I prefer to shop in store than online but they are getting a bit pricey and yes I know they have more overheads but other golf stores are more competitive in their pricing don't get me wrong the staff were helpful and the store looks good bit a chain of this size could be more competitive. they used to price match but now no longer do this and I think this could do their undoing, a pity really.

I called in for new golf balls, good range to chose from and bargains to be had on some makes. I was pleased to see Bridgestone are making a welcome return with more choices on offer. I was particularly pleased to see American Golf are now beginning to carry more ladieswear. Very welcome, thanks, great improvement. As usual as on recent visits, I was very pleased with service and friendliness of staff. A pleasure to shop here and getting better all the time.

Went in to get fitted for a few clubs and was dealt with by Oliver. He had me up on the tracker for less than 10/15 minutes and had already sorted with a new driver 3wood and rescue club. Couldn't have asked for more with regards to tips advice and just general knowledge. Will definitely be back to get new irons fitted. As all the staff are helpful and will accommodate you what ever your looking for

Fair sized shop though stock was low due to time of year with 2015 stock being cleared while awaiting arrival of the 2016 ranges.Staff friendly and always on hand, letting you know they were there to assist when needed without making a nuisance of themselves. No sign of hard sell tactics which we British so detest. When I decided on a purchase the sales assistant was very helpful and informative and the transaction went through smoothly and amicably. I realize it is no reflection on American Golf and they have no input as to when manufacturers release new lines, but to see a large retail chain struggling to offload last years lines in the middle of December with Christmas looming smacks of poor business sense on the part of the suppliers.

Good friendly staff that have a good sense of humour. Staff have a wealth of golfing and club knowledge and were able to make suggestions on club, ball striking and general swing. Would have no problems going back again for a custom fit.

Not overly impressed... the store is amazing, but when I asked 2 guys about the m2 I got 2 different answers which were both wrong. Nice guys in the place but only one off them made an effort to actually help you out with what you needed or if they didn't have that what was closes or if not better than what you wanted.

Really friendly helpful staff. They may be a big american chain but the service was good and I got a very good deal. Will definitely go back there. They fitted me using the latest trackman software so I was able to see what clubs worked best for me. 10/10.

Hats off again to A Golf Boucher for repairing my icart wheel which I broke. and the warranty had expired. The guys simply replaced the wheel free of charge and after a friendly chat sent me on my way. I've been going to American Golf for 15 years and I must say their service is next to none. I personally find the cost of gold to be out of control. AG is no exception. However this store is well stocked. Staff are helpful for the most part and the store is relatively well laid out.

made an appointment for fighting with Conor , he measured me hitting various shots and then with the data collected recommended the shafts to suit my game. Tried several Ping drivers but the G400 max felt the most comfortable. Picked the 16 degree fairway wood as you have the option of increasing to 17 degree or decreasing ins to 15 degree. tried fairway wood for a few weeks and so pleased with results i have now decreased it to 15 degrees to gain a few extra yards.

Very good advice from staff. Putting and custom fit area is the best I've ever seen. Great to be able to hit 30 ft putts when testing out a putter.

Did the try before I buy. Over and above what I expected. Trackman analysis of my swing and shots and had try with the Aeroburner and Callaway XR . Chose Aero. Assistant was brilliant, more like a coach.

Not a bad place to visit, little pricey for clothing, similar stuff that can be bought in Dunnes or Premark. Example being a nice blue polo shirt at £40, Premark for something similar £10--15quid, in fact I got a really nice rich looking blue polo shirt at £20.
