Played the Swailend course early August. Flying in ( no cart) used their electric hand carts but still very hilly. Maybe get a buggy for this one. The Swailend course is quite a walk from the club house. Lots of ups and down holes. Course overall in good condition. Greens, tee boxes and fairways great. Course very busy as it was a Friday. Midweek recommended.

It is a relatively affordable driving range. The range is connected to Trackman application, which enable us to track our shots. Not many people even during weekends. Facilities are well managed and clean. Just one complaint is that the practice mat is a bit old, might need to be replaced soon. Highly recommended golf practice place.

This is a great golf course in lovely condition for October The course doesn’t have a bad hole and really enjoyable. The whole setup is great the clubhouse,the academy/practice range is first class, all the staff were very nice and accommodating & helpful on the day. I will definitely return👍

On Swailend for a try before I buy, course is in good way. I will be joining. Facilities are great with driving range, putting and pitch. Was in for food as well, that didn't disappoint. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

First time here and played the Hawkhill course which was superb. Highly recommended and look forward to playing it again. Very enjoyable scone and coffee afterwards in the clubhouse with excellent staff

Had a lovely time here when I joined my daughter's class for a school trip. Everyone we met was very friendly and made it fun and informative for the children. The grounds and clubhouse are clean and very well kept. They are trying to make golf accessible for all which is highly commendable. I thoroughly enjoyed having a shot on the driving range for the first time and will definitely return with the family. Keep up the good work guys.

Two great and challenging golf courses (Hawkshill and Swailend) - update played Hawkshill recently (July 2021) and was very disappointed to be charged full price for a course in poor condition.

The course is in a disappointing condition for this time of year. The fairways are patchy and the greens bumpy and slower than you’d expect. I would suggest leaving it to recover - maybe plan for next summer.

Great driving range facility. £9.50 for 120 balls is good value. Very scenic range with great views of the planes and helicopters coming into land at Dyce. Only slight comment is I couldn't log on to the trackman WiFi. Some yardage signs on the range would be good too. Never used the other facilities but looked immaculate. Burger van was very tempting

We had a great weekend of golf at Newmachar playing both courses over the weekend. The staff bent over backwards to provide us with great service. We ate both nights in the clubhouse without ant complaints. The food was fabulous. Thanks to all involved with Newmachar Golf Club.

Love this place with 2 courses to cover all abilities , awesome driving range and practice area facilities. Now even easier to get to with the new WPR (Aberdeen bypass) open making it so much easier to get to being in the north side of Aberdeen. The difference in Golf Club the past 2years have been exciting. Better info from Club ,all the new drainage,making for better fairways,and greens. The new driving range and trackman.I also think the professional team is now best in North of Scotland. We are very lucky with our new catering Menu changes daily with special weekend meals. Roll on next 2years

Played in the 3 day event the weekend just past. Unbelievable value for money, I cannot give enough praise for the organisation and efforts put in by all. I travelled up from Lancashire in the north west of England to play, and have already spoken to several pals and members from my home club about arranging a trip next year. There was something for everyone, and the golf courses are awesome. A special mention to the head professional, who was on hand for pretty much 14 hours a day throughout. Seriously, if you have not played at Newmachar golf club, get it into your diary asap.

I've been using the driving range at Newmachar GC as I try and learn more about golf (new to the sport). The facilities are fantastic, especially the TrackMan radar system on the range. It allows you to track all elements of your shots and it is a great way of improving your game!

The course is in fantastic nick and very picturesque. I would only like to change 2 things: 1. have a course map on the back of the card and 2. add distance markers to the 150 yd markers. Will definitely play again.
