I’ve recently purchased a sofa from furniture village. If you’re thinking of buying a sofa or anything from here then ask for Alison! She helped us choose the perfect sofa to fit our lounge. The one we originally wanted wouldn’t have fit the room but she suggested an alternative which was even better. Her knowledge of the products and customer service is excellent. The quality of the sofa is miles better than all the ones we viewed at other stores. Happy customer!

First spoke on the phone as he went to check the sofa we had been in to see was still available. Went back a few days later and Abdul helped us load the sofa into our van. Good range of furniture on display. No pressure from friendly sales staff, but good product knowledge. This is the 2nd time I've used them and although lead times can be significant, they are honest and up-front about them. Inevitably when they are a large scale operation you can sometimes wait to get in touch- but for me, they are the best example of this kind of furniture outlet if you want the benefit of lower prices for decent quality furniture.

Furniture village in Preston Capitol Retail Park - Popped in for a few bits, some of which I was able to take home that day and some of which I needed to order for delivery. Ryan Chapman approached me and was very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and professional, he went above and beyond by helping me to fit some of the furniture items I took away that day into my car which he didn’t have to do. Such a down to earth sales rep that knew exactly how to tailor the experience to meet my needs and from what I could see, was able to do so with any customer he had dealings with.

I can't recommend the Furniture Village at the Capitol Centre, Preston highly enough. The showroom is large, with lots of beds. I wanted a new matress and Peter recommended I try a selection of beds, based on the requirements I'd discussed with him. He told me I'd know the right one straight away and he was absolutely correct! He was wonderfully helpful and had a wealth of knowledge. I ordered the matress and didn't have to wait long for delivery. I was kept informed every step of the way and the delivery time was within the stipulated window. Colin and Chris were great. It was a big matress to manoeuvre upstairs, but they did it! They were also kind enough to wrap and carry my old matress back downstairs too! I've had the most perfect 3 nights sleep in my new bed. Furniture Village - you have a star working in your Preston Branch. This is Alison Kerr. She from start to finish has been exceptional. Taking the order for me during the pandemic, giving me regular updates and even when under pressure of having no computer systems has gone above and beyond to get me my garden furniture - even when the original item went missing she went above and beyond to find me my item via another one in stock. She always called me to keep me updated and Alison looks after her clients. She should be rewarded working through a pandemic and with no computer systems for 6 weeks. Amazing Service from Alison but Furniture Village as a company could do better. Alison deserves a raise and support as she is a credit to the company - look after her.

We visited the Preston showroom just after lock down was lifted and everything was in place to adapt to the new guidelines without feeling uncomfortable. We were helped by Chris to choose a lovely velvet sleigh bed frame and dining table & chairs - he wasn't at all pushy but informative and nothing was too much trouble. Admittedly it's frustrating having to wait several weeks for delivery due to the bottleneck created by COVID but it was well worth it when our items were delivered and assembled today by two lovely guys, Lee and Ady. They kept us updated on delivery time and when they arrived they were extremely pleasant and efficient whilst adhering to all hygiene and social distancing regs with ease, yet answering all our questions on the items we'd bought. They removed all the packaging and left the house like new. The furniture is fantastic quality and we're delighted with the end to end service we've received.

We ordered a new G-Plan sofa from here which should arrive in 11 weeks due to the covid backlog. It was really quick and easy although we had already been three weeks earlier to look at what was on offer. We chose a sofa and chair but had to go back home and measure up for the chair as we have an awkward space to fill in the lounge/diner, turns out we couldn't fit that in without blocking a double doorway. We ordered some colour samples online and decided on a colour, which we then decided against when we went back in store. Thankfully we found another slimmer swivel chair with minimalist foot rest in an ideal size to fit the awkward space but it is costing as much if not slightly more than the three seater sofa. We chose to go with part cash, part credit over three years to spread the cost. Over all we found what we were looking for and spent more than anticipated but with G-Plan you get the assurance of a 20 year frame guarantee. The sales consultant was very friendly and not pushy and allowed us to leave and return with no pressure selling. We were offered extra's but this wasn't pushed to the point where you feel uncomfortable. Over all we are pleased so far with the purchase process and really looking forward to getting our new sofa and chair.

