Hollygate Upholstery have done an amazing job with our much loved but tired and saggy sofas! Quick estimate after initial communication via email followed by a home visit - it was lovely to meet both Michael and Danielle who were very helpful throughout the whole process. Took us a while to decide on fabric - the choice is huge but we were able to borrow books/swatches to see them in situ. All so worth it in the end as we are really pleased with both the fabric and the complete reconstruction of our sofas which now look like new and are so comfy!

I have used hollygate upholstery a couple of times now. The first when we were in lock down and I decided that rather that buy a new sofa I asked them to recover and plump up my old one . I was not disappointed. They did a fantastic job and my new cushions will last me another few years rather than buying a new one . My next project was to see if they could do anything with an old leather chair that I bought second hand but was well loved and a time piece. I had kept it in my conservatory so the leather had dried so badly. I a, not sure if 8. An post photos but if I can I will. My husband wanted to take it to the tip!! But no. I approached hollygate and Michael showed me what he could do to restore it. So I left it with him and four weeks later my chair came back completely restored. The leather had been treated in such a way that it was like a new chair. My husband even said he didn’t think it was the same chair. But it was.. I would definitely recommend them . You won’t be disappointed .

Simply cannot get through to the business - attempted to call several different times on different days (business days) and getting nowhere, I'd suggest trying elsewhere personally - as I have had too. Amended this review - as the business owner and I have now touched base! :) I hadn't even considered the business being closed due to the intense heat - glad we were able to resolve amicably, and my review was initially left a little too hastily. We had our dining room chairs reupholstered & recovered along with two carvers that Michael sourced & repaired. The service Michael provided was second to none and we could not be happier with the finished result. The quality of the work was amazing, the prices are good and from start to finish the communication was excellent. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Michael and his services and are very glad that we chose him to work with.
