Visited 3 other establishments in search for coffee table that suited our requirements .Happy to find one ( half price) .Excellent manner and service from sales guy Matt. .".No hard selling" Plus we were able to take the item immediately No waiting for weeks.

Staff kept out of our way but were available for questions when needed, knowledgeable and not pushy. Good selection of bed manufacturers (which we were looking for). Coffee was available and all the purchasing options were explained.

It is so refreshing to deal with a company who genuinely regard customer satisfaction as a priority. This was the first time we had used this company and have been very pleased with the help we always received from any of the staff we met. We have had a few issues with the quality of some items of a dining set we ordered from Furniture World and they have been patient and consistent in trying to resolve all issues to our satisfaction. The Store Manager and Leanne have always been helpful by keeping us informed of the progress and arrival dates of replacement furniture. Furniture World would definitely be our first choice when we next need furniture (if they will have us back).

I've just purchased a bed from Furniture World and I must say the customer service was exceptional. The bed was in the sale and heavily discounted, a real bargain. On the plus side, they delivered it free. As a real supporter of local companies, it's nice to get that personal touch. The staff always make you feel like your purchase matters. We had a slight problem with a bed we bought 10 months ago. There was no quibble, they changed it. Leanne from the Plymouth branch was fantastic throughout, excellent service, updated throughout the process and the delivery guys were excellent too. Due to the long wait on our table Don delivered us one of his own spare ones until ours arrived out of the goodness of his heart!! This really helped us out over the Christmas period, Thanks Don!

Matthew from Furniture World was very helpful in assisting us in choosing a reclining chair. He was polite and friendly and gave us wonderful service. Delivery was right on time and the driver even assembled the chair and tested it was in good working order. They took away our old chair. Ten out of ten for the whole thing!! We purchased an ex display suite from furniture world, unfortunately it developed a spring/manufacturing fault. Their customer service dept (especially Leane) dealt with it in a very professional way, and fully resolved the problem to our satisfaction. Wouldn't shop anywhere else for furniture!!! After some bad experiences with OTHER retailers - both myself and my partner would NOW not consider buying furniture from anywhere else and cannot recommend the Team at Furniture World enough. We have visited both the Plymouth and Truro stores - the staff are fantastic and always very helpful, the range on offer is just brilliant. They know their stuff...we will be back soon I am sure.

Recently purchased some copper accessories for my living room, we looked everyone and found the perfect light & clock here. The staff even staffed on late to take extra care to bubble wrap and package my purchases. The staff were all really attentive and friendly and I will definitely be going back again as they have a huge section of beautiful accessories aswell as furniture.

Can highly recommend Ben, we purchased a silentnight mattress from here. He was not pushy but attentive when we wanted help. The purchase wasnt without its hiccups but Ben's aftercare service was fantastic and he went above and beyond to resolve, phoning us even on his day off! Would highly recommend buying from Ben. Great customer service! One of my sofas cushion zip broke 6/9 months after purchasing them from furniture world so I got in contact hoping for there help. They quickly got the situation resolved and sent us a whole new sofa cushion and always stayed in contact throughout the whole process.

Hi I bought a lovely table & chairs from furniture world unfortunately there was a problem with base of table. The customer service was absolutely excellent, Richard & his colleague came out this morning to put Table & Chairs together when there was a problem with base of table, they came out again in afternoon to replace the base of the table. Found exactly what we were looking for at a great price. Delivered 2 days later but unfortunately it would not fit through the door. Don went above and beyond to sort out a glasier to remove lounge window and return with the delivery guys a week later to lift it in. Sofas look beautiful very happy.thanks guys.

What a pleasure to do business with, not only are they happy to let you look around in piece without constantly trying to sell you something when we wanted information the chap was knowledgeable and polite and saved use £400 compared to the multi national next door where when we asked them for information they simply read to me what it said on the advertising card although I am also able to read. Not the best shop in the world, but not the worse, and not a great range of products. That said worth adding to your list of shops to visit if you are looking for new furniture. Plus side not getting jumped on as soon as you step through the door by pushy salesmen, negative side not a very large selection of goods.
