Good things: fairly clean and new, toilets were fine, good selection of food options, fuel isn't extortionate and they were offering 10p per litre off if you spend £10 on food. Less good things: signage from the motorway wasn't obvious, the car park layout was pretty awful, it was very busy (but we were there on a Friday!) Overall, it's a pretty decent services and certainly better than the other options around Cardiff!

All facilities very clean. From the cleaning person to the person in Burger King serving. Had a wonderful experience. Cleaning person (whom I consider to be the most important person in the business) was lovely and polite, clearly took pride in their work. To the lady working very hard in Burger King, thank you. You made a very small mistake and rectified it immediately. Ladies you are a credit to your employer. Thank you!!!

Smallish service station with plenty of parking and fuel available. Not much choice of food etc. Mainly Starbucks and burger bar style food. Be careful when you leave as you can easily end up going the opposite way to where you want to go, as signage is confusing.

Great place for a quick stop... the signage off the motorway isn't great but if you do miss the first turn off don't worry go to the roundabout and you can get to the services that way (They need to cut back the hedges and clear the signage toy make it clearer, but that's probably not the services issue)

This is a small service area with a relatively new building on the M4 in South Wales, near Bridgend. Sadly it is run by Welcome Break who sell Starbucks coffee, which is why I will not use it again. I ordered the smallest coffee they sell, which came in a large, white, dirty, downmarket mug. As usual Starbucks coffee is too weak for my taste and left a soapy taste in my mouth. The pan au raisin I ordered was dry and tasteless, but nicer than the pastries sold by Costa (although Costa's coffee is far better). There is a good choice of cafes in the nearby McArthurGlen designer outlet on the other side of the motorway and If you are looking for a good coffee, I would recommend going there instead.

It's a good welcome break from the driving. A bit of a drive to get to once off the motorway, traffic lights and a roundabout can be a pain when busy . Plenty of parking and lots of choice to eat.

One of the better services on the M4 because it was very clean inside and out. We were lucky enough to visit on a sunny afternoon and enjoy a coffee in the sun at the tables outside. The entry signs were difficult to see coming off the motorway due to overgrown bushes and the road layout in the services itself is very confusing when trying to find the entrance to the car park. Perhaps that's why it was quite quiet in there.

Well thought out disabled parking and access ramp with amazingly well equipped disabled toilet including a hoist and adult changing table. The whole site is clean, tidy and well maintained. Starbucks, WHSmith and Burger King. They also have a shower facility. All team members I spoke with were polite and professional. This is a motorway service area so I think it is normal to expect the price of certain things to be more expensive than the "high street", having said that, I did not consider my purchases from WHSmith and two meals from Burger King particularly pricey. This is an excellent example of a typical services. There are plenty of charging points for electric cars, petrol station and typical service area hotel.

Currently very quiet, but is open for takeaway food and a quick break. Burger King and Starbucks are available as well as a wh Smith. Driver thru for Starbucks but not for burger King. Staff are generally friendly and more than happy to help under the current circumstances. Also a shell petrol station available, although can be a little bit expensive compared to the local supermarket petrol stations.

Days Inn was brilliant, staff really friendly and helpful. Shopping facilities excellent and only about 20 mins walk from the service area. Watch out for parking charges and fines though if parking in the main service area - something extortionate like £15 if staying more than 2hrs and up to 24hrs; around £100 fine if you go over the 2hrs free or the 24hrs for £15.

Now that it has been rebuilt it's actually quite a nice services area. The Starbucks is great for your morning coffee. The only downside is the extortionate cost of fuel, but there is a full electric vehicle charging area.

Could do with some better signage near the exit, there's simply some words on the road with no clear signs posts. As for the Starbucks the staff are unfriendly and a friend of mine got a parking fine for over staying in the car park. The Burger king isn't much better. Place run by children. Didn't seem to know what they were doing. Doesn't give a good impression to people visiting Wales.

It’s a little cold and bland. But it’s clean and simple and all you really need from a service station. Like all of them, you will be milked on prices. But not quite as much as some others. There’s no McDonalds, so there’s not the happy meal detritus, dumped from the doors of spoilt teenagers’ 1.2l racing hatchbacks. Unfortunately the coffee is from the Starbucks franchise, but drinks are also available from the less unethical outlets.

Visited July 2016. Impressive newly rebuilt services now open 24hrs with modern facilites, electric vehicle charging, 8 Tesla chargers, Starbucks seated cafe with drive-thru, Burger King restaurant and WHSmith branch. Large car park. Shell petrol station. Toilet facilities include showers and baby changing. Disabled access very good. Plenty of space for picnics and dog walking. Staff friendly, very clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

Vastly improved concourse building. The very cheery cleaner guy, Len, cleaned the shower for me before I went in and again when i had finished. At one time you had to go to the Travelodge where I would lie in the bath with a cup of tea and the little packet of custard creams!

The tow service dropped my son and myself off at Sarn Park Services, while they towed her car back to her house with her and my grandson and then came back for us. Very clean location, with amenities for kids, to keep them occupied. Friendly staff all around.
