26.9 afternoon. No fuel don't come if you need fuel. They are not sure when they will have delivery. Stuff is nice and friendly only some people blocked road yesterday trying get in from wrong way. Car wash and shop still open as usual.

A High Tech Petrol Station in the best possible way, drive in, I was there s few weeks ago with my friend from the suburb who swiped her card and fillled up and went her your way without any fuss and bother and without interacting with any Humans, but alas times are changing and by 2030 all fuel driven vehicles are all banned even the hybrids, there is plenty of room in this high tech station to install electric charging points a sad but necessary necessity in our changing times, am I the only one to realise the implications of George Orwell's 1984, that if every vehicle is charged from the mains supply that the government of the day can decide who can travel and who cannot, when you charge your new shiny car please think that someone somewhere controls the on/off switch and you have lost control of part of your freedom to travel as you wish, the control of fuel for vehicles is now going electric and out of the hands of companies and into the hands of the state.

Usually a reasonably priced petrol pump in the area. Can use the Esso app to fuel/pay/collect nectar points directly at the pump - no need to pay at the till!

Petrol at a fairly standard price but wait! This place has a superb car wash facility. It's a Jet Wash that you use yourself. What's so different you ask. Well, you put your money in or pay by contactless and you get 'time'. You start off by hot water jetting then Soaping your car and rinsing off and you can do a wax wash as well. But the difference is you can select the type of "jet" by pressing one of five buttons on the machine at any time. It's just a question of how much 'time' you have. If you are quick you can easily wash your car for £3. There's always a queue so it must be good. There's also a vacuum to hoover out your car. Give it a go or pop down and get some tips watching someone else doing their car.

It's a petrol station people. Nithing extraordinary, nothing that was never seen before. Nothing special here. No new special patent technology. Just a few pumps that allow you to put gas in your tank and kill some polar bears and contribute to the global warming. ...I didn't fuel up here. All I wanted to do is buy myself some Redex. Came, parked, bought got out. Oh yeah, I did use the toilet on the way out. Wasn't the cleanest toilet, but wasn't the dirtiest either, so it's all good. 5 stars from me.

Not a great fan because they do not have the superior diesel which is a grave Omission because quite a few cars absolutely needed as normal diesel destroys the DPF and petrol pumps in those cars concerned. The space in the petrol station shop is gravely narrow like a sardine tin, far far too small. I only ever go there in fair petrol emergencies as with the recent decade's history in petrol stations surviving means that this is the only quite close one to my house.
