I've got an electric reclining settee being delivered next week but unfortunately didn't have what I enquired about price wise for what I was looking for but still a good shop will review when I get sofa next week

I feel compelled to update my review of Oak Furniture Land below as they have dealt with my issue most satisfactorily. My advice to anyone with a problem is to call customer services during the week and not on weekends. Purchased a sideboard and display unit from this company two and a half months ago and the day before the expected delivery, no contact from them. Called them up to confirm delivery only to be told they can't deliver for another five weeks! I told them I wanted to cancel the order and receive a refund, and that's when the fun started. I have been fobbed off a lied to ever since by the people in the store where I purchased the items and by the customer service telephone operators. They keep telling me they will call me back and never do. I strongly recommend anyone looking for oak furniture not to use this company.

Recently purchased a settee and table and chairs. Initially asked if we needed any help and then not bothered again until we needed to ask questions about options available. Clear guidance given on options and costs. Sale detail all recorded smoothly and warranty explained with no pressure to buy, but at 5 years cover for circa £70 was excellent value for money. Delivery and build all done very professionally. We would definitely use again.

Well, we ordered sofas in store they took 12 weeks to arrive, that was fine, sales staff in store were great, sofas delivered on time, delivery guys very polite plenty off comms on the day, un-packed our sofas brought them in to the house gave a demo of how the recliners worked. Great stuff. Then, left us to pack up 9 bin Bags full of plastic, polystyrene, tapes, straps and bubble wrap, padding, from outside our house on the pavement Along with a mountain of cardboard.. Imagine 3 boxes big enough to house a 3 seater, 2 seater, and armchair recliners! Absolutely horrendous amount of waste materials through unnecessary packaging. It took us 5 trips to the nearest tip in our car to get rid of all the packaging otherwise it would cost us £75-90 for a rubbish clearance Co. To come and clear it for us.

The staff are extremely friendly here but also very respectful if you do not wish to be spoken to or, indeed, harassed! I bought a new sofa from here at the beginning of the year (2017) as I was moving into a new flat and needed furniture. The salesman was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and he really helped me get exactly what I wanted, and even included a demonstration of how the sofa is put together and re-arranged easily. Highly recommended and especially for sofa's it's much better than any of the other main competitors!

The customer service here was incredible, we weren't bombarded by the sales team but were given our space. One of the staff showed us through how the table sets extend, and also, helpfully, explained which pieces of furniture go with what. We were offered a free drink on our way around (tea, coffee or hot chocolate), which was surprising, seeing as it is a furniture shop! When we decided to buy our furniture the process was easy, but they did seem to want too much information (where you work, yearly income). If you spend over £1,500, you get a free giant clock, mirror (most of the ones we saw are slightly warped though) or lamp.

It's full of similar oak furniture which is neither modern nor overtly traditional. Great if you don't want 'shouty' glass and chrome dripped furniture left over from the Italian 60s, but not particularly inspiring. Shop assistants were very polite and didn't follow us around in that creepy, distrusting way some sales people employ.

Walked into hedge end Southampton, immediately welcomed by salesman David Sheath, he was helpful and not pushy which was good. Walked out after purchasing some nice Oak furniture thanks to his help. Can't wait for the delivery now.

Came here to look at sofas and other furniture. Good range, salesmen can be a bit predatory. We didn't find what we wanted but it did give us ideas and we will be back. Can't comment on delivery as nothing purchased. Have a look at the cotswold company there products are better than oak furnitureland.

Visited this store after visiting many other stores.Finally found a three seater settee that we all liked after not finding one in any other stores The price was good only draw back the delivery time is know up to 4 months due to covid.

We've bought about 10 pieces of furniture from oak furniture land, and we have been very happy with the quality of the furniture and the service provided both in store and online, the items do come very well packaged in sturdy cardboard boxes and if you're having a number of pieces delivered it might be worth paying the extra for the assembly disposal service.
