My husband and I recently visited the store whilst in Hampshire visiting my daughter. We were very impressed with the store and how it related to furnishings within our homes. A lovely lady named Helen approached us and we immediately warmed to her friendly and professional approach. Helen made us feel special and listened to our needs. We are coming up to Southampton very shortly and Hammond in Hedge End is one of our first places to go to.

I approached Hammonds because it was a name and reputation I knew from many years ago. I was pleased to see, when I looked for them, that they were still in business. I visited the store and had a chat with a very helpful Helen, who went through all my requirements. I had a very awkward shaped room with a ceiling which slanted towards some low windows, I was concerned that nothing would be possible but it was :-) The whole process from consultation to completion was stress free and straight forward. Very pleased.

I would just like to say a big ‘Thank You’ to my designer Christina who was so patient and did not rush me at all. The design she produced was exactly what we were looking for and solved all our storage problems, with the handy tall bookcase on the end. I was a bit apprehensive in going forward to do my daughter’s bedroom as it was a considered purchased. I need not have worried so much. When I visited the store, the staff were so helpful and answered all my questions. The Surveyor Darren and Rees the carpenter were very professional in their approach. My daughter loves her bedroom and is all set now to study for her future GCSE’s.

All my fitted and built-in wardrobes were fitted by Hammond's when my house was new-built, and they're still in excellent condition 15 years later! When I inquired at my local Hedge End branch about adding another built-in for a space in spare room using existing wardrobe doors from my bedroom (because I was going to use the wardrobe space to extend my bathroom), I couldn't have got a more helpful response! Utterly professional, and very polite service. Would recommend!

I recently visited the Hammonds showroom in Hedge End looking to replace one of my bedrooms. Upon entering I was greeted by Helen who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She showed my several ranges that fitted the style and colour ranges I was looking for, answering all my queries and questions confidently. I was shocked and surprised that this store doesn't have a lift. Helen was very helpful. She showed me some images on the display screen and tablet. Helen was amazing. She's an asset to your company. Excellent all round. I went to after lockdown to view ranges and speak to a colleague about how Hammonds could help me. I am not sure of the ladie's name, but think it was Hayley or Helen. I visited this showroom in November. The ladies were really helpful and I made an appointment. I was really impressed with the consultation and was all set to order when I saw these reviews. I then tried to find an alternative but nobody impressed me the way that sian did and although I was nervous I decided to put my faith in her. I’m so glad I did. I love my wardrobes and I have had nothing but good service from sian the surveyor and the fitter. Excellent job.

So far I only have praises for this company. You get a high quality service with a high quality product at a reasonable price. This is your next step up from the DIY chains imo. During the home design visit you get given a price which is negotiable. So long as both parties are happy the deal is made. Following that, a surveyor visits and double checks the design. If all correct they start making the furniture to your order. The next part is for the installer to arrive and carry out the actual installation. After that you are left to enjoy your new furniture for years to come. All relatively stress free. One day hopefully my entire house will be fitted out with Hammonds products. Just be sure you aren't moving home anytime soon as you wont want to leave it behind :)

My partner and I visited Hammonds Hedge End last weekend looking for fitted wardrobes for our dressing room and we were impressed with the showroom and the wide range of furniture and quality of it on display. Anita greeted us and spent time going through all our options and was clearly passionate about the family run business. We were so impressed we booked a surveyor to come give us some ideas and options. Daryll turned up on time and spent a couple of hours with us going through plans and options with no hard sales talk and was a pleasure to welcome into our home. We were pleased with the prices so much so we decided to have additional furniture in another bedroom. Great payment options were on offer and all relevant correspondence with Hammonds followed swiftly by email and the promised phone call to book final survey and installation dates happened as said. So far through this process we are very impressed with the professionalism from Hammonds and it's staff .
