What can I say after waiting over 25 years for an AGA it has finally arrived not in the lovely red I would have wanted as its been discontinued but in the very nice aubergine. The Edwards & Godding team could not have been any more helpful and very professional the fitting team were amazing and very tidy. I am looking forward to many years or Aga use - typical that its been installed during a rather hot April week but nevertheless its going to be fabulous. Thank you Team Edwards & Godding

Incredible to find a company that not only helps you to build your kitchen but also helps you to cook. The cooking demonstrations they organise on the AGA by wonderful presenters like Penny Zako are incredibly informative. Wonderful service from Edwards and Godding. Incredibly helpful customer service to figure out which AGA to buy for us (not the most expensive one either). Very prompt site visit to make sure space etc all in place. We were very lucky and got an AGA from Stock so from saying yes we would like to buy it - it was installed less than two weeks later. Installation including capping Gas and removal of old cooker took under 3 hours. Needless to say we absolutely love the AGA and would highly recommend Edward and Godding.

Communications and planning could have been better. Product came with a component missing and another fitted incorrectly. Possibly not the fault of E&G but could have been checked before delivery. My Mercury oven isn’t the best designed product with more than enough niggles than I would expect on a product of this price. Team are all very friendly and try hard. Ok but experience overall could have been better but will put much of it down to supply issues.

When I contacted Edwards and Godding about purchasing a new electric Aga, Ed took a lot of time to explain to me all about the various models. I was not pressurised into buying one but decided that I would. By request I was sent some colour samples. I had a site visit fairly soon and I am now in possession of a lovely eR7. Dates were chosen for when my old Aga was removed and the new one installed. Everything was done quickly and efficiently by competent and friendly chaps. I was a bit taken aback to have to pay for the Aga outright. Other than this, I cannot praise them highly enough, they have been superb throughout.

I am so glad that I chose Edwards & Godding (E & G) when considering buying an AGA. I was slightly overwhelmed with the many different AGAs available. However, after speaking with E & G they arranged to send someone out to have a look at my kitchen and advise further. Between us we chose the e3 90 AGA and one was promptly ordered. E & G kept me informed all the way from ordering to installing. The installers were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble for them. They went through the programmes with me and patiently answered my questions. Everything went so smoothly that there was no stress involved whatsoever. If you want a smooth uncomplicated, friendly service, and you want to come away with something that is suitable for you, then E & G are the ones to choose. A small family business with a tradition of excellence and who I totally recommend.

We purchased out lovely dark blue Aga this spring as part of our kitchen extension. Having had an Aga and a Rayburn from Edwards and Godding in 1981 and1987, in different properties I was itching to use my new Aga with an induction hob as well. The service from enquiry to installation went so smoothly. The Aga itself is a joy. So different from my original one. The convenience of being able to turn it on and get almost instant hotplate or to choose one of the many possibilities of the ovens is truly fantastic. In the summer we had our plates heated and dishes kept warm in the warming oven which was great. You don’t need an enormous farmhouse kitchen for one of the modern range of Agas but they do everything you could possibly want. Thank you Edwards and Godding, yet again first class.

Once again an extremely well organised Zoom Aga demonstration with Na Hansell cooking Simple Summer dishes on the aga. Na is a very experienced aga chef and delivers most informative and fun sessions with delicious recipes to try. The way the 3 cameras were set up enabled viewing of all stages of preparation and cooking. Recipes were sent out before the demonstration by Brenna which I find very useful; and both Na and Brenna were always on-hand to answer any queries. Thank you

Aug 2019 Through Edwards and Godding in Reading we recently replaced a 30 plus year old oil Aga with a 3 oven total control electric unit and added a new recirculating extractor over the aga. We are delighted with these although the ovens have had the main use so far. The key to the review however is to highly compliment E & G on the service they provided to ensure we had exactly what we needed. The Aga was a standard space replacement via excellent staff but the new extractor in limited space was a bit tricky. Nothing was too much trouble in selecting a suitable unit and planning and implementing the non standard installation. Full Marks

Great service from this company with my AGA. Changed from oil to electric with no trouble at all. Then took time to have a purpose made masking plate to cover old water service pipes normally covered by cabinetry. All fitted and all is now perfect! I found Edwards &Godding when I was having trouble with my Stanley cooker - my previous servicing engineer having left the business, to my great regret. I found them helpful, and competent. After the first repair, I had a repeat of my previous problem a few days later - I emailed over the weekend, and Paul was with me on Monday morning. He found another fault, which he fixed, and all is now well again. I accept some of the comments regarding expense in other reviews - but we are not talking about a common device, but one which requires understanding to look after it properly. If you can find an engineer who understands such cookers, and can do a good job for less money, you have been very lucky. Personally, I'm sticking with Paul. D.B.Humphrey
