orange box at all
