Avoid the homemade baguettes etc, very expensive for what they are and don't feel like they're made with care or attention to detail. The fuel is always priced similarly to local prices and there's a good amount of items on offer (albeit at an inflated rate, as is standard with most garages)

A very useful 24hr Esso station and general store, friendly staff and a reasonable selection of products. It's quite near to a Tesco so the fuel prices are good, also if you get their loyalty card you get a 2p/litre discount.

Good layout, you never get boxed in, it has the cheapest fuel prices around. It's also a Budgens, Subway and has a selection of Cook meals. It's a decent sized convenience shop.

Generally I go here for my fuel, always good service. Fuel prices are sometimes 1 or 2 pence above the competition which is a shame but I guess it all evens out in the end.

Relatively cheap petrol, though afaik not as cheap as the nearby tesco petrol station. I Had to go here when the tesco petrol station was closed one time, the lady working the night shift was very nice and polite, though not being much of a people person myself and lazy to boot, I would love the option to pay at the pump, hence the 4 instead of 5 stars.

Budgens/ Esso fuel station. A Subway is also located here. A drive through cat wash, vacuum and a jet wash lance. Supermarket also inside, with a wide range of products and produce. Alcohol also available.

This place is always open, it's a great resource to have in a town the size of Nailsea, I'm not sure Bristol has many places like this open 24/7. There's a good range of stuff and it's not too expensive.

Nailsea, for all it's faults, has a few good things going for it - it has several services running into Bristol, a train station operating between Wales, Cornwall and London and two large, convenient supermarkets. It's had a food festival, an annual victorian fair, a summer fair each May and has a couple of small but pleasant green spaces for children to play in. It's much milder than Bristol, perhaps not as diverse, but it's a safe, affordable (in some areas at least) place to raise your children and have the convenience of a big city on your doorstep. As with any suburban town, it's not the prettiest in places, but property prices as a result tend to favour people being priced out of central Bristol and looking for somewhere nice to settle. Food wise there is next to nothing, but: I firmly believe the best Indian restaurant in the country resides here - Posh Spice. It is an unbelievably good Indian that everyone must visit. Other food options include Coates House (some very nice food, drink and live music), a Wetherspoons which is a Wetherspoons, a Greggs and an Italian called 'El Paradiso'. I'm hoping that some more exciting eateries will crop up in coming years. It could really bloody do with it.