However, the manger Rob (who was not in charge at the time of us ordering) could not do enough to help sort the issue out. Me and my partner had an excellent experience when we went sofa shopping at the Furniture Village, Preston. We initially went for just a sofa but ended up buying a new bed, a new mattress & pillows as well! Mike and Danny provided excellent customer service and advice and went above and beyond to make it a good experience. We were probably in there for the majority of the day on Saturday weighing up options and Mike and Danny made everything easy and both were very patient. We can't wait for our new furniture to arrive and would DEFINITELY come back here for anything else I need. All of it is really good quality and the customer service is second to none. Having spent time looking online and perusing several furniture stores we decided today to visit Furniture Village Preston to purchase a Gplan sofa. We were attended by Danny who was very approachable and knowledgeable about products in the store. He allowed us time to decide what we wanted and was very understanding when halfway through the purchase I exercised my woman’s prerogative to change my mind and checked out another sofa to ensure we had picked the right one! Danny advised us every step of the way and explained all the paperwork thoroughly before we signed on the dotted line. We were especially grateful that he was able to arrange for us to take full advantage of the BH sale offers but not have our new sofa delivered until October when our building project will hopefully be completed. He was completely accommodating in every way. It was also very nice to meet Mike, the manager who thanked us for our purchase today. The showroom is inviting - light, airy and plenty to choose from for your home. The staff we met today offered assistance without being overbearing and we felt under no pressure to buy. All were friendly and helpful at every turn. Thanks to Danny and Mike. We’re looking forward to taking delivery of our new sofa in due course. I visited furniture village on the 9th January after the shop was recommended to me. After decorating my lounge I was in need of a new sofa. I found the perfect sofa within 10 mins of being in the showroom. Alison Kerr looked after me she talked to me in great detail about the settee I was looking at. She gave me time to look around and wasn’t pushy at all. Alison’s customer service skills were absolutely brilliant she is a credit to your store. Alison was extremely professional when placing my order making sure everything was 100% accurate. I was extremely delighted by my visit and will recommend Alison & furniture village to my friends. I went to the store for the first time to browse. As I have back problems, lumbar support is the main requirement so I have to sit on a lot of sofas! Alison, who is a lovely lady, assisted with her knowledge of the stock in store. I choose two and took some time selecting the fabric! I then looked at lounge and dining room furniture. Having told Alison what I was looking for she pointed out those that ticked the boxes and also produced flyers and costings on others not in store. She provided coffee and cookies. I purchased some products nearly 12 months ago, two of the items had faults, one was damaged on arrival and needed replacing and one fixing. Promises where continually made and not honoured despite calls and face to face visits to the store. Of course add covid in to the mix and it got worse. If you would have ask me at the beginning of the week my review would have been 1 however after speaking to a sales rep on Wednesday sorry I've forgotten his name and then to the store manager Chris today it's clear there has been a restructure and the customer service was fantastic. Complete honesty about the issues, one has been resolved and the other is booked in plus compensation for our troubles.

Just had my sofa bed and wardrobe delivered very happy with the quality of the goods and service received from the delivery guys and the store nothing was to much hassle... now in the hunt for more furniture and ended going back to buy a sofa and table, Daniel was excellent in helping me pick my new furniture and to top it of... even thrown in a free table lamp from the clearance section which was a nice touch from him! 😀 Certainly recommend furniture village Preston, location is easy to get to and free parking also!! We had problems with our two sofas after delivery. We didn’t find them as comfortable as the one we tried in the showroom. Also one of them had a damaged frame. Phil, the manager, has been superb at resolving our problems. We are now expecting replacement sofas in May. We can’t say the same for Furniture Villages customer service and are strong believers that customer service should be provided by the store and not a call centre.

