Sorry, this is a long one but choosing the right company to supply and fit a kitchen is such an important decision and so I wanted to share my review on price, design, quality, installation and customer service. If you don't want to read on, just know they scored 5 stars on each and every area and we really couldn't recommend them enough! PRICE Believing we'd never be able to afford a high quality German kitchen, and being dazzled by so-called 50% off offers and sales touted by the large mass production kitchen companies, we ordered with "a little bird" 😉. Big mistake! Luckily though, after a bit more research and discovering lots of horror stories, we were able to cancel and started the search for a more reliable and reputable company. That's when we were recommended to Chris Lawrence. I was initially anxious about how much more expensive it would be - after all, they didn't have any shiny 50% off offers, but I was shocked and thrilled to discover they were almost exactly the same price for the kitchen as the little bird and significantly cheaper for the installation! How though?? How could a beautiful quality German kitchen without any sales be roughly the same as a company whose price included lots of attractive discounts? We soon understood how easy it was to artificially inflate an RRP cost in order to make a 50% off deal sound too tempting to ignore. Thank goodness we realised when we did! Price = ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ DESIGN Having done the rounds with all the main high street kitchen retailers, we had plenty of experience with designers but I've got to tell you, Lisa is of a different class. The design she put together for us solved all the issues the other designers said weren't possible. She thought of every detail for every way the kitchen would be used. She's also got incredible taste and such a talent for combining style with practicality. The final design was outstanding and gave us enormous confidence we were with the right company. Design = ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ QUALITY I mean, it's a German kitchen. Do we need to say much more? The look and finish is just exemplary. It's worth visiting the high street retailers to get an idea for what else is out there so you can really appreciate just how much better a German kitchen is. It's quite honestly night and day. No contest. Quality = ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ INSTALLATION The Christopher Lawrence team are just amazing. Chris and Darren are true craftsmen with such skill and an eye for detail, they surpassed every possible expectation. There is no cutting corners with these guys either. You can tell they live by the ethos that if a job is worth doing, its worth doing well and if they weren't 100% happy with something, they'd carry on through until they were. The team are extremely friendly and warm and were an absolute pleasure to have around for the whole time they were here. They did everything they could to reduce any inconvenience to us and always left the place tidy at the end of every day. I'd also definitely recommend letting them organise all the other suppliers needed for install. They completely project managed everything, arranging electricians, plumbers, plasterers etc all of which turned up as and when required in the process, again making everything seamless, simple and crucially, stress free! Installation = ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ CUSTOMER SERVICE During the entire experience from the initial meeting and design through to final completion, the team had 100% focus on providing outstanding service. I never had to chase. I never had to worry or stress. They had everything in hand and even when a few things went wrong (which they inevitably do and for us was a few minor damages incurred during shipping from Germany), they proactively handled it quickly and efficiently. In fact, I didn't even need to say anything. I hadn't noticed a couple of small dinks but they did and arranged replacements without any fuss or delay. Customer Service = ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Overall, these guys are amazing and I simply wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone. True leaders in their field!

Brilliant experience from start to finish. Lisa's listened to our priorities and requirements and gave us an excellent final design which is perfect. Chris has a great team of exceptional craftsmen, and nothing was too much trouble, they were a pleasure to have in our home. We now have an absolutely spectacular kitchen and at a reasonable cost. We first instructed Chris Lawrence Designs to add additional cupboards to our utility room last year. We wanted ones that matched our current cupboards, and Chris's team helped us to work out which models we needed. Chris did such a great job of installing the cupboards (sturdy and immaculate finish, and cleaned up after himself) that we instructed him again this year to add more cupboards to our kitchen and WC. We also recommended him to our neighbours, who did the same and were also delighted with the finish. We were really impressed with Chris - he is really friendly and approachable, the kind of tradesman that you're happy to have in your home. We would highly recommend!

We chose Chris Lawrence Design to design and fit a new kitchen and utility room as part of a ground floor extension project following a recommendation by a neighbour, and we are very pleased that we did. The build itself did not go at all to schedule, which meant we had to push back the delivery and fitting of the kitchen at relatively short notice. The team were absolutely brilliant about it, and went out of their way to help. From the design to the fitting and the after care, we cannot fault the quality of the service provided by Chris, Darren and Lisa. Their care and attention to detail is excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Lisa is great. Really helpful and full of good advice. She takes the time to listen to your needs. Kitchens are extremely good quality with solid wood doors, more expensive than some places you can buy a kitchen, but worth it in the long run. A kitchen is one of the most important rooms in a house and most people don't change it for many years so it has to right.

We recently moved into a new apartment but the existing kitchen didn't meet our needs and was poorly designed. Chris had installed a kitchen for us in our last property and did a great job, so we asked him to look at our new apartment and come up with a design for a new kitchen. Chris and his team quickly came back with a proposal that was exactly on-brief, providing much more storage space, better appliances, higher build quality and all-round improved use-ability. Everything was installed to Chris' usual high standards in a remarkably short period, and we're delighted with it. We'd recommend Chris to anyone who wants a quality kitchen designed and installed.

We are delighted with our new kitchen and utility room recently installed by Chris Lawrence Designs. What a friendly and delightful team. After an initial visit from Chris and Lisa, the design and install was carried out perfectly. Chris is a great ideas man suggesting many options for more useful storage space and better appliances etc. Lisa was extremely helpful and patient talking through what designs and colours we wanted and creating computer representations for us to review. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The installation proceeded faultlessly. Darren and Chris are both perfectionists and great installers. Everything was completed to the highest standards including the work carried out by their selected Electrician and Plasterer. The design and instal was made more complex by us wanting to retain our existing Granite worktops throughout. Chris and Lisa arranged for a separate specialist company to come and remove and re-install the worktops. Lisa was in constant communication throughout helping with the selection of granite matching upstands and Glass panel to replace our old tiles. We were so impressed that we also went ahead with replacement units, worktops and sinks in 2 bathrooms and our cloakroom. Again Chris and Lisa were most helpful with design ideas, Lisa so helpful again with colour and design choices and all again immaculately installed by Darren and Chris. We have no hesitation in recommending them for any Kitchen or bathroom project you may have.

Lisa designed our bathroom taking into account all our needs, she also suggested ideas that made the bathroom look fantastic. I was referred to Chris Lawrence Designs by friends and, after their initial visit, chose them to carry out the complete refurb of my main ensuite. I could not have been more delighted. During the initial design, Chris and Lisa encouraged open thinking and used their experience to introduce creative ideas. Their patience in the iteration of drawings helped clarify our thinking and agree on the design. A mutually agreeable start date was chosen and the work started bang on time. Once underway, their attention to detail and meticulous preparation was incredible. Chris and Darren took the whole room back to its shell and, as planned, spent the first 3 weeks levelling the floor, aligning walls and putting all the infrastructure in place. In the final week it all came together and the quality of their work and finished product was first class. It has totally transformed the room and I feel pleased that they helped me focus spending the right money in the right places and not spending it unnecessarily in others. The after sales visit by Lisa was a really nice touch too. I wouldn’t hesitate to you use Chris Lawrence Designs again and would most definitely recommend to others. We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen and the whole project from design to completion could not have been carried out in a more efficient and friendly manner. At design stage Lisa spent many hours with us talking about what we wanted from our new kitchen and redesigning it many times until it was finally exactly what we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble for her. When start date was approaching we were given a 'schedule of works' so that we knew exactly what was happening and when and this was closely adhered to. The workmanship, including the electrics and plastering, was of the highest possible standard and everything was beautifully finished. Communication throughout the project was excellent and the one very minor problem that did arise was dealt with instantly.
