Visited the store several times over the last few weeks weighing up what we wanted. Firstly we was greeted by a lovely lady called Hailey who is a credit to the company she welcomed us and talked us through all the options available and after care products. Unfortunately we wasn’t quite ready to make our decision then. When coming back to view the sofa of choice once more unfortunately Hailey wasn’t in. But wasn’t disappointed with our sales assistant on shift Steve. He was patient with how indecisive we were. Even offered us fresh coffees and cookies how lovely! He answered all our concerns and processed our order. I’ll update my review on receipt of order but for now really happy. My advise if your looking at shopping at furniture village Peterborough ask for either Hailey or Steve for a smooth shopping experience. Thanks again guys 👌🏻

Had a very pleasant visit to furniture village in Peterborough, great service from Adrian griffiths. While looking round the shop he was very informative about products and styles available. We Didn’t feel once pressured into buying anything or taking out protection, which have to say we did just for our own piece of mind. The sales people are not pushy, helpful, on hand and a great help. Special shout out to the gent who hooked us up with designer chairs in multiple colours which is above and beyond. The service experienced in the store was excellent - the suite was amazing. The problems arose on delivery. It was difficult o arrange from the Newark store - numerous calls and long waiting for responses. When the suite arrived it was damaged so they returned all the order to the warehouse. We did not want to wait again for the suite as the original delivery time was three months and we could not get hold of customer service to reorder.

I visited the Furniture Village Store in Peterborough yesterday and ordered some bedroom furniture. I more or less knew what I wanted but was not sure if it would all fit where I wanted it to in my bedroom. I spoke to a very helpful Sales Consultant, Graham R, who double checked my room plan and we soon sorted out what I needed to buy. He was very understanding that I preferred to use imperial measurement and not metric too! I made my purchase and now just have to await delivery of my new furniture. Thanks to Graham, it was a far less stressful experience than I thought and I felt that he really took the time to help me. Excellent customer service.

I have to admit we do like furniture Village! Especially after a bad experience with another well-known furniture purveyor. Quality and service just did not match this Store. The staff didn’t hound us, in fact they were all very helpful. Graham looked after us once we had decided on our purchase. We did the asking and he pointed us in the right direction in relation to the design and preferences, whilst explaining the builds and origins. We are looking forward to our bespoke collection of front room furniture, delivery in 16 weeks just in time for crimbo.

Very helpful member of staff, upon first visit Fiona was very knowledgeable about a product we liked and was not pushy at all giving us the time to go away, measure and return when we were ready. We went today, the store was busy, we were able to wait a short while for Fiona, who was busy with other customers, no one else approached us in store. Fiona remembered us and what we were after. When we walked into furniture village this afternoon, we had no intentions of buying anything. We wanted to look around and think about what Would appeal to us. After we had a walk around on our own for some time, a very pleasant lovely lady Christine Keith, who.. Even though we had not planned to make a purchase on this day, we ended up placing an order. We did not feel pressured or enticed at all. But her attitude was amazing. She offered to help us with whatever we needed. She offered freshly baked cookies to us and was really kind and went on to ask us if there was a particular sofa we were interested in. She explained about the sale offers on a particular sofa we had shown interest in and worked out what it would cost us. She made us very comfortable. She was easy to talk to and very proffessional. We visited Furniture Village Peterborough on the search for a new sofa. On arrival at the store our temperatures were taken, which during the current climate made us feel safe to be inside the store. We looked around and found a sofa that we liked and whilst looking we were approached by Christine. She was friendly, polite and professional, it was like we were discussing the sofa with a friend rather than a sales person. Christine listened to what we wanted and told us what our option were, we were given full prices and we left the store to visit the other stores in the area. We didn’t get the same level of service that we got from Christine so we returned a day later to make our purchase. We were so impressed with Furniture Village Peterborough and Christine and we would highly recommend people visit here.

Originally came to the area to purchase our new sofa from another store, however thought we'd just pop into furniture village to see if they had a lamp table for our almost complete new lounge. The fact they had a sale on also got us in the door. We've never been to furniture village store before, so was expecting to be hounded by sales staff however it was the complete opposite to our expectations. We were able to look around without being disturbed. Not expecting to have our minds changed on the sofa we had decided on, it was. Christine Keith was very friendly, offered us a hot drink and cookie then left me & my partner to discuss the sofa measurements, the functioning of the recliner in our lounge & how it would look with existing furniture. Once we had decided this was the sofa for us, Christine offered practical advice and so much knowledge on the material, long term wear and tear as well as other advice about this particular sofa. We also decided on a lovely coffee table with matching lamp table. After totalling up the price, it was a bit out of our price range, however Christine was able to bring the package into our price range & offer free delivery too, (bonus)! I've given this review 4 stars as we haven't finished the whole process yet however I feel confident that if the customer service is anything like in store, then the whole service will be exceptional. I'd definitely recommend giving furniture village a look if you are seeking home furniture.

Went Saturday with my partner, were treated by very friendly staff, were delt with by Steven and Christine, but everyone in the shop was very knowledgeable and helpful. Found a lovely sofa but also went to all other sofa companies in the retail parks. But went back to furniture village and ended up ordering two sofas. They explained all offers and ways to buy them, gave us all options on the sofas. Having spent the last number of weeks at every store possible in Peterborough, this man far excelled his competitors. Lovely quality furniture with good guarantees, not pushy with added things such as Safeguard. Once ordered, full explanation of the invoice, what is ordered itemising cost for every item. Great follow up service too. You feel a valued customer, not just a number.

Brilliant service from the second we walked in the door and the immediate helpful directions to the department we wanted and asking us if we would like a tea or coffee, This was followed by very helpful but not immediately intrusive staff who helped us with all the information we needed to buy items we had come in to look at and useful info about the services they offered, home build of the wardrobes we ordered, which although chargeable was well worth the cost to save us the hassle. We were offered discounts on items we bought and the interest free credit option was clearly explained when we asked about it.