Hi. We visited on the 8 September. Basicly we just wanted to get a overview of types and styles of leather Reclining settees. We had intended to get one in the new year. The choice and quality is amazing. A rep approached us she was friendly enough in a none pushy way. Her name badge introduced her as Alison. Alison soon identied the styles we where looking for. Alison left us to peruse the settees with no pressure at all. Later, we where asked did we need further ihelp. I joked we where still testing the settees. We were offered coffee and cookies. The store isn't very big, but they do seem to cover most furniture requirements.. I have no reservations in recommend this store to family and friends. Furniture Village was clean, warm and friendly with a good stock of quality unites to view and test. And yes we did purchase a Settee. We couldn't resist the price and quality. Thanks Alison. 10/10 again Alison! Over the moon yet again with your service. We were in the market for a new sofa. We were chatting with friends that they recommended Alison at Furniture Village Preston as they had recently bought some furniture from Alison and found her very pleasant to deal with. My partner and I headed to the store and had a browse round, we thought we’d ask for Alison in a little bit, it all felt very relaxed and comfortable place to be. After a little while a lady came over and offered her help, it turned out it was Alison. We happened to mention about our friends and by the way Alison spoke, it was clear she remembered them – now this kind of personal service is what we look for. Yes quality and price are important, but when we’re about to spend a lot of money, we like to enjoy the process and with Alison we actually enjoyed handing over our hard earned cash (well the debit card)! Alison was extremely helpful, had such an extensive knowledge of the products and got on our wavelength. We bought a sofa from Alison that visit and have been thrilled to bits with it. Fast forward to more recently and we wanted a new dining suite and so our first thoughts turn to Alison. Chris and I headed down to the store and spotted Alison who was with some other customers. Alison clocked us and gave us that kind of smile as if to say “Hi, you’re back again” as in she clearly recognised us. We wandered around and Alison came over when she was available, she actually remembered our names, now that impressed us! That to us is good business! Needless to say, that visit ended with us ordering our new suite after settling on a Central Park dining suite and we love it! Superb service from Alison yet again, great quality and at a very reasonable price! Dad’s contemplating a new dining suite now and so to us it’s a complete no brainer – we will definitely be taking him to see Alison for one!

Me and my wife recently had a very large order delivered to our new home which included a Vispring divan set, Ercol dining, sofa and display units and could not be any happier with the quality of furniture and service we have received from entering the store to having our furniture delivered. As our delivery was between 6 and 10 weeks everything was delivered separately due to being from different suppliers so we was a little worried on having to keep chasing for updates but this was not the case Danny was superb in planning and sorting delivery dates out and made sure we had delivery dates in advance so I and my wife could plan to be there to take delivery of our goods. The delivery team where also fantastic delivering our items in our home, assembled them and went round our goods to make sure we was happy with the quality we had received, delivery is £60.00 but is worth it when they do everything for you. Danny our consultant from the Preston store also called us the very next day to make sure everything was ok with the delivery we had received and advised us he would send a 10% voucher so we could use this on our next order which was a very nice touch! Now in the market for wardrobes so will certainly return to furniture village to have a look what they offer on the wardrobe section. Upon purchase staff instore at Preston were excellent very friendly professional and helpful. What let the side down was after sales care. I opted for a Sunday delivery and was allocated a 9-11 timeslot. The delivery didn't arrive so I phoned the delivery team who were closed on a Sunday and the call was diverted to an answer machene. I phoned the store in Preston and spoke to Simon who told me he would make some enquiries and phone me back, he didn't. A bit of a dissapointed with that, my bed arrived later in the day so no need for such an early get up on a Sunday.

Went to furniture village, preston yesterday in need of furniture for our lounge and was served by Danny who guided us around the shop to see which best matched our sizes and in leather, colour green initally we found nothing until we came accross the compact range which was the perfect colour and size for our room and was even better when Danny offered interest free credit to us which we took advantage off! Good service all round special thank you to samir aswell who made me feel at home with us both being from the same country thank you Danny and Samir hope to see you again soon.
