Reviews of Sainsbury's Petrol Station
Marsh Mills pads I’ve never had a problem before but this morning several of pumps not working. Lady at pump in front of me it would only let her have £17. My pump took all my details then as I went to start filling it went to zero & asked if I wanted a receipt. I had to go into kiosk & a chap came out & did something to it. So I’m just hoping I’m not going to be charged twice.
My local petrol station, good amount of pumps, looks like they are ready for the E5 and E10 oil changes providing both.
One of the cheapest prices in Plymouth
Loads of pumps so if it's busy you don't wait to long and the price is always competitive. You can pay at the pump or in the store at the kiosk. Inside there is a Costa machine to grab a quick coffee and it's cheaper than the 2 drive throws across the road. Only problem I have is if you go in early on a Sunday you can only leave driving towards the city centre as they keep the gates locked on the other exit.
My choice for fuel ⛽ stop. Always competitively priced. Service is always professional & efficient as I do like to pay at the kiosk. Spilled some fuel on the forcourt sadly but the staff went straight away cleaning it up & also cleaned the spillage on my vehicle without asking. Soooo impressed. 👍👍👍
Not the best laid out petrol station. However the only reason I gave 4 stars was due to the fact the Air is free unlike practically everywhere else. Another downside is too many plonkers won't choose a pump to wait by and therefore a massive queue ends up tailing back
The queue and approach is awkward. Only one entrance and if someone blocks a space it backs up the traffic. Moderately priced petrol especially if you use premium fuel compared to other bigger fuel stations
A petrol station like any other, don't be fooled into thinking you have to follow the exit that goes straight onto embankment Road, can go straight into car park and come out on roundabout, the fact that there's 3 lanes for the 3 on Marsh mills could be better shown on the run up to the exit but maybe I just missed something
Usefully situated on marsh mills roundabout. Plenty of pumps with a self serve function to save time. Type pressure station free but not totally accurate. Left all my tyres slightly underinflated so had to go elsewhere.
Fairly priced fuel, fairly happy staff and a selection of food, drinks, car products and magazines.
Just wish they sold top shelf mags...
Petrol is bae.
It's a petrol station. It does what it says on the box. Only disadvantage is that the entrance / exit from the main A38 and A374 is convoluted, as is getting from and to the main store car park. Having said that it's well placed on main roads, and is pretty quick to get in and out of if you don't need to get to the main store. Good stop off point if you're travelling from the M5 and need to refuel before you get to Cornwall.
Fairly reasonably priced fuel station probably only occasionally beaten in price by Asda. My car always runs well on their fuel and they have a premium petrol option.
Put fuel in car.
Cheap fuel just off the main road. Definitely worth stopping here rather than at a service station. Also has cheap essentials - sandwiches, milk bread etc. cheap if you need them
Good petrol station and well run. Always good pricing on fuel. Free air and water is a bonus.
Easy access and pay at pump or cashier. Can be busy at peak times but with the number of pumps the queue soon moves. Small shop as well.
Just another Saintsbury's. It's quite big and houses and Argos store. I hated my meal in their cafe. My tuna mayo jacket potato lacked tuna. Basically, I got a brown runny liquid with bits in it over a jacket potato. The worst I've ever had.
Always a fair price and quick with many bowsers and tills. Plus free air and water station. Handy for the main supermarket too.
Really convenient on Marsh Mills roundabout on the A38 approaching Plymouth. Pay at the pump, or in the shop. Lowest prices in the area. Friendly and helpful staff.
Fuel always resonably priced against surrounding station.
Queue can be a little long at peek times.
Great priced fuel just off the A38. Also FREE air and water.
A great place for value in petrol staff are akways nice and polite especially shaun who majes our day
Handy for fuel when shopping at Sainsbury's, nothing special as fuel stations go but the staff are very friendly.
Best price petrol around and very often get 8p per litre off
Always helpful, and fuel is cheaper than named brand. Air for tyres is free.
Good value fuel, can be busy at peak times.
Good service and a good selection of merchandise
plenty of space to park, and plenty of conveniant facilities kept to a high standard
Can be busy but few people about today so no waiting. Staff helpful and pleasant.
Confusing the first time when leaving the petrol station as you MUST turn right on the way out... Make sure you do as you will find yourself approaching oncoming traffic.
Friendly staff, good selection of snacks, mags and oil as well as fairly priced fuel
Great parking, easy to navigate around, good customer service and a restaurant that provides good food at a decent price.
Clean, tidy and friendly staff. Sometimes a queue as price is very competitive.
Only popped in for air as it's free. Had to wait about 25 mins but I had nothing else to do so it was fine
Easy to fuel up and go but can get ridiculously busy at times causing long queues.
Good prices and quality fuel as well friendly staff
Could be open 24/7. They sell the best petrol
About time the layout was improved to facilitate better traffic flow.
Runs out of super unleaded quite alot and is very popular at times.
Very efficient and friendly staff, well ordered
Big, never long to wait and very reasonably priced petrol
Cheaper fuel than normal eervice stations. Worth coming here
Standard petrol station, great if you have children in the car as you can pay at the pumps.
My local favourite. Lovely staff, everything in one place.
Great price for area but can be a wait staff pleasant
Sells petrol and diesel, nice large shop for roadtrip snacks etc.
Free air and usually competitive prices. Pay at pump available
Great store, large range of products and plenty of free parking
Usual supermarket moderate pricing moderate quality. Better than Tesco worse than waitrose
It's a super market petrol station so it's cheapish. Shame there is no premium fuel though
It's a fuel station what's more to say its got plenty of pumps free air and water
Usual garage fare. The bonus is that tyre pressure air is free.
One of the only places you can still get free air!
Well priced fuel so queues
Convenient store, not to big but has everything you need
Best to go later in the day as days times it seems very busy
You can get petrol in there so I suppose will give it 5/5

plenty of petrol pumps. also sandwiches. papers. general provisions. etc.
Live there TU clothes line & even more so when they have the 25% sales
Usually the cheapest fuel plus offers and nectar points
Good rate. Enough to go round with less queues
Getting out of is a tad tricky, especially if one has never been before.
Very quick and easy no problem.

Reasonably priced, a bit busy.
Standard petrol station, bit awkward to find your way in and out of until you know it.
