Good Tesco express and reasonable fuel prices, although you will often find cheaper not too far as way. Very limited shopping parking.

Massive, massive queue of students waiti g to get in, but the manager organised things so nobody (petrol customers AND students) waited more than a minute in the till queue

When all the supermarkets and local grocery stores were closed on Boxing Day I was delighted to find such a good selection of food. Open 24/7 and as good as any supermarket local.

At 0100 today - Sunday 3rd October, 15-18the guy in the shop managed to serve numerous drivers and those just using the shop whilst maintaining a smile and courtesy. Having searched across Brighton and Hove for fuel, I saw a tanker delivering here on my way home. I decided to drop my wife home and went back to buy some fuel (E10 Petrol). A queue of around 20 cars had already formed and the forecourt was fairly jammed pack with 15-18 cars. There was E10 petrol and diesel with around 50% of the fuel variants/pumps available) and no limit on the amount you could have. A few drivers were jumping the queue by turning right into the forecourt and blocking the busy Dyke Road junction but it was generally all good natured. Well done Tesco Hove Express.

Great store and petrol station with a good range of products instore. A very tricky location on a small site at a big junction with traffic lights, hard to get in and out of in a car depending on direction of travel. Best for locals.

ATM outside along with the fuel pumps. No car wash facilities. A small shop area that they manage to pack an extremely large variety of groceries into. The selection is good and includes bakery and alcohol. The downside is that it is very popular and the till queue often goes down one of the food aisles; this is confusing for new customers who randomly queue in other directions. Usually 24 hour service bit Covid is apparently curtailing this luxury. The good staff ring for assistance when the queue is increasing; just hope for observant staff when you shop. :)

Such a polite bunch in here! Considering this is a petrol station, there is such a good selection of groceries. Perfect if you want to walk to Dyke Road Park directly next it or walk down the hill towards Preston Park

It's a petrol station! Also has an air pump and water station so you can check and fill tyre pressure and top up your washer fluid, although it was covered in some idiots rubbish which had obviously been dumped from their car and had been flattened in that area. Not pleasant!

The usual Tesco/Esso petrol station. Generally the cheapest petrol in the area. A good selection of items as expected. Can sometimes be very busy due to the local college. Sometimes difficult to exit due to being right on a junction with traffic lights
