I needed a new hob and was limited by size. I called 4 companies and they only wanted to refit the kitchen. Gas Mark1 were excellent from start to finish. They told me exactly what they would do to resolve my needs and the work which was completed yesterday was excellent. The electrician/gas specialist and fitter were top guys. From the moment I first called asking for help I've been impressed by your company, that includes the people I've only spoken to in the office. I was really concerned that some of the pipework would be beyond recovery but the pre treatment Rhys did had a noticeable affect before Karl and Ashton arrived. The work carried out to replace our en-suite shower room was excellent in regard to the quality of workmanship, communication with all the staff and the initial buying process. Our house was left in an immaculate state at the end of each day's work and we are delighted with the end result. GM1 has replaced, my chunky old Potterton Power Max boiler which had built in tank, with a latest Vailliant boiler with unvented cylinder. They won the job by giving best quote, started and finished the job as promised on time. They were recommended by a friend, as a genuine professional company with very good reputation. The work they did was not easy and even big companies were afraid of taking the job, local plumbers refused to take the job because the area was too tight for them to work and due to height. The engineer Carl (gas safe registered) is very knowledgeable and polite, he made sure we didn't have to live without hot water any night with very little disruption throughout. Job was done neatly and the house was left clean and tidy. It's been 2 weeks and everything is running perfectly fine. Thank you Gas Mark 1 team you all are brilliant, keep up the work. Vikas

Had a shower pump replaced at a reasonable cost. A very professional job by Dean, the engineer and timely after install service by Gas Mark 1. Will definitely use them again 31st May 2019 : Had a thermostatic shower cartridge replaced today. Paul did a fantastic job with his many years of experience coming in to play. I thought it was going to be a tough job taking the square shower knob off, with the right tools he did with ease. Thanks Paul and Gas Mark 1 for the professionalism

Tom and Tom came and fitted a new water main from one side of my house to the other as main under floor was leaking. They are both very polite very clean and tidy and left my home as they found it. Recently had a vaillant combi boiler fitted by Gas Mark 1. Couldn't fault them on anything. From first getting a quote (which was extremely reasonable) to installation all concerned were very professional and friendly. Wouldn't hesitate in using them again and thoroughly recommend.

Purchased a new home and within two days the combi boiler packed up. Contacted Vaillant for a quote and was put in contact with John at Gasmark one as an approved installer. John came to quote very promptly, took time to give great advice amd was very competitively priced. The next day i called to accept the quote and they were able to install the same day. I would like to recognise the excellent service I that received from Gas Mark 1. We recently went into the show room at Watford without really knowing what we were looking for. Before long we found a fire that we fell in love with but was way over our budget. The staff went out of their way to try and understand what we were after in order to suggest suitable alternatives. James was particularly helpful in researching products (mantels, hearths, slips, fires etc) and putting together a number of packages for our consideration - all very competitive. His knowledge of the Gazco range stretched beyond products on the market, in fact he was able to show us photos of a fire taken on his phone at a trade event in the summer. This fire had only just been launched. I would also like to mention Darren who came to perform a site visit. Whilst being very experienced and knowledgeable, he was patient enough to explain the installation process and technical aspects of the fire at a level I could understand. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company because of the quality of its staff and the great service they provided me.

I have a living fire. Over the last couple of years given me a few problems. Igniter stopped working. Gas jets blocked. Cleared then blocked again Finally packed up completely. Last resort contacted Gas Mark 1 . Not only did they come the same day. They cleared the Jets and got the igniter working when two previous fitters said it couldn’t be done. All this within 30 minutes. Won’t be last resort next time. It will be First resort. Thank you Gas Mark 1
