This is an ok petrol station, with friendly staff and good service. However, like many other petrol stations, it has been relatively slow to pass on price decreases to its customers. There are cheaper places to fill your tanks up with fuel within a few miles radius of Tesco's.

Always a pleasant experience personally most of the time I fill up by card which is pretty straightforward, Click pay by card, Scan my clubcard, Insert my card enter my pin 1..2..3 and 4 and wait for the lift nozzle sign before lifting the nozzle...and then panic because the fuel cap is closed and locked on my car

Used this fuel station as long as I have lived in my present location. Very competivly priced fuel and easy choice of payment methods. As yet no electric vehicle charging stations. On site car wash available.

Prices aren't too bad and even better if you are a club card holder so you can gain points, which in turn reduces the cost by 1p.the only reason it doesnt get a 5* is due to Newton Aycliffe petrol station is placed right on the bend going into the car park with a small roundabout and an island to contend with. This causes lots of issues/accidents and near misses with drivers from both the petrol station and the store itself.

This petrol station is a reasonably sized and efficient place to fill your car. It's rare that I've had to queue for long, and the "Pay at Pump" option means that most vehicles move on quite quickly. If you were hoping to stock up on shopping in the kiosk, you may be disappointed by the limited selection, but the large Tesco Extra store is right on the doorstep. There is a full car wash on site as well as free water for your windscreen wash. The only time I have wanted to use the vacuum it was unfortunately not working. I have always found the staff to be polite and friendly.

The kiosk is open everyday of the week, but not at night (you can still use the pump). You'll want to take a card if you plan on filling up late as you'll be able to fill up and pay at the pump. Limit of £100 when using card so may need to fill up more than once.

Fuel is self serve - nothing to assess staff on. I one asked for help with the air line but didn't get it

The fuel station at Tesco is what it is. The prices, while generally undercutting the other local fuel stations, are OK at best. If there's one problem it's that the diesel pump handles often have diesel fuel on the handles. The car wash on site is one of the best around the Durham area in my opinion.

This Tesco station would not accept the new style Tesco clubcard. Ended up going to the kiosk - annoying as I am disabled but at least the young lady behind the counter was nice and friendly.
