Really lovely non pushy staff. They listen to what you want and help. Amy was wonderful sales lady. Found an excellent bargain on a sisl Italian leather with a power recliner. Looked at many other sofa shops, SCS could not be matched Very happy customers. Would will use them again.

We made an appointment to visit the ScS Northampton Store to-day. Myself my Husband and my Sister....we were looking for a new Sofa. This really was a pleasure. The store was immaculately clean - we were asked to gel up when we entered and we already had our masks on as did the staff - it really felt like a really very safe environment- we were greeted by a member of staff who made us feel genuinely very welcome. There was a great choice of Sofa's at excellent prices and great quality and value for money.... so it was a tough choice but we got there in the end.... and chose a lovely sofa that I am sure we will be very happy with. A lovely young Gentleman by the name of Adam help us - he was really brilliant - so helpful without being pushy and was very knowledgeable in answering all our questions....which were many.... he really went the extra mile. We would like to say a very special thank you to Adam for being so kind to us oldies - nothing was to much trouble and you could tell he really enjoyed helping us.... he really is a credit to ScS Northampton. We would like to say a very special thank you to Terry the Manager and the young Lady who were really lovely and very helpful and kind... and also went the Extra mile to help us - What a brilliant team. We had spent over 6 months searching for our new sofa, and popped in here on the off chance. The Manager spent over an hour with us, discussing our requirements and even moving the show room around to give us an idea of space. He wasnt pushy... just helpful with a good sense of humour. We are expecting our new sofa this month, so I hope to update shortly that delivery was also as smooth.

So far. The representative in store was very helpful in helping us and as we couldn’t quite make up our minds carpet samples were offered to take home. Which we did. Pricing seem very good we were offered a fitter to come and check measurements which was fine and in fact lowered our price in comparison to our own measurements. So worth doing. Carpet not fitter as yet. So can’t comment on that as yet.

It was my first time in SCS store For a very long time I was pleasantly surprised how friendly the staff were. I am a disabled person so they helped me look around. I bought my sofas . I also got a good bargain. I got a beautiful chair very cheap. Well happy. I would recommend them.

Well deserved 5 stars especially after visiting quite a few furniture companies. Adam at Northampton was an absolute delight and a cut above your archetypal salesman. Thoughtful, well informed and certainly knows the stock and what would best suit me. All Covid precautions well managed and felt safe in the shop. Highly recommended.

The ordering process was straight forward enough & was largely completed by the sales assistant. What she did not say was that SCS do not have a collect from store option any more. Collect from Coventry warehouse or have it delivered for £30 is the only option (bit steep as you can get a fridge-freezer delivered for £10.) Then you are offered a fitting option (when I intended fitting it myself) but having to pay £30 anyway, another £15 does not seem too bad.........but it is now an additional 33% on top of the carpet price!!!! Not as cheap as it first appeared - dissappointed!! Reply to SCS: I don't see how mixing with sales assistants, store managers, carpet fitters & a door person when you choose your carpet is any different when you come to the same store to collect it????

From entering the store to leaving at the end the staff were very professional. We we made to feel very welcome by all. The whole process of purchasing and ordering and was explained, including the individual components of the costs until a very reasonable total was reached. I only came in to look for a suite and thanks to the combination of children and the staff I walked out with a suite and await the arrival of the same now. Thanks for all the help Paul.

I visited SCS Northampton on Wednesday 1st july with my daughter-in-law and was greeted by the manager . He directed us around the store as we said we just wanted to look as suites. I went back to the one I liked and he asked Adam to help me. I settled on the suite I wanted and Adam was very helpful and took my order. Very pleased with the service from the Northampton store and the salesman Paul who was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout our purchase to the point of turning a sofa upside down to show us the construction quality, and arranging an extra discount on top of the sales price because we were cash buyers. Just ordered a Lazyboy suit. Staff were brill. Couldn't have been more helpful. Let us have plenty of time to look around and try things. Delivery expected 14 to 16 weeks. Have been to 3 other places. Both were a bit over helpful and pushy. Two much more expensive for the same thing. One cheap but not the suite we wanted or the colour and wouldn't listen. 16 weeks on delivered on time. Exactly what we ordered. Delivery people very helpful and understanding. Couldn't have had better service. Would definately use them again. The Last one has lasted 20 years. Only replacing it as one of our dogs chewed it. Let's hope this one does as well.

After going in near to there closing time we didnt feel rushed at all Terry made us feel so relaxed and welcome when serving us you would have thought it was the middle of the day and instead of telling us what we want they listened to what we wanted and didnt want with alot of helpful points and tips we wasent rushed at all into purchasing anything. Terry himself is a brilliant sales rep funny and honest and not pushy at all what more could you ask for overall would highly recommend this company if anyone is thinking of buying a new sofa and if you can see terry at Nene valley retail park Northampton
